I like that old country song... “Here's a quarter call someone who cares...”. The teacher needs to have that song set up on her phone so she can play it quickly everytime a parent gives some lame excuse. And Johnny Paycheck's “Take this job and shove it”, everytime the principal says something stupid. 👵☮️🖖
You don’t use an epy pen for gluten , diary ( not sure about soy ) allergies I so wish that were the case. I am Celiac and diary intolerance . I do agree that schools and restaurants need to be more accommodating to allergies
From my understanding intolerance is different then an allergy. An allergy if severe enough you would need an EpiPen while for an insensitivity as my son has but we thought it was an allergy at some point or an intolerance it affects your body differently.
Not to be argumentative... but that skit.. My sister was a nanny. She was with the same family full time for over 12 years. She was a much a parent as their bio parents (maybe more, considering their jobs and the fact that she generally spent more time with the kids than their parents. Not that they were absent, according to my sister they made SURE to spend at least an hour a day with them, always did all their bedtime everything, and every Sunday spent the whole day with the kids doing STUFF, making memories. But my sister still doesn't the bulk of their at home awake hours with them the other 6 days a week) The youngest was 11 when she got married and switched to part time while the kids got therapy about her leaving (she did the part time for almost 8 months) Kids get attached - I mean, you've seen it as a teacher, and that's like 7 or 8 hours a day for only 9 months. But a good, full time nanny? Is THERE, again, like another parent. Doesn't excuse HOW the kid acted out, but yeah, grief was legitimately possible (also doesn't excuse that mother's BS - she was upset she had to get a job? And if she hadn't been working, why the nanny?!)
When I was teaching preschool, there was more than one time that a kid's mom's thong would be stuck to the child's blanket and we would find it at nap time. Was always fun giving it back to the embarrassed mother when they picked up LOL
That poor purse really takes a beating.
I'm not even close to being PC enough to work in the school system now. My hat's off to you. You're a brave soul.
I'd love to hear your definition of PC
Love the highlight reels!

Good Point, it's only October now and my students were bawling because I had to leave sick early today!

When you, I mean she, said she pays your salary you should’ve tossed a quarter at her and responded, here’s your input back.
Stop doing that
