I thank the church for making this very large, permanent sacrifice on behalf of the Great Salt Lake, and potential alternate recipients who could criticize this decision but decide not to.
Our world truly is the Lord’s glorious and beautiful creation, and He has made it clear in these latter days, we are to not only till the earth, but also take good care of it. It is our stewardship as followers of Jesus Christ, as Bishop Caussé described last General Conference.

Media will only report this as “Church donated water rights”, but I hope we each appreciate the emphasis on fasting and prayer and our own water conservation efforts.

The day not far soon where this dessert oasis will be flourishing with lush greenery in preparation for the return of the lost tribes of Israel...

Chris Waddell worked as a financial consultant (stockbroker) at the San Diego, California branch of Merrill Lynch in the 1990s. Looks the same. Speaks the same. Still wheeling and dealing.
I worked at the Honolulu Branch.

Estamos há tanto tempo na superfície da Terra, as mudanças nela acontecem lentamente, e agora que vemos lembramos. Oremos então com fé por inspiração, para a natureza, para as chuvas virem, será , para todos e encontrar soluções.

Everyone might simply take a drive to the cities of Arizona. There is very little green landscaping. Instead yards of homes, landscaping around businesses, common interest developments, and roadside aprons are all beautiful desertscapes with decomposed granite, rocks, boulders, etc. I think Southern California and maybe Utah can learn from Arizona.

Read Ezekiel chapter 47:8-11. This is a symbolic, if not literal fulfillment of prophecy.
