      The gestures are personal opinion . They are just fine imo. However, I use goodlock for a swipe back from left side of screen to the right like apple . Unlike Apple this is truly system wide. I Set the setting to be short and long swipe from left to right then I set a Diagonal swipe upwards from left to right for recents the same way and left the native home swipe. Also used fully transparency so you don’t see the bars. Its amazing , and Apple is dead to me now . Had iphones since the iphone4. This is my first galaxy and my first android phone and I am loving it. Apple will have to do a lot to get me back. Give me multi window, give me customizable gestures, give me a cheaper price, give me expandable storage, give me more customization.... at the pace Apple goes it’s going to take them 20 years of updates just to catch up to the features on the galaxy S 10.

    • @bossaro9729
      @bossaro9729 5 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      @@carlaschutte6462 It depends on what u are into. If you are a long time iPhone user then you should probably stick whit a Apple product but overall the S10 is better in terms of specs and I'm a android user that's why I choose the S10 and also i like the new One UI better than the iOS 12.4 and I love the snapdragon 855 it feels so much better than the Apple A12 so i recommend to you the S10 Plus but I wouldn't blame you if you chose the iPhone XR because it's the only iPhone that's worth it's money.

    Hey again Brandon: I purchased an S10 for my husband. He usually doesn't spend time learning these kinds of things as it's hard for him to remember them (or how to get OUT of them). I went through my S8 (I still haven't decided on a Pixel) using this vid and found that many of the tips and tricks you talked about work on my S8. Cool beans! Thanks! Do you have one specific to the S8 that may have more for me to learn? (I could research, but why should I when you're one of the best out there?) :) Hope you're well. Diana

    My opinion of the S10 Plus is the size is great. I got this for an EXTREMELY great deal with the trade in of my Note 8. The Samsung Note 8 had so many customizing features for nearly everything. The S10 Plus does not, unless I'm missing something. Let's take text messaging. In the Note 8 there were customization features that allowed each contact to have a custom color. Not in the S10 Plus. I also can't customize my text bubble to any shape except what is there, just a line dividing the texted msgs. I miss the customization features in the Note 8. The S10 Plus is somewhat generic. A bit disappointed, but doable. It is fast, not that the Note 8 was slow. Would have waited for the Note 10, but after researching the S10 Plus, I found that the Note 10 was even larger than the Note 8. I guess this phone was mostly designed for its camera and perhaps gaming.

    I'd recommend the gesture mode. There has been a history of the navigation icons burning into the screen over time due their static nature. By using the gestures you will not have those static icons and you will not run into those burn in issues.

      Not everyone thinks that. I have a ton of people who have told me it is a rushed job. There are way better gesture options out there. The great thing is that you have a choice. If you like it, use it. It doesn't actually matter what I think. Do what you want!
