- In todays video we go to the Alabama Truck Meet. This is we they had a Dyno for all trucks. So we threw my buddies truck on the dyno and we were super impressed with the truck we have built! 600hp. Lmfao. That gen 1 truck is going to need huge turbos, e85 and a shot nitrous to make that. I needed a good laugh today
For reference, my '13 eco literally had every available mod available including the turbos, I made 486hp/568tq when I dyno'd it in Denver a few years ago.

Elevation is a huge factor
I know this is old but I’m doing the same to my 2012 with Garrett Powermax, BD manifolds, catless 3” into 4” MBRP, hot/cold charge pipes, Atlas intercooler, Melling HP oil pump, AFE Stage 2 intake, 170° stat, BCB custom data log tune,etc etc. I’ve been told that all I can expect is about 500-550hp total.
Did you do anything to your fuel system, i.e. HPFP bigger injectors, meth, anything else? Or did you have all that that I’m doing and still got 468?

@@jimmydiamond75 I had turbos, CAC, AFE intake, 170 stat, DP, 3" exhaust, throttle body, bigger lift pump and meth. At the time there weren't any additional fueling goodies unfortunately. I probably could have made more after I sent Mike my Dyno sheet, he updated my tune.
Yea these are inflated numbers on the video. Your only cracking over 500hp if you have bigger turbos and fuel system.

Aftermarket turbos i went 5mm bigger
Cam phaser lockouts
Forged rods and pistons
Bored 5 over
93octane race tune
It makes 27lbs of boost maxed out
Its sitting at 495 to the wheels and 502 lb
I blew the motor up thats why i have the rods and pistons i figured id go bigger when rebuilding it

I like how everyone calls an ecoboost a lawnmower but they make better power and better economy

I absolutely love these EcoBoost trucks. I have the '13 fx4 f150 EcoBoost. Sadly my heat shield on my exhaust rattling like crazy. No time to fix the damn thing.

Agree. I have the same truck and it's at 395 HP stock. With a cai, 4" catless downpipe and 4" catback plus a tune I would say these would make a difference.

Not measuring 1:1 gear ratio. Can hear the truck shift down. Numbers are not accurate. Try running it in manual mode not auto. Dynos only measure torque and calculate horsepower. Shift down, torque goes up and HP is calculated higher.

That actually looked like 1606hp to the wheels, better double check that dyno plot...
Every pull had a shift spike in it. Look at the graph around the shift spike and you'll see the true power. Don't these trucks have a manual mode? Obviously we don't get to see the graph....
It makes 365hp stock. Adding the mods you listed would get you a little over 400hp max. That would not spike your HP and torque up that much with such little mods
He’s probably missing the fuel upgrade. Because with said mods they can make a little over 500 to the wheel easily. They’re well know for that, but 606? Nah he has to be on E85 or bored turbos.
It has everything done to it but a intercooler I think it has a cold air intake and a cold air intake a BOV oh did I say cold air intake makes 900hp we are really pleased with that cold air intake

Did y’all do any internal upgrades or anything like that? Cause I have MBRP careless downpipe, 3inch catback side exit exhaust, cold air intake, and SCT X4. Could my truck make the same power on stock internals?

Brother I wish your truck made that much because that would mean mine would make 700hp. When you dyno your truck if it has 3.55 gears you should run it from 2K-6K in 3rd gear manual. When the dyno operator hammered it, it down shifted to 2nd...heck maybe 1st. Definitely gave you some hp and tq spikes, but they aren’t true rwhp and tq numbers. Like I said though....I wish because mine would have more then yours! Lol

I have a red f150 2011 platinum twin turbo and i made 410 but there is no way he made 600 hp unless he is high
2nd gen 3.5 2017s have a different inter cooler on them. Should never have to drain it

It's possible, I've seen a 3.5 with stock turbos hit 700hp to the wheels with an upgraded intercooler, fuel system and exhaust, just because you can't accept a v6 being more powerful than your 15 year old v8 doesn't make the results false
I don't know about that y'all didn't run into it any ignition or running out of fuel problems I didn't think stock coils or fuel pressure would get you numbers that high
It wasnt in a 1 to 1 gear he was probibly in 3rd or 4th im not sure what gear is 1 to 1 ratio on this truck. Thats also why your torque was so much higher than your hp. When from the factory they were pretty cIose. I work at a dyno/speed shop for a living and i see this all the time when deternming the 1/1 gear real hp numbers are probibly 480 to 500hp and about that in torque
This looked like a Dynojet, those don't measure torque and then back-calculate power based on gear ratios to estimate engine rpm, they directly measure power by measuring how long it took the vehicle to accelerate a roller of known mass to a given speed. Vehicle gear selected does not change the accuracy of the power it produced. What happened here was clearly a shift spike. If that was Dunbar's dyno, I am fully confident that he told them that. No doubt the graph has a huge shift spike and the dude is using those values on the spike.
no way that's any where close too 600 I think MPT performance would know anyone who owns a ecoboost f150 knows who MPT. That stock motor would be in chunks before it gets close to 600

Truck is more than capable of 600 wheel hp but with those mods not even close my 15 tuarus sho has way more mods and not hitting that number

Shit I showed real time numbers with only making 300rwhp on my 3v even tho that was embarrassing considering what I have done lol but we had problems with fuel and my tuner jumped out the truck saying it so I got both on video . Difference is that my numbers came from a mustang dyno not a free flowing junk dyno and that was before my intercooler And on only 18psi not 20psi like most other tuned truck and I still have ran 13.5@102 spinning with a 2.1 60ft. So once again you're an idiot. It's called wheel hp. Fords numbers are crank hp. Yes if I ran 20+psi (and a bit more timing with an e30 mix, incase you say 2psi won't add 50hp/50tq)like others I'd be around 400hp/500tq. So I'm like 50hp/50tq short. I know the Tremor didn't come in the 15+ aluminum body. It only came in '14. That's irrelevant to this topic. And for you to say my facts are wrong because I didn't list every new item that's new on the gen 2 3.5 just shows even more how you're an idiot. Ford calls this EcoBoost “all new,” and indeed it carries over only the old engine’s bore center dimension, piston displacement, and cylinder liners. The block is new, the turbos are new, the cooling system (which features new flow paths and a higher-volume, higher-rate water pump) is new, and the fuel-delivery system now employs both direct and port injectors for improved emissions and more power.
