Thank you SO much for this video!!! It was awful for Samsung to have to make us have to take these steps to be able to tap to answer. I just got a Galaxy s10 and couldn't figure out what to do. Now I can answer a call by tapping!! I am Sharing a link to your video on my Facebook News Feed.

Love this guy. Also if the asst menu icon bothers you, just max out the transparency and place as a side bar.

Thank you so much. What is the reason for taking this off! Samsung provides SO many features and they put this under the assisted menu. Dumb!

Good video. I then moved the assistant menu to the top of the screen and hide it, press and hold assistant menu, a "X" will pop up, drag Assistant menu into it, it goes to notifications section. No longer on Home screen and still active. Pull down notifications and you can see it there.

Thank you so much for this. Recently got a Note 9 and am loving everything about it...except the swipe to answer or end call feature! Nearly unusable because of this. Your video fixed this one negative issue and now I'm happy as a clam!

I watched a different TH-cam video on answering calls, but did not have the Accessibility feature as shown. I watched YOUR video, and it is excellent; found necessary features and can now tap to answer calls. THANK YOU VERY MUCH......

That has to be the single dumbest new "feature" ever programmed into a phone. Thanks

Thank you for video! I got fed up with Iphone and decided to switch to Galaxy. So many features that are not readily apparent on S10, much of the system is neither intuitive nor user friendly. I was swiping the button to answer calls and it was hit or miss to be able to pick up call, the swipe feature is not good at all. This fix will solve that particular problem, but I hope after I learn more about the operating system I don't regret switching over. Voice mail is a step backward from Apple system too. I also used to be able to switch from a current call to an incoming call easily by touching buttons. Now my only onscreen option is to send a text that I'll call back later. If there is a setting to easily and instantly switch over and talk to caller , I'll have to research that as well. Good video!

If you want to "hide" the annoying Assisistant menu icon, you could drag the tab in Transparency all the way to the right (+ side), then go down to "show as edge icon" and turn it on, don't forget to choose the icon size "small" and drag it all the way up on the phone screen. After I did all this, the menu icon is barely noticeable on my phone screen.

Thanks for this. I had mine turned on like this and then recently that little circle with four grey squares assistant manager icon suddenly appeared. When I turned that off, the tap went back to swipe. Is there any way to get rid of that circle assitant manager thing and keep my call pick ups on tap rather than swipe. I don't like that circle thing at all. And sorry I don't know what it's called but you can see it on your phone above your finger at .58 secs into the video?
