Nice to finally get a game that uses Unreal Engine 5! 😁 And I'm on a 7900XTX and 7950X3D (which ensures speedy rendering of the video, after playing) I don't use headphones for this, but I have surround sound speakers, which I'm sure the neighbours love 😉
I played it about 2 hours on my PC tonight (i7 4,7 GHz, 32 GB DDR4, RTX 2070 8GB, m.2 SSD, Sony WH-1000xm4 Headphones) and I can say this game is magic! The visuals are the best I`ve had in a game.
I've seen voice actors voiced acted the characters in the video game. But Melina Juergens voice acted Senua of her own face as well her own voice too. That's a badass!
That's up to them, but true senua fans with play all the way through , the first hellblade was a jewel in the rough, this one everyone will love or not ...all fans will play it and enjoy, no matter what non senua fans will say or have said already
Nah. Ff7 Rebirth looks just as nice as this game. Hellblade may have a slight edge but considering it's only a 10hour game I would expect that. This is really more of a tech showcase than a game. But it'll be cool.

A game can be even 2 hours, doesn't mean isn't a game. It's a true next gen game, just because it has many accessibility improvements, and the graphics on console it has, it just Amazing... So stop your console wars and start playing games.
If anyone remembers way back in the early 2000s we made a graphical leap to hdtv. I was in middle school and remember being blown away by what games were looking like. I’m getting a bit of that feeling again watching this. UE5 might be a game changer.

Not really realistic Big RPGs have way too much content and characters to make that feasible and the world structure (persistent NPCs and size) would get you horrible performance.

Yeah they probably will because this ain't making its cost back on gamepass Gamepass inspires low cost high return titles as it's execs who have all the say (you don't support games , you support Xbox paying for gamepass they determine how your money is used and what it funds NOT YOU) What these execs want is too be spending less and earning more.......and how do you do that 1.lower cost of development resulting in lower quality smaller scale games 2.increase monetisation by adding microtransactions so at least the game is still bringing in money despite people having access to it as part of they monthly charge 3.increase gamepass prices and hope people aren't willing to give up the access to the library of games they have gotten used to To anyone supporting gamepass really think about what your supporting and ask your self which will result in better games......you supporting the studios that make the games you enjoy or Xbox execs deciding what games you should have access too

Their next game should be a German soldier in WWII, wakes up after being knocked unconscious by mortar fire, and doesn't know who he is or why he is there. He tries to flee the battlefield, but even his own people fire upon him, as he tries to evade death, he realizes everyone is his enemy, so he makes a run for the forest.. and so begins the psychological issues of having amnesia in the middle of a war like WWII, and the survival required to escape as he pieces together the lost portions of his memory and makes his way home across the country side of a foreign land.. as his memories unfold, he remembers how much he opposed the Führer and the entire ideology, how his life was upended by the Reich... the ending could be something like he hunts down the Führer, or he makes it home to his family and homestead... I dunno... but the Hellblade model has made this idea of a game like this possible. I dream of this game. I've dreamed it many times. This studio would KNOCK IT OUT OF THE PARK.

its not full ray / path tracing. its not full realistic imersiv. is. more a problem with the LUMEN,the aproxymanation system.. its limited on what the lightsystem Lumen can handle, not in the last update to day but near in the last year... new patch/ Updates are not in the game.. there some limitation specially in open aras and closed too,.. and limitations with a lot of light objects, smoke/ fire etc..
Philnochio is going to be happy but since the game is going to be disastrous at 25fps and it has had a bad campaign after Ninja Theory closed a few weeks, oh but before that they will release it on PlayStation to see if it sells anything, end of another IP.
It was going to be a next-gen game. But we're already 4 years into the 'next-gen' era, so it'll be current-gen game. The next gen games have just started development. So maybe we'll see them in another 4 years. But, by then, they'll be classed as current-gen again ;)
ps5 Consols are now last gen.... upscalling can maybe help a little bit but this is full scale next gen near all in full throttle power up what you can title

Hellblade 2 is running 5.4 how? It was revealed few month ago I doubt they had time to remake the whole game to work or at least to leverage 5.4 in any meaningful way.

I mean you may know more than Digital Foundry but Alex talked about the ammount of work it took EPIC to update Matrix:Awakens demo. Another hint could be that even though the landscape is very Island like the game doesnt use nanite for alpha particles (again that's what Digital Foundry said) which was added in 5.3. Maybe you will surpise me on thuesday, but I doubt it. Anyway it should be amazing looking game.

It's harder for the devs the other way around. But Melina's face doesn't break my sense of immersion, so no problem. She is Senua for me.😊

@@rocheneljeanbaptiste3604 It's not about who helped them month before production. If you do any developement job the code in already in prod v1.0. They just working mostly on optimization and bugs. I mean you may know more than Digital Foundry but Alex talked about the ammount of work it took EPIC to update Matrix:Awakens demo. Another hint could be that even though the landscape is very Island like the game doesnt use nanite for alpha particles (again that's what Digital Foundry said) which was added in 5.3.
Maybe you will surpise me on thuesday, but I doubt it. Anyway it should be amazing looking game.

On gamepass and you expecting it too sell well......this studios days are numbered you don't even get it , it's not about sales they only concern is gamepass growth if they don't see mass growth in subscriptions then you wanna worry
High Fi rush didn't move the needle that's why that studio is gone gamepass growth has slowed to a practical halt I don't see this changing anything
Hopefully more and more people are realizing just how anti consumer gamepass is and they see some loss so they can get back to focusing on selling games not manipulating they audience through subscription
