Came here looking for a review on Shingeki no Kyojin, ended up getting a bonus lesson in ancient Greek philosophy. Seriously though, I loved the video. I'm really looking forward to understanding what made Eren turn the switch over these past 3 years. Eren went from loving, driven, hopeful, passionate and friendly, to gloomy, emotionless, gothic and rude
Second half of S3 and S4 are peak AoT in my opinion, the first 2 seasons can’t really explain the complexity of this series. Here we finally realise there’s no right or wrong, only different nations with different goals. People are born and automatically must follow those systems rules and ambitions, as well as they’re immediately labeled by other nations as “inferior” or “enemy” - exactly like real life conflicts, war, politics and even racism. The way we are on Eren, Armin and Mikasa’s sides regardless what happens is proof that we are built on top of what society teach us - in this case, what this anime teaches us. Only S4 makes us rethink about our original choices. Great job!! :’) ... But please... don’t get too attached to (...) EHEHEHEH
You haven't realized yet but the whole point of the story is *For Mikasa to accept Eren's inevitable fate, Break the curse and free Ymir from agony of love.*
Your videos are awesome! I just found out your channel by the Final Fantasy VII remake video and decided to have a look on this one about Attack on Titan, an anime that love. Man, your videos are absolutely amazing! I'm subscribed on your channel now, I'm excited to watch your next videos. Thanks for the excellent content. Appeals to me a lot! :)
Nah honestly i think AOT from chapters 1 to 131 doesnt really have notable flaws it makes iseyama look like a modern shakespeare. The flaws in the writing start after that

SnK a masterpiece? I dont get the joke. Typing this before watching, let's see if the video will change my mind Great video, only after did I realize that it said "so far", I am not sure if I agree or not but I definitely won't call it a masterpiece overall after the HUGE letdown that the final chapters are. But great video I loved it, not using empty words, I really loved it!
@@jay7166 early art and character writing is bad, rumbling arc as a whole is questionable not just 139 With that being said, AoT can still be perfect for you. I just wouldn't agree lol
Tbh, I don't care about Attack on Titan anymore, I lost complete interest in the series in season 2, it just became unbearable to watch because it was unbelievable boring, but... That doesn't mean your video is, quite the contrary. You're probably the ever first person that I watch on TH-cam who has made a conection between The Breakfast Club and anime and especially and how you felt in a moment of your life. I find that extremely interesting. You use and focuses on so many shots of Andrew (Emilio Estevez), particularly when he opens to the others and how much he hates bullying a poor kid just becase his dad told him to. Why did you choose to focus on said character? It is because you somehow felt like him, being drawn into many a situation where you were unhappy and uncomfortable and felt so out of place? Or was it because you were comparing him to the person you allude to at the beginning of your video, that person who didn't care for anime because it isn't real? If I have to guess I would go with the former rather than the later. And it's great to see that you do care about such a great movie. It would very cool to see your personal approach to The Breakfast Club. I know your channel is about anime, but that doesn't mean that you have exclusively to talk about it. I'd welcome that any day. Btw: thanks for reviewing the recent season of this anime. At least I know what has happened. (It would also be neat to hear your thoughts about that, as many ppl are disappointed about Attack on Titan. As I said, I lost interest a while back, but I do like to hear ppl's opinion on the matter).
Just want to say that I really enjoyed reading your comment. My best response to that is that I used Andrew as a vessel for myself. He is sharing his most personal issues in the film and I was expressing myself in a similar manner. And it connected well with the idea of society forcing us to do something we don’t want to do. Andrew doesn’t want to be forced by his father to always be number 1. Similar to how I was forced in my life to be someone I’m not. It was a correlation that I found intriguing and helped further my thoughts. And I do intend to analyse movies that aren’t just anime. I love The Breakfast Club and I hope to talk about it one day on my channel. I really enjoyed connecting both cinema and anime in this video.
Compared OPM season 2 , half the fmab 80% of code geass I don't think half of season 2 of AOT is that boring, and the next seasons of AOT are pretty much the peak seasons of anime IMO

Hey! I often get harassed over AoT basically I disagree with it being a masterpiece, but being an at least good anime. I also got bored around season 2 and I felt alone in that, but seeing your comment I wonder if this is the case for other people who stopped watching AoT. I watched it as it was coming out and season 2, after it was released, was the reason I just had to stop.
