@@TripleR250 Calais was Rommel's geuss Because it was the closest landing to England. Plus German scout planes reported troops and supply movement at a port near adjacent to Calais. When the allied fleet left england they were going towards Calais and then changed course towards Normandy mid-travel so as to not give the Germans enough time to deploy troops there. If we had landed on Calais we probably wouldn't have won the beach

Gotta admit, good example of why some humans make such worthy prey for the Predators. If the Predator isn't careful enough, even a soon to be dead human will look the Predator dead in the eye before showing their own ruthless killer behavior.
Reminds me of how in places like Africa, experienced hunters know big carnivores like lions will give humans a wide berth. Because even what we consider primitive humans are still incredibly dangerous predators, where for example, if a lion kills a human, the other humans will form up and kill every lion in the surrounding area as both revenge and a defense tactic.

This is certainly one of the BEST Predator scenes of all time, I love this movie. The moment where he throws the flare and it hits Tracker in his camo revealing he's right in front of him is soo terrifying and unique! It's why Predators are so scary, they're these huge beasts that want to rip your spine out and wear it as a trophy and they can go invisible so if you're being hunted by one it could very well be standing right behind you. 😬 The atmosphere and overall set design of this scene is amazing too I love the detail throughout the walls of the vessel they are in it really makes it feel alien. I've always thought this movie would be muuuch better on top of how good it already is if Tracker and especially Falconer got some more kills and screen time in, if that was the case this would without a doubt by my favorite Predator film ever and not just tied with the original, but over time I've became more accepting of at least Trackers death in this scene it kinda basically says these things are so resilient the bullets do absolutely nothing and you literally need to blow up entire grenades in their face to stop them from pursuing you. This kind of is contradicted by Falconer just dying to a damn sword but I really have come way more to peace with this scene mostly because of the creativity of it it's probably one of the scariest Predator scenes ever in my opinion and how Tracker was able to easily kill Nolan in the scene just before this so it at least showed him having some skill. All in all great scene and I have watched this movie over and over since I was about 10 years old and I clearly love it since it's been so long I've seen it dozens of times and it's three in the morning where I'm at and I just typed out a comment this long about one scene from it. lol!

Well he used his plasmacaster to kill Nolan, if they wanted to they could easily kill anyone no one would survive but it’s based off honor the less weapons the more honor that’s why they don’t just shoot them sometimes and why the falconer died because he went against honestly the most lethal of the group and falconer was the most honorable of the bad bloods because he chose to duel in melee combat
@@xCzarly yeah that's true. i just wish this movie was a solid hour longer and we got more scenes with the predator dogs and then there could've been more time for each Predator to do their thing as well. Like first tracker is the main one hunting them then falconer then berserker in the end so just like how it is in the movie just more drawn out for each one and more kills for each.
2:28 At this time mark we can see, that bad blood is a coward, who hides behind no bounds (tech, rules, ...) thinking he is superior by doing that, the irony that he died by Nikolai in same manner when Yautja set their gauntlets on self destruct after mortal wounds. And bad blood yells in panic and fright while Nikolai spits at his face saying with smirk and giggle "Quite a face you have!". So in my perspective Nikolai is a predator, and bad blood is prey :D

Semper fidelis Semper Paratus it’s an explosive with one side filled with shot pellets. Basically a flat shotgun shell but with explosives for maximum impact. When it detonates, there isn’t a massive fireball, but there’s a pressure wave that will kick up a bunch of smoke and dust. Right before the pressure wave hits, the target would be showered with the high velocity metal balls.

That wasnt a grenade he had 2 detonators for the two clamores he had on his chest. Also claymores dont explode like that they are based on shrapnel with a small explosive to fire the pellets inside, they dont make giant fireballs.

Not sure if this was intended, but the phrase he says to the Predator in russian is a loose translation of "You are one ugly mf" first said by Dutch in the original AND if memory serves it was also used in at least one of the russian dubs of the original movie.
As often as the Predators use that bullshit self destruct button when they lose, it’s a wonder he wasn’t prepared for it from the Russian.

This scene is one of the most thrilling scenes I have watched of all the movies I have watched in my life. That part when he throws the flame-stick (or whatever it is called) and it is intercepted by this invisible freak. Too good! But on another note, these predators are sore losers to be using invisibility to "hunt" their prey. So much for believing in respect and honour. Lol
Google predator Bad Blood's, these predators in the movie are renegades, and predator who is trapped by them is honorable yautja, thats why he helps main character at the end of the film to kill the remaining bad blood.

like the others said: these three and possibly more, are outcasts. They don't believe in honor or fairness and use unfair tactics to hunt and kill without honor. They also experiment on themselves to become stronger and are seen as unpure by the jungle hunter clans. This is possibly their prison too.

This movie was vastly underrated, it didn’t take the time to flesh out the characters but that’s because they didn’t know each other. But some of them still redeem themselves in character such as the russian and the yakuza. I feel like this movies biggest fault is Adrian Brody as the lead, Hes such a typical action movie character unlike the other characters. He did a Batman voice to seem tough and lone wolf style. I think this movie would have done better without him and used the Spanish sniper as the main lead.
In that way and others its somewhat of an opppsite of predator 1. Tight vs loose crew. Honorable vs dishonorable prey and hunters.

@@J_C_CH Yeah, if you think about he probably would've survived since claymore sent out shrapnel and projectiles in the direction they are pointing. They are literally intended to RIP apart someone's legs or severely wound them to prevent them from say pushing a building or venturing too close to a secure site.
If he had only used the claymore it would've been very likely that he would have lived for a few more minutes, but unlikely as it looks like he was struck in his diaphragm. He was probably unable to breathe and or was hurting a lot, hence the two grenades in his hands.
There may have been a build up of gas. Then again, this was on a space ship. The explosion might have set something flammable off.

Maybe u forgot that these humans that bad bloods had taken are efficient killers on earth themselves. Like what noland said in the movie, one of them may kill one of theirs and it goes on back and forth, the predators they all sent are not all the same so tactics, technology and skills are always different every hunt is made.
And as for the doctor well he is very good predator himself hiding in plain sight among the masses while doing his killing spree. His skills of feigning weakling and backstabbing is also part of being a true predator like how most predators in the wild can beat up prey larger than them like snakes and preying mantis
That's why this movie is hated the predators here are so weak compared to the others but comics novels video games and AVP showed how strong they are
