I always thought we'd be together And that our love could not be better Well with no warning you were gone I still don't know what went wrong You don't know what I've been through Just want to put my love in you No more nights Of blood & fire All those special memories Now I bleed for you - burn for me Perhaps I was just dreaming When I think these things had real meaning You don't know what I've been through Just want to put my love in you Love eternal Lust infernal Bleeding, burning Needing, yearning I see your face in every flame With no answers I have only myself to blame Of all the women I have know - they're not you I'd rather be alone No more nights Of blood & fire
OH MY GAWD. This song is EPIC. I have the Mortal Kombat and Mortal Kombat Annihilation Cd's and this is definitely one of the best songs out of the two. This is a very good break up song to listen to. Very deep lyrics, awesome vocals, and pretty sick jammin' toon. :)
I still haven't figured out whether I like this song since it was in the MK movie or that I liked the MK movie because this song was in it. Anyway it's a brilliant song and definitively better then the original album version if you ask me.
This was the song (and version) that made me look at this band some years ago. I became a fan ever since. This is still my fav Type O jam. R.I.P. Peter
I would love 2 get with people. To make type o music but just 2 say no won can make music like them all u can do is try but it will never compare they were the greatest
such a great song i love type-o, i have been looking for the name of the song that is playing at the start of the mortal kombat movie when they are in the night club an sonya blade is looking for kano. it's driving me crazy so if anyone knows i'd appreciate the help.
@rejectorphanageX Actually this is a revamped version, possibly re-recorded 'Out Of The Ashes' mix specifically for the MK soundtrack. The original isn't as cool as this.
This was the version that was included on the Mortal Kombat movie soundtrack. I'm not sure if they did this version specifically FOR the movie, but I always enjoyed this version better.
@FutureWarhead i totally agree. i heard this version before i heard the album version and im glad that i did. this is just so much better. like they thought of all the ways they could improve the song and then did it.
yeah i heard this song back when i bought the soundtrack after i saw the movie, on cassette!! lol , and i am glad i heard this version before the original too
@thecaptainof1976 i'm glad i heard this before the original, otherwise i probably wouldn't have started listening to type o. This was my first type o song and i've loved then ever since.
I love both versions of this song, but this version is a lot heavier than the original. Type O Negative have been one of my favorite bands since high school. I got to meet Peter Steele 10 years ago. I still can't believe he's gone. Peter Steele R.I.P.
so for some reason I ve been really wanting to listen to T o N after like 7 years of not. The n when i start looking them up I find that Peter Steele is dead! WTF! Its like they were calling me lol
This song is pure epic!! Wonderful memories and a great voice to be remembered for all time!

I always thought we'd be together
And that our love could not be better
Well with no warning you were gone
I still don't know what went wrong
You don't know what I've been through
Just want to put my love in you
No more nights
Of blood & fire
All those special memories
Now I bleed for you - burn for me
Perhaps I was just dreaming
When I think these things had real meaning
You don't know what I've been through
Just want to put my love in you
Love eternal
Lust infernal
Bleeding, burning
Needing, yearning
I see your face in every flame
With no answers I have only myself to blame
Of all the women I have know - they're not you
I'd rather be alone
No more nights
Of blood & fire

I don’t know the history of this group. This mix so much better than the original. Did they get a new singer or did this guy step in for this mix?
This was the version that was included on the Mortal Kombat movie soundtrack. I'm not sure if they did this version specifically FOR the movie, but I always enjoyed this version better.

The organ in the beginning is so catchy it's been stuck in my head since pre-first. I'm 26 now. f'ing TON
This is the best version of this song. The other one doesn't flow well with the other songs.
Dragon Ball Z KAI... At least Kenji Yamamoto had good taste in music.
