It's always a pleasure to see you. I look forward to every video from you, more of them please. They're so relaxed, it's so much fun. Thanks for that. 🌻
This seemed like an exciting night filled with laughs in addition to the Izakaya visits. Definitely must have a main destination when venturing around Shinjuku area at night. Have fun, stay safe and looking forward for the next video. Perhaps you can do a similar video in different specific areas of Tokyo - it can be dinner and some excitement that the local area has to offer!
Thats the exact logic I used to pre-drink with this 75% polish vodka! 5% alcohol with like 400 ml vol of beer (~20ml of alcohol?) ... one shot is like 50 ml so I figured it was kinda the same amount of alcohol as drinking two beers for pre But it was like drinking poison!
This video bringing back bad memories 😅 I was in Nagoya and it was late and i was hungry we went past a sign, that showed pizza and i just had to get one. weirdly enough we had to go downstairs, went into an empty bar asking the bartender where we could get to eat the pizza. he send us next door into another bar. embarressed to just turn and go again we sat down and ordered an sorry excuse of a pizza. while waiting we got offered to get a drink. since the menu was all japanese with little to no english translation i ordered a maltz, which sounded similar to some sort of german beer. turned out it was some kind of brandy. so i went outside tipsy and still hungry 🤣 i swore to myself never go downstairs for food again 😅
I wouldve handled the japanese drinking nightlife easily in my 20s...as an elder millennial now, I probably be hammered after 2 to 3 drinks max and sleepy after midnight. 😅😆🍻
Ironically some nice hotels are located in Kabukicho that are popular with tourist. Be advised if you're out late and you're a lone foreign male, you will get asked repeatedly by "women of the evening" for various services. They are most likely controlled by the Yakuza so don't take them up on any offers. I had a woman talk to me all the way to McDonalds as I repeatedly declined her offers that were steadily coming down in price as we walked. I ended up buying her some food and coffee and she walked with me back to the train station where I wished her good luck and then left
soma seems like a great tour guide :)
This got me so hyped for my trip next year! 🍻

I'd be so sad if after all that, I didn't even get a decent pizza!
