chapter 0: "UGH, you want me to level and use this furry thing? And it's a guy?!?! No way in hell guys" chapter 7: "Spot; Spot NEEEDS TO BE SOMEWHERE, RIGHT? Here we go..." 5:58
Really nice clear on 7-11! That one is tricky to get all through box placements right. One tip for stages like that is that Ethan can do a ton of damage when you are having that many enemies funnel through the same place. He tends to kill off the weak guys which helps your blockers not get overwhelmed, and any binds just hurt even more because of the bleed.
On roadblock stages, if an enemy is close to an exit, you can remove a roadblock by that exit and instead place a new one right in the path of that enemy, their AI will reroute them to walk all the way back to go through that newly opened path. And you can continue to abuse their AI like this so long as you have roadblocks to spare.
If you see a Robin in your support line up give her a try see if she's to your taste, since she's also a trapmaster like Dorothy. If you end up liking her you can get her as the welfare from the Mansfield Break side story. Or if you're not opposed to spending real life cash on the game, there's a 6* selector in the shop for the next 3 days for 30 bucks. It's called "Rhodes Island Headhunting Pack".
7-9 is one of a skill checks for player. I remember struggling with the start, because these dogs had some insane damage, and then there's dogs on the left, and then there's more on the right...
i remember looking up a guide for that first stage haha that one was so brutal. good job bro, dorothy in a clutch. glad you found out about her she is a fun unit that gets overlooked a lot
You’re doing great man, i don’t know if you’re willing to spend money on the game, but there is currently a 6-star selector in the shop for 30 dollars for a few days if you want Dorothy, if you don’t want to, she will probably be avaible in the golden certificate shop after a few month for 180 golden certs so if you save up for a while you should be able to get her! I hope you keep having fun with the game!
One guy. That says it all doesn't it. All the effort only for one enemy to mess it all up. One guy. I'm in the same situation right now even with a guide. Currently leveling up my squad to see if that helps. Keep up the great work, sir. Also yes Dorothy is a great character. I don't have her but hopefully both of us will eventually.
Oh yeah, I didn't know if you know this already, but the hooded guys with the aura are buffers, they're the reason the guys with the glowing helmets hit so hard. If you can take them out early, it'll make things a lot easier
if you want Dorothy, unlock the Mansfield Break event and get Robin, she plays pretty similar to Dorothy that is to say last chance to use your two weekly event unlocks if you haven't yet
You're about to hit the harder part of main story, where e1 is not enough to pass. Focus on your base and play IS/RA for free reward with no sanity needed
Seeing you make good use of Dorothy trying to strongarm every level in the game gives a nice gameplay perspective compared to my turtling habits of not doing the Main Story to grind all the Events I missed and coming back way over-leveled.
5:19 this is bc Ws placement covers the "high value" tiles where enemies stack up in front of defenders, covering even 1 of these "high value" tiles is much more valuable than covering a lot of tiles with no melee ops blocking. This concept is much more impactful when using ranged units with AoE
You made me revisit 7-12 and turns out i haven't done many of the challenge stages of the main story 😂 And thank god, i did it first try using 4* only, feels good to know at least I'm not dumbed down that much after wisadel 😂
Clay, have you tried Logos S2? The way his S1 works usually require you to have him at E2 (it requires the biggest ATK possible to be effective) Give his S2 a try or three and see if you like it
I actually just recorded an episode where I switched to S2 and amazing things happened. People told me to switch back to S1 and I feel like I have been missing out on DPS since then.
@@ClayChoShow TBF his S1 is really good... Once you get him at a very high level, give it M3 and equip his module The way it works is that it will instakill any enemy below a certain % of his atk and it will deal some more damage to another random enemy, but you need all that jazz before you can explode anything stronger than a critter xD
Here's some tips to save sanity: if you feel like you want to redo a stage, quit before the stage end because clearing a stage with 1 or 2 star will cost you the full sanity cost but failing or quitting the stage only cost 1 sanity (except in hard mode)
Drop Fang and Myrtle, pick up a couple Pioneer vanguards. Chargers have 1 block and only generate DP when they get a kill...IF they get a kill. Pioneers have 2 block and generate DP when their skill activates. That will solve your issues with not having enough block and also give you more reliable DP generation. Myrtle is also not ideal for a relatively young account, despite having high DP generation, since she not only has 1 block but also has ZERO block during her skill. For an early game account, it's much more valuable to have the constant 2 block than the slightly more DP. I guarantee people will disagree with me about Myrtle. But they forget that none of them played the early game with Myrtle because she wasn't even released yet, so they don't realize how she actually affects the new player experience. And yes, I understand that it will require resources that you dont have currently
2:48 well gg, anyway, take a look at the altar range next time, if Gummy was 1 tile left from where you put her, she wouldn't have taken damage from the altar, improving healing.
5:44 : pretty sure a LOT of people told you that already, but no Amiya can't do "some healing" if there's no enemy in her range: she heald by hitting enemies (that's what incantation medics do) so no enemies in range = no healing. 6:28 : Pretty sure "I" told you that in another video, but no Doro is clearly not that strong, Ela of the same archetype for example is miles better and usually Dorothy is only decent for stages with lots of weak enemies, but like pretty much all operators in the game. (it's a good early pick in IS though, but she struggles in comparison to other six star specialists like Texas Alter, Yato Alter, Ela, Specter Alter and so on) Good luck with Patriot btw!
Just curious: How does he unlocked Amiya Medic variant when he hasn't finish JT8-2, which is in the next chapter, Chapter 8. Can you unlock Amiya's Medic variant after you finish Chapter 14?
Chapter 14 was available to everyone for a couple weeks. So anyone who logged on during that time were able to play an easier version of chapter 14 and get the rewards for completing it.
one of the biggest noob mistakes i see is putting out 3 block tanks first. It's usually vanguard -> dps -> healer-> tanks OR it's Centurion/lord/guards -> ranged dps/vanguard -> healer -> tank basically kill them before they kill you I would advise E2ing a Centurion because they do give you a 3 block with aoe dps
Day 16228 of me suggesting to switch Gummy with Nearl ik u said in Quirks stream its difficult to lvlup, but since you already invested Ifrit, I also reccomemd saving up for the Lone Trail event, sonu can pull for Saria which is even better
Now i feel pissed at myself. You are farther into the story than i am with my 78 level... i know you skip the story part but i don't, but still... i postponed playing the story too much... let's fucjlking crush your lead!!
Couldn't even edge to this one. Just straight up gooned.
I thought you only had eyes for Gummy?
Lol it's actually him

@@ClayChoShow Robin is obviously not as good as Dorothy, but i still built her and she's pretty nice. I hope you'll like her!
Ethan bind + 0 block count is extremely good for stages that makes the enemies bleed out as long as he isn’t being killed by ranged enemies.
by the way, theres a character pretty similar to dorothy you can unlock in a side story named robin
