A million years ago, I ate paper in second grade. We had a sub who looked like a witch--frizzy hair, pointed chin, big hook nose--and I was scared of her. Bear in mind she did nothing to any of us. I was just a seven-year-old. I was sent to the nurse's office, where I called my mom (long before cell phones). She asked what was wrong. I told her I felt nauseous. She asked why. I mentioned the paper thing. Without hesitation she said, "Well, too bad. You did this to yourself. I'm not coming to get you". Tough love is REAL love. That woman never once cosigned my BS.
@@h.b16 This was in 1957. The entire world was different. Being a teacher means sometimes having to deal with a sick child. Too bad you feel so put upon. Compassion is a good thing, especially for a sick child.
As long as she didn't choke it isn't worth interrupting the parents at work, just like we don't like when parents interrupt the class lessons for any little thing.
Suzie passed a note ❣🤣
Love the play on words! 😅
That last bag snap was personal 😂
Love your channel. Had to laugh today as I put my new purse over my arm and keys jingled, and I felt the need to jerk my purse like Mrs. Smith.😂😂
You are so creative! I would have loved for you to be a teacher for my children! ❤

Yeah but then the teacher has to deal with you if you get sick. As a teacher, I’m not dealing with that.

OOOH! Cosigning my BS! Mind if I use that?
@@rickraber1249 Please do! I'd be honored.
what did the nurse say also good job for standing up for Susie! 🥳
Yep!! Knew that was coming sooner or later!
Great collection.
I can’t wait to use, “do you ever hear yourself, like the words you string together to make sentences?”
How could a mother believe a teacher would ask a child to eat glass?? The child would be dead!!
A lot of people in this world are real stupid. And they have kids who are about as stupid. That's how.
Well, what kind of a mother give a child a glass container to take to school.
you are just a hoot. 🤣

Are all these stories true?😂 and did one mother actually do everything Mrs Smith did?😂 I need to know!
Yep. If a child really had eaten glass, they wouldn’t have lived long enough to tell you. Unfortunately, even the doctors can’t fix stupid.
Poor Mrs. L. and Susie. How ridiculous can one parent be? I wanted to say Mrs. Smith is an idiot but thought that unkind, true but unkind. 😊
That particular truth is not unkind. It's just the truth.
Who the heck sends freaking glass with a small child to school in the first place????
When I was a kid my lunch money was stolen so I ate paper for lunch for a week
😂😂😂
I think Mrs Smith really meant to hit you with that purse action. Silly woman that could get her an assault charge as well as a kid who ate paper.
