    I had to put my dog down, couldn’t stop crying. Vet staff took my keys until I could drive. I had to then go pick up my daughter from school, so I prayed for strength and something else to think about. Got in my car, and this song immediately came on the radio. God has a sense of humor.

      Yeah, I'm still waiting for the One In A Million reaction. I don't see it happening. The funny element around that song is an interview with Slash, whose mother of course is black. The interviewer asked what he thought when the N line came in and Slash replied "yeah, it was disconcerting". I found it hilarious that he was so collegial about it and chose "disconcerting". Slash is a classy guy.

    Axl's voice in his prime was spectacular...it fit with GNR so well....I saw them open for Motley Crue in the 80's and didn't really know who they were at the time. Can you imagine my face at THAT show 35 years ago??😀
    ..."Take it for what it is" .. says it all.

    I remember in the late 90’s and a DJ at a rock club played this and decided this song to OJ Simpson. I little brutal but I still remember that to this day and everytime I hear this song. Which sorta sucks cuz I love this song.

    One in a Million. A very controversial song by GNR. Another one are Get in The Ring. Axl calling out several music journalists. You should also check out Dust an' Bones and 14 Years sung by former guitarist Izzy Stradlin. Love these two. A very non typical song are the short My World. Doesn't sound like GNR at all

    They played this early in the show when I saw them live in 2016, it was perfect, easy going vibe, while people were still filling up.the stadium . I hopped off the LRT train & instantly realized how loud the show was gonna be , outdoor stadium , excellent acoustics & mixed just right, too.
    It was a helluva party .
    G n R debuted their cover of Campbell s " Wichita lineman " at that show .

    I gotta say it was the 80's, some lyrics were really about deep feelings and others were not to be taken so seriously, like Used to Love Her. In the end it was about rock and roll, having fun and talking about what they wanted :)

  • @thisandthat7927
    @thisandthat7927 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

    Lol their banter at the end is great. The whole thing about the double dream and being annoyed but it didn’t even really happen and then brads ultimate why dream about you complaining when I can have it in real life. lol the fact they can just joke around like that and laugh that’s what a tight relationship is all about . You can tell they have been together for a long time and will be for a long time to come.
