With me it's kinda reversed, think the last movie was pretty cool and definitely funny
But maybe the problem with predators is that I've seen it like 3 times and it was always cut although it was on TV either at 10 or 11 PM which actually means that R rated movies can be shown completely uncensored and i know this movie isn't a forbidden/banned one but it still gets cut and censored every time it's on TV
Miniguns are not the best at shooting a target. Even at that close the minigun woildn't have been able to stay a still shoot.

Yes and for all the people saying its too hard to keep steady, every second that minigun is putting out about 80 rounds on a particular spot. Even 20 rounds in one spot is going to drive one of those critters back, killing it in the process.
I love how many times they run out of bullets to then have more for their next encounter.

They like to do that in this movie...make you focus on 2-3 characters at a time and then one of them just vanishes, like the other 7 people didn't see that shit.
Single sniper shot, kill. AK burst, kill. Point blank with minigun while spraying for 2mins straight - nothing.
Look at his spray pattern! He goes way to the left and right, not straight on target, and those things dire 3000rds/min. Even with one mounted on a truck or a helicopter has any better accuracy.
ya that was the movies biggest mistake in the Original Predator when the guy grabbed the electric mini gun off the other dead guy and basically leveled the forest that was AWESOME and still standing there with the trigger pulled out of ammo but the barrels continued to spin MORE AWESOME you as the viewer knew they were in serious trouble.
It was a toy minigun. The real one would have shredded those "dogs".
Yet at 0:20, one hit made the creature explode. There's no logic

0:40 - 0:41 You can hear Cuchillo's side arm stop firing, I think here (off screen) his pistol ran out of ammo so he started running a different direction from where Stans and Erwin were running, instead of running back he went right and tried to reload while running, but one of the hellhounds got him and fucked him up offscreen, perhaps a few seconds before the whistle was blown, and that's why the hounds were called away, cos they had killed one of them.

6000 RPM handheld 7.62x51mm NATO is very difficult to control my guy. M14 on full auto is uncontrollable and that was ~800RPM. That's why miniguns are usually used while mounted. This russian spetsnaz guy fires from the hip (no aiming aid), so the only way to track the bullet is to see where they land. But to an extent, I agree with you. In that range he should've been able to hit those hounds, because he's a Spetsnaz right?
@@verdugo7974 it is physically impossible to hold a 6000 RPM electric mini gun, In the Original Predator Jesse pulled it off because he is a mountain of muscles and well he made it look extra cool. now a side note in the movie Black Hawk down they had mini guns on those blackhawks question is with the chopper crashed they will not work because the power source "the black hawk" is dead or would they have a alternate power source to power the mini gun even for a limited time?

Stop picking apart the movie and just enjoy it. I've seen all four Predator movies and I have liked all of them for different reasons. Just because one is really good doesn't mean the others are bad. And it's aliens for goodness sake, I doubt everything is going to be realistic.

Yeah, them spraying bullets everywhere at the start probably made it tougher on the sniper. Should’ve left it to her, then when the thing got close, left it to the minigun. But seems like they were all spooked being on another planet, hunted by aliens, and seeing the freaky monster dogs.

Pro Robert A “real soldier”. A delta force guy if I’m not mistaken was in the film. He died by getting his chest blown the fuck out. “Real soldiers” don’t apply when you’re fighting a predator..

This is such a great movie. Such a unique idea, for a movie. Let alone a movie that takes place in that Universe. 👍
I still remember the first time seeing it, it completely blew me away, because it's MUCH better than any of the other sequels, with the exception of maybe Part 2, with Danny Glover.
I've always considered the first two Predator movies to be original "Canon," in my head, until I saw this one. Now all but those three are, to me, no more than fan films.
Adrien Brody is perfect to played David of The Last of Us. 😉

The first beast withstands the combined firepower of all their weapons including a minigun that puts out 6000 rounds a minute, then a minute later they're killing them with a few shots from their individual weapons. Who writes this shit.

Sure, they're likely to develop PTSD in the future, but during combat, they fight properly, or they die, simple as that. Also, don't use other movies as a point of reference for human behavior, it's stupid.

Contrast this with the scene in the original after the death of Blaine where they mow down half of the Costa Rican jungle & hit nothing. The tension released by all the shooting, followed by the realisation that all their firepower is worthless against the invisible enemy. I don't understand how you could fail to make a half-decent movie with such a masterful blueprint to follow.

When will Hollywood ever make a movie that is consistent in terms of weapons and abilities? Most movies start with a bang but after about 20 minutes they start pleading for the audience to be completely ignorant of all the established rules. It's like the script writers and the directors went completely brain dead at that point in filming.
Firepower is the crutch of the unskilled.

The first one took 8000 rounds to put down, the second one only took one shot!
Different ammo types. Brody was probably using explosive rounds from what you see the dog explode and later in the Predators camp, and the others are using 9mm (Hanzo and Trejo character), and the 7.62 of the AK47 does a lot of damage at close range.
