Sir one question: I am eating flavoured protein to meet my nutritional requirements but then realised it's chemical based because it's flavoured. Now I have two options either I throw it or purchase new one without flavour and dilute flavoured one with unflavoured to get most out of it. Is it a good option or I shall eliminate f laboured one completely ? Pls help

Being a Nutritionist I have been advocating Nutrition Science on various platforms . Infact it should be a compulsary subject in schools unlike Social Science . This will take a time but Corona has taught everyone to look into what their intake is to enhance the immunity . Kudos to both of you. I could very much relate to what Ryan speaks but unfortunately in early 90s we did not have nutri-genetics as a subject . Lovely to hear him .

I hope this mans lives for 150 years. I think he thinks so. There is nothing wrong in anything humans eat. As long as they eat in MODERATION. No food will kill you. But even water will kill you - in excess. So eat whatever you want HAPPILY.

Truly amazing conversation with Ryan which is very insightful and informative about human health. The best part of the interview is that he talks everything like a story teller not just referring to only hard medical data or statistics to prove his point of view but also embodied him being an example of what he is preaching about. Indeed, Ryan shared his knowledge, wisdom and understanding about the mechanics of human body with his audience in a very entertaining way. It’s truly laudable and inspiring. Thanks for sharing this interview on TH-cam.

Its from my personal experience , I don't remember the last time I had any food with processed/ unnatural sugar - even the thought of jalebi will not enter in your head when you quit white sugar totally , it's means no sugary food for 3 months - with this thought you will also have to quit all pckt food , bec everything on this earth which is processed is with added sugar - believe me life change when you quit sugar in total .

Nobody asked for your opinions...the problem isn't with the rice or bread but it's with all the toxic pesticides that is being put into that to meet the demands of growing population....in ancient times...food was not genetically modified...it's was not produced with tons of chemicals..that is why our grannies were good eating that

As a certified fitness nutritionist and health coach, I share so many similar views with what Ryan just spoke. I ordered my genetic testing kit recently and waiting to send the sample..can't wait to learn more about my body. I also highly recommended HTMA to understand mineral ratios. I got it done in the past and the results were shocking because the regular blood work never showed it. Unfortunately, coming to supplementation - most doctors themselves aren't well aware of why we need supplements and often ignore it. I share my stance on this with Traya because the quality of food we eat isn't the same as in the past..not everyone can afford high quality food and also eating foods that meet the RDA for important minerals and vitamins is very challenging when we consume OMAD or 2 meals a day. Hence, to fill the nutritional gaps - supplements are very helpful. Magnesium and omega 3 are my go to for many years. Lovely podcast.

It’s a fabulous episode with Mr Ryan no doubt but I would like to give a suggestion that you should do this in Hindi language, coz if this is for India most of the people still don’t understand english much. For instance as a daughter I always suggest healthy food to my father but he never change his diet so now I wanted to forwarded this episode to my father but I can’t because he always has trouble with english. And as these elders never go easy they need proof or we can say they never gonna believe me becoz i m his child i know nothing so u know I want to show them what experts says. conclusion : In Hindi language please. 😊😊

Nobody, not even specialists knew about the problems caused by wheat consumption before! I actually found out that my life long digestive issues was caused by wheat consumption totally be accident. I wanted to loose weight. Someone who had lost weight told me that if I stop eating wheat products, I will also loose weight, so I stopped eating that two slices of whole-wheat bread I was always eating in the morning and whithin two days I found that my digestive issues subsided! Please note that I already knew that eating wheat during the day makes me feel tired, so I did not consume wheat products like pasta, bread etc, during the day as otherwise I would become very sleepy at work in the afternoons.

We must increase awareness about healthy eating and highlight the disadvantages of junk food. It's crucial to educate people on what truly constitutes a healthy diet. However, I sometimes feel that change is challenging. We live in a world where, despite knowing that alcohol and smoking are harmful, these products continue to be sold, contributing significantly to the economy. Consumption is increasing, even as warnings about health risks are clearly printed on cigarette packages. This paradox illustrates the difficulty of enacting widespread change. While it may be difficult to transform the entire world, we can focus on changing individuals. If people understand the importance of their health, they can make better choices and become advocates for spreading this awareness.

I am a vegetarian, from south india, I used to eat roti occassionally, and then I started eating roti and peanut butter as my pre workout meal. I did stopped in between for weeks and I have not found or observed any changes in my body. Is it safe to assume that I am not gluten intolerant? Also I made seitan, (Wheat gluten- Vegan Meat) and had no problems the next day.

Traya's diet plan recommends eating wheat chapati, which contains gluten. For individuals with gluten sensitivity or celiac disease, this should be adjusted to a gluten-free alternative.

Why do people think that celebrities are 100% the best in everything, health, knowledge......false. There are lots of healthy simple people on the planet who live better healthy lives than celebrities. Please note "healthy" cannot be misunderstood or overrated!
