Your video makes me want to buy one for my incoming Hakone... I like how you actually explain what you're doing and you're very easy to follow.

Thanks! I try to make the videos as simple to follow as possible so everyone at any skill level can perform the same install.

The entire time I was making it, that was my entire goal.
I’m tired of watching other content where they blab around and talk all kinds of nonsense for 30 minutes before showing you what you actually came for.

I had an idea that I'd like to run by. What if I used a firewall-mount remote oil filter as my catch can?
Every time I change the engine oil, just change out the cheap oil filter on the remote oil filter mount?

I mean, that’s an interesting thought. Catch cans purpose is to catch not just the oil, but the fuel particulate and other nasty things that happened due to combustion they get blown past piston rings.
You could theoretically have an air oil separator, and have a secondary oil filter that the separator return line passes through before going back into your crank case, but I think this is overkill.
A simple catch can is enough to grab everything.
I’m just thinking out loud here, but yours is an interesting idea that I haven’t thought of.
