Oh I soo wish we could really say some of these things to parents!!!!
The last bit reminded of an animated short film a student made called a man in the woods. Its very well done and wonderfully animated.

Wasn’t able to say “no” or negatively frame corrections. If I kid bit another kid for example. We were under no circumstances supposed to say “no biting” instead we were supposed to say “that’s not a smart choice you can bite this instead” needless to say I couldn’t exist like that
The dead body situation actually kind of happened at my school. The kids thought they saw a dead body right on the other side of the playground fence. (I thought it was one too.) A homeless man had wrapped his blanket in a long roll and put his hat at the top and shoes at the bottom. Not one parent asked about it, yet I am sure the kids told them.
The only difference between this and my experience is my administrator did not wear a baseball hat. 😄

CPS immediately, the child was drunk
