Yes the D8 was very popular, it was basically the first trully good controller from them to me, the D9 is the D8 but with the PS5/PS Portal looks (which looks hideous IMO) and the one in the video is the D8 Pro which seems to be the one reaching almost Gamesir in terms of build quality, the standard D8 was good but still felt quite cheap and the D8 Pro kinda fixed that. As far as I know the D8 Pro still doesn't have a single video review out, it's very recent so if you want to do a solo quick review of it I think it would do well. Or maybe do a quick look at it in the D10 review.
Please!!!! Add you the Jack audio 3.55 mm in your future telescopic gamepad. Start you for a base like Easysmx m10 o m05 and add you: action key better and with color (a, b, x ,y or playstation key), than interchangebale internal grip for smartphone with cover, feedback aptic, possibility of connect device via bluetooth or type-c always, and possibility to positioned the smartphone in vertical for play DS/3DS game. Also the different case color: white, black, grey, Red, green, blue, trasparent or clear white-purple-black-acqua blue etc.... in style gameboy color or retroid pocket 4.

I found this channel a good while back when the G8 Galileo (the goat) released and was shocked at how the nice the production quality of the videos are and how pleasant he is to hear, a real gem of a channel.
For your next tier list, could you mention if a controller is recognized by Call of Duty Mobile (on Android)? I know it’s a very specific thing, but that game has a very weird controller support implementation. All bluetooth controllers seem to work fine, but hard wired controller support seems to be exclusive to Backbone. Even for controllers that spoof a Dualsense, I can’t find confirmation that they work natively since all footage of them playing the game use button mappers. What’s even more bizarre is that this is not a problem on iOS. Every wired telescopic controller I’ve tried works fine in that game on my iPhone. My only theory that I can’t confirm yet is that iOS has a better controller protocol so game developers don’t have to do anything to support third party controllers, as long as they support a Dualsense or X-Input. Meanwhile on the Android side, Backbone seems to have worked out a deal to be the only usable wired telescopic controller for that game. It seems very anticompetitive and might mean the only way for a controller to work would be to spoof a Backbone and not a Dualsense. Sorry for the huge wall of text, but this is now my white whale when it comes to mobile controllers. Because so far no other telescopic controllers work in the game and Backbone refuses to update their design with sticks that are good for a shooter, Android CODM players have just been screwed by this situation for a while.

Exactly, all the bluetooth controller can spoof as a dualsense/xbox, but it is still bluetooth. I just know that the wired ones only support backbone after reading ur comment, thats fkd up actually.. Oh yea and i have a question, does wired controller has wireless support too? like if i want to use it for my laptop
@@Fielith To your question, historically? No. However, this seemingly is starting to change and the first controller I've seen do that is EasySMX M05, there may have been more but if so I'm unaware. With that said, there are more controllers that will be coming out VERY SHORTLY that have this feature as well. Stay tuned! ;)
I understand your point of view. Do I wish ASUS had designed the Kunai 3 for every phone? Of course. Technically it does so but only wireless with the center connector. I didn’t rate them by what they weren’t designed for but rather by what they were. Still, your suggestion is a fair one and something I’ll keep in mind when I do this again. Thanks for watching!

I love my GamesirX4. It's also a decent computer controller. For those who don't know, it has 2 modes which is gamesirx4(mobile) and Xbox for PC. Not sure if it works on XBOX consoles tho.
Waii whhattt?? I've gone through the manual, I tried shortcuts, I tried plugging it in on PC, sync'ing through Bluetooth, nothing worked. What am I missing? Or is it a firmware update thing? I didn't update it since having reviewed it... 🤔

Even their support team on Discord is unaware of this feature 🤣 Hold the Xbox and B button ( 3-4 secs) for the Xbox controller mode and the Blue LED will blink. Xbox and A button to go back to the Gamesir phone mode, white LED should then blink. You can still use the Xbox mode on mobile but the app will not recognize the gamepad. When on Xbox mode, it should show up as an Xbox controller on your computer.

Other than Bluetooth options, it appears the only option on this list for foldable phones is the X2S? Just not a fan of the color of it and hoping for something in black and in the same small + slim profile. I currently have a G8 Galileo but am a bit irritated with the Surface Duo screens coming downward rather than up like a traditional DS. I am contemplating the BSP-D8 Pro now that I see it though, especially in black. Great job on the review, it was very insightful.
Yeah unfortunately the left side USB-C is not common at all. But Bluetooth has been better and better. I’d argue that if using a Foldable, best to just go towards that tech by default and there are some PRETTY SEXY options coming out soon that I can’t yet speak about. Rest assured that, this market is growing rapidly and option are becoming more and more in our midst. Lots of amazing things coming in Q3/Q4! 😉

I have the x4 Aileron, and for me it's a tier s, THE QUALITY IS PERFECT, SUBLIME EVEN. It's soo good, and the software is also really good, I've never encountered any problem whatsoever, and I've tried it in many phones and even tablets, and the software is perfectly functional.
It's a very robust solution, glad you love it this much! To me it's a specific product for specific gamers and much like I paraphrased when making my review, I knew there would be people exactly like you that find it to be the best controller ever because it does have amazing appeal for the right person!
As a ROG Phone user, the placement of the Type-C port not being in the bottom middle is a challenge, especially with the ROG Kunai 3 always out of stock. This really limits our options for Type-C telescopic gaming. While using a Bluetooth gamepad is an alternative, having a cooler is essential for me We could use the JK02, but it requires the charger to be plugged into the controller for the cooler to work, which means we can't charge the phone while using the cooler at the same time. Based on this, the GameSir X4 Aileron seems like a viable replacement for the ROG Kunai 3. It allows me to use the ROG Aerocooler, enabling me to keep the phone cool and charge it simultaneously, possibly even making the most of the bypass charging feature. I'm not sure why I added this comment here, but I think it provides valuable input from a ROG Phone user's perspective and offers an additional option for telescopic game controllers like the Aileron.
After Years Trying Telescopic controllers and doing my own testings, my top is: Gamesir G8 Plus Gamesir G8 Galileo Gamesir X4 Aileron Gamesir X2s BackBone V2 Backbone V1 RazerKishi V1 Razer Kishi V2 (the worst, in my opinion) I started with a Razer Kishi V1 than a Backbone V1, and i was amazed with the backbone. Then I got a Razer kishi v2, but you can't use it with a case and the joysticks are awful then the Backbone V2 came out and I was amazed again with backbone, but the first time i tried a Gamesir controller and having the possibility to use a slim case with it and having back buttons with the G8 Galileo i couldn't see my backbone V2 The same way again and i even got a X2S that is even better than the Backbones and cheaper with the hall effect joysticks and for prime day i got the X4 Aileron That can be use with any case after waiting they announced The Gamesir G8+ That You can Use it with a NINTENDO SWITCH making the G8+ the best controller around the globle in my opinión ❤
About Ipega, just a few months back they came up with a new model (9777s) which copies the design of the Samsung Glap controller, but extends to fit large tables. It has adjustable analog sticks sensitivity, new spring mechanism, and RGB lights. I think those sold a lot that they have to restock. The thing is the restock version is a stripped down version of the original. They removed the sensitivity sliders and changed the spring mechanisms. But still, probably a good affordable alternative to the BSP D8 Pro you've shown here.

G8 Plus and BSP D8 Pro are going to be your best bet. I would want to spend more time reviewing tablets down the road as I think they make phenomenal gaming solutions but I'd be lying if I said that this is immediately in my radar.
I recently bought a backbone and had heard mixed comments about needing or not needing the backbone+ subscription but getting into the app most features i went to check out like linking your accounts etc needed the + subscription so i'm not sure since im not a huge gamer and very new to mobile/cloud/pc gaming how you'd have used it without the subscription so currently looking for other options now instead but none the less was still hoping to find out an official answer

a larger phone on kishi v1 feels like a coherent handheld console in a way most of the other controllers dont. It was disappointing when i tried it on a smaller samsung A20 but man does it work like a charm with my old poco x2, feels like the controls are straight up built in. Especially with its price cut, now being like 40 bucks its easily A tier imo
i found one for like, 45 CAD refurbished, and my s20 FE has similar dimensions to your poco. I'll probably br buying it, and i'll let y'all know how it goes :)
Great video, very informative. I’m looking for a telescopic controller that stretches to fit the 11in IPad Pro with M2 chip. I currently have a dual sense linked to the iPad, however I can’t use the dual senses gyro aiming in CODM. In order to retain gyro, I’d have to move the iPad itself, so I’m looking for something that will fit. Any recommendations? Thanks and keep up with awesome videos!
I actually have an updated tierlist that I released 2-3 days ago, might be some good stuff for you in there. As for the iPad, I'd say the GameSir Galileo G8+ is probably your best best and it works best bet also in terms of convenience of taking in and out an iPad out of a telescopic controller!
I really wish more of the wired controllers like G8 etc had the type C connector on the left like the X2s. In a year-ish i'd like to get a OnePlus Open (maybe their Open 2 will be out), and the connector on the left is less awkward/more folding phone friendly with the result of the top of the screen being above the controller IMO. Rather than bottom of the screen being below the controller.
Yeah, unfortunately, very few controllers do, basically just the X2s as far as I know. With a bit of DIY, you might be able to reroute a cable to the G8+ though.
Interesting that you left out if they need to be charged, I only have 1 telescopic controller Gamesir Galileo G8 and it feels like what a controller should feel like, except for one downside that the buttons are nearly completely vertical with the sticks even though it's shaped in a way that could allow it.
Most telescopic controllers are plugged in but you are right with the BSP-D8 Pro at least, that one is battery and do need to be charged. Thanks for pointing it out, I'll make sure to mention it when I do this again. As for the sticks, I like them slightly off as well but seeing as the Galileo has a large enough ergo grip, I find that to be more trivial than on something like a retro handheld or a joycon, you know something with a slimmer profile. have you tried iPega RED KNIGHT? it's pretty old and probably won't be as good as the tier As but, it's the only controller I know that supports vertical play since it's very small. basically, you can play DS and gameboy games the way it was meant to play, vertically

I have a G8, but honestly considering the Kishi ultra so I don't have to deal with an app that's marked as malware, needing to turn on/off the controller to get it recognised. Feels like it would also be better in touch emulation (have some annoyances in wuthering waves with the G8) and has a bit more space between the right joystick and buttons
Hard to give you that answer right now because we are right in the middle of having new models. I'm literally in the middle of filming a video for one and I have at least 2 more to film in the coming month, if not three. M15 and G8+ are safe bets but I'd sit at least a few days to see the reviews. The new tier list will come out in late September, if not mid. Cheers!

You have to mod to fit that tablet and your options are Galileo G8, Galileo G8+ and the Abxylute S9 (but that you'll have to wait if you back it). I honestly STRONGLY recommend watching my Abxylute S9 review if you haven't seen it. Great opportunity for an amazing deal right now!
I want something low profile that I can just throw in my bag. I am currently using an 8bitdo zero 2 but would like something similar that can connect to my phone with just a d pad and a few face buttons.
That is telescopic or not necessarily? Because indeed, in the low profile department, 8BitDo takes the cake, even with options such as the SN30 Pro with a phone clip.
@@GameTechTalk there is no telescoping with the zero 2. It’s just a tiny controller I toss in my bag. For holding my phone I have a mag safe wallet that doubles as a phone stand.
I personally thinks that the Gamesir X4a is on the S tier because how much it can do, for example it can connect to Android, IOS & PC. Also it got Joycon Mode which you can use the controller as 2 separate controller to play local co-op multiplayer games like Metal Slug or Overcooked. And then with this feature you can use either single left grip or the right grip to play competitive games like CODM Warzone Also to mention the Grip Connector & Clip Extender accessories that we can 3D Print. Literally underrated gamepad, Gamesir failed to deliver the correct marketing promotion
Well, you brought a lot of info to me that I didn't even know existed but that is why I gave it an A and also why I had a very positive review on it. You have, in my humble opinion, gave my take all the more validity by showcasing just how niche this controller is, and that is why it pushes this high, don't think of A as being bad, it's pretty impressive when you think of a product that has half a dozen other variant in existence. GameSir is leading (by a large margin) the landslide for this form factor, and that's saying something. But making it an S means that it would cater to every single need in the form factor and I just can't see that to be true. You don't have a USB-C on both sides, you don't have rumble, you don't have gyro, you don't have wired connectivity, you don't have a candy bar connection in the box, there are a lot of ways that this controller could improve as a market solution, but in the current shape and form that it is? I think it corners every "mandatory" aspects that consumers looking for this solution would want. I hope my scoring makes more sense now but the good news, because it has such a loving community behind it, you can take it from an A and bring it all the way up to an S, and that is awesome, let's hope GameSir will give you that S out-of-the-box for future versions! :)
That's a big ask and one currently not in existence basically. The closest to what you are saying is the M05 because it has the connector, it has antennas but it has no battery! :3 Maybe it could be modded with one but I'll leave that to the bawss tinkerer Shem from RetroBreeze! Otherwise, it's usually one or the other, not both. The one exception is the MOGA XP-7 Plus that I talk about in this video but it's not a USB-C connector, a big disappointment to be honest. If I was MOGA, I'd do a revised unit with USB-C and rumble because otherwise, It was an AMAZING product! BSP could also surprise us all with an D11 model but they said that product line was done so time will tell.

@@gatebreaker44 The Kishi V1 is surprisingly good, you'll probably just want to add some type of holder to keep it more stable on your phone but by no means is it a bad controller, quite the opposite. The one concern I have for you though to be honest, 50 euros seem a bit steep for that controller seeing as it's probably no longer in production? Are you not able to get it cheaper?
@@GameTechTalk Europe is expensive in general, I don't think so, even the g8 is 80 euros. Can you explain what you mean by a pad? Also I've had a gamesir X2pro before and my software experience with it was really bad. Key mapping was a no go essentially. That's why I thought I may as well get the V1 where there is also probably no key mapping but at least hopefully there is no connection issues.
One thing that I always want to know because it's make or break on these controllers is the right thumbstick placement. It's always too low. It's the main thing that keeps me from love the Galileo G8.
You know, lately I've been wanting to see a controller try to have symmetrical sticks but over rather than under or assymetrical, much like the Steam Deck type of thing. I think that could definitely work and the way I see it, sticks maneuvers are way more "cramp inducing" than buttons, so by having them over, I think it would greatly improve the "long session" usage of some of these controllers. Do you think that could be an interesting solution?
@@GameTechTalkthe BSP-D9 has symmetrical sticks that are definitely not very low relative to the D-pad and face buttons, since the D9 is a clone of the the DualSense design. Even the Steam Deck's sticks are slightly below the D-pad/buttons, not above them.
@@ydgmdlu I meant the upper portion of the available footprint, not necessarily the order from top to bottom of sticks and buttons. However, on a traditional controller, due to available space, if the sticks were to be over, the buttons would most likely be under. Sorry for the confusion.
Which one is best EasySMX M10 or GameSir X2S ? I have 13 pro max so lighting is downfall for now lol this will be first gaming controller. Would love your feedback.
Yeah I figured you meant the X2s Bluetooth, the new model. Quite frankly, I would go X2s Bluetooth. As much as I know the Lightning M10 will work. Once you upgrade your phone, it’ll become e-waste. As for the X2s Bluetooth, it’ll still be good after. They are both ok but to me the X2s is the better product of the two and also, it spoofs as Dualsense which works better with iOS than spoofing Xbox 360 wireless (which M10 does). The M10 only advantage are the two extra paddles but they aren’t in the ideal position for most people. My vote is X2s Bluetooth personally, and I love the colors!
@@santijr007 Arguably, lighting could be better because of lower latency but with iOS releasing Game Mode extremely shortly, Bluetooth connections will be getting a boost. Also, the difference on everyday use should be trivial, that is why I would recommend to go "function over form" by going Bluetooth. Despite me not necessarily liking the overall boxy shape of the M05, I can definitely see that it is the better option compared to the M10. I just bought it off of Amazon for only $42. Such a great product for its price tag and is maybe even on par with the controllers that are closer to $100
Totally! And I assure you, it's not my go-to shape either but like Shem said (RetroBreeze), somehow they managed to make it feel different despite looking like other controllers of that same type. I think that perfectly sums up how I feel about the EasySMX M05 shape and I would add that the differences it has makes it more comfortable than the options it looks like. Cheers!

@@danieloku7560 Don't worry, you don't bother me at all, I was editing and taking a break before the last stretch! The X2s has one very specific advantage over the M05 and it is the fact that you can stretch it for a tablet mode. If that is not important for you, don't bother. Otherwise, the M05 is pretty much on all front a superior product as far as I am concerned.

Love the g8 gamesir, however it's twice the price of MOGA xpx7 plus. Really worth IT or it's better to go with moga? Limited funds :( Mosty PSP emulators, maybe the bloodstrike and fortnite on Android
The MOGA is surprisingly good, even by today's standard but the G8 is far superior, without a doubt. With that said, if you get the MOGA at half the price of the G8, I would go MOGA, ride it out for a year or two because right now, the market is moving so rapidly that by the time you've grown out of your MOGA, the market will probably have vastly improved.

Great video, you've got a new subscriber. I'm actually thinking about the ipega pg-9777s since it can stretch too fit my 12.6 inch tablet. Cheap enough at around $45 CAD, so i might take a chance with it. Fingers crossed.
I'll first mention that I have not laid hands on the iPega 9777. With that said, I have had multiple viewers report back to me that it was best to steer clear from it, that it basically was terrible in fact. As the audience trusts me, I decided to trust them 😂. With that said, I do have the BSP-D8 Pro, D9 and D10. I would recommend turning towards one of those instead. I am planning to do a video on them shortly.

I’m not sure it the 9777s is similar to the normal 9777, cause the S version seems to have a different layout and has dials to adjust rocker sensitivity, which I think is pretty cool if it actually works well. Looking forward to your video on those BSP controllers! Your review on the Galileo G8 Plus definitely has me contemplating splurging a bit more for it 😂

I'd say the bsp d3 should have been at least a b. It's pretty good for its price. It works via Bluetooth for android and ios, and can be used wited to a PC. battery life is good as well. Sure it doesn't have some features like analog triggers, it's still really good for its price.
The way I look at it is, it’s not. It’s hardly good at all. But for its price? It’s good. I realize I’m just flipping your words but I do think it changes the meaning of how to perceive this device. Someone said it very well in the comments, great solution to dip your toes into the market but that should be where it ends in my personal opinion. If you think about it, 2 BSP-D3 get you a BSP-D8 Pro pretty much, now that’s a great deal. However, during the time that the D3 was released? I would’ve rated it higher because at that time, there weren’t that many options in the low price point. For that, we can all be thankful for the D3 and I certainly am.
So the SMX got rated S without having hall effects, above the Gamesir X2s which has same features plus hall effects. Also I would like to mention I've had an absolutely horrible experience with Razer, Ive used the Kishi V1 and Kishi V2, both broke within my first months. Not putting any money on razer on the controller department ever again. Edit: I am happy you put Kishi V2 at D because it is truly horrible and i totally agree the clickiness feel absolutely wrong. After watching the whole video I will have to checkout the Galileo, too many roses thrown at it.
I hear you, so the thing is, Hall-Effect is not exclusively all better, it does become a question of preference and sure, it is great to prevent stick drift, but not for stick resolution. Not for stick jitter. Not for "raw inputs". At the end of the day, some favor hall-effect and that's perfectly fine and legitimate but ALPS is not exclusively all bad, there are positives too. If you watch my M05 review, I talk a bit more about it. As for Razer... Yup. Haven't necessarily experienced what you have but... Not surprised? 😅

I do not have the combination that you mentioned but I can attest to not being able to use the M05 with the case on my Fold 4 and it’s a fairly slim case. With that said, the ultra slim on my iPhone 15 works just fine.
It’s questionable. I’ve always been a big believer in raw inputs but raw means the missteps and mistakes are also more captured. So much like dead zones eliminate the raw input jitter at base value, too much sensitivity is like bringing that jitter back on stick travel. Cheers!
Wired is from 8ms to 2ms so far that I've seen on the telescopic market. I'd say 95% are 8ms, the 4 and 2ms are just starting to appear, very uncommon. For bluetooth, it goes from 15ms to approximately 3ms. So that depends, and there are far worst too when it comes to bluetooth but that range is from 1 year old released controllers on average. Right now, the best controller I've tested bluetooth is the G8+, I have a review on my channel and it'll be part of the next tierlist video which will probably be around september. Cheers!
I never did and it seems they stopped producing it too, sold out, couldn’t even find the listing on Amazon Canada. Maybe they have a newer model coming out shortly? 🤷🏾
the bsp d8 pro actually works with the nintendo switch. pretty sure it also claims to have hd rumble, would be curious to see you make a review of that product.
It does work for the Switch, tested it. As for the HD Rumble, it is absolute lie OR there is an iteration out there from a different production batch that does. But rest assured, which I'll cover in the review, that the rumble while there, is definitely not HD and definitely sub-par.

@@normanosborn6236 It's decent but not great to be honest. The hold on the Switch, while functional, is not the best. You're much better off with ergonomic ones. If you don't want to dish the price for Mobapads, which I totally get, check out my review on the COIORVIS HD Rumble pads on my channel. They are amazing and considerably more affordable tbh.

When you say type-C, do you mean that has a connector to connect directly to the controller? Because if so, the only one will be the EasySMX M05. Controller don’t usually have the wired connector AND radio antenna. That’s an anomaly of the M05 essentially. If you mean it’s wireless but charges with USB-C I would recommend either the X2s Bluetooth or the G8+ that I released a review for yesterday. Cheers!

Do very much enjoy my G8 but the 3.5 mm port never works with my Pixel 6. I also wish that data could be transmitted through the USB c port so I could connect to ethernet wile using the device. Otherwise good list, though I'm curious how the M-Con will fit into this list when it is eventually released.
I'd love to hear back from the creator, I tried to reach out but I'm small time and I can't imagine how much buzz the controller generated. Either way, I'll get my hands on the M-Con as soon as it is possible.

@@angelgnievestorres5769 Hmmm. So some headphones flip the polarities, Apple was notorious for doing that. Maybe that’s what caused an issue with the controller? Sorry I wouldn’t know more or anything at all about that issue but I would strongly recommend that you reach out to Backbone as soon as possible. That is not normal.
I was going to say, the Kishi V1 is definitely up there in most quiet, the problem is even the membrane quiet ones will do a bit of noise. But if not the Kishi V1, I'd argue that the Galileo G8 is up there, the membrane is a bit "low pitch" so by being more of a low frequency sound, I find you tend to hear it less than others but for a proper "less noise" experience, you'd most likely have to mod it to dampen the sound even more, something I haven't tried. I was in the initial hype with the G8, but the lack of app support to configure the stick dead zones became a deal breaker for me personally. The more I play with it the more annoyed I get and I don't feel about using it anymore. Playing warzone, AC Mirage and other similar games makes it pretty noticeable how much you need to move the sticks until movement is registered! Horrible. Scuf nomad is next on my list even though I am concerned about the BT connection. Not because of BT that is not a problem for me. It is because I won't be able to charge my phone while playing unless I remove it from the controller. Anyway, some high expectations there.
GameSir do not seem to have managed to establish a "buddy buddy" relationship with Apple but I think they are actively trying. That iPad Pro controller is one indication, but also, there is a Galileo G8 MFi edition that was shown at CES but we haven't heard since, all white, so sexy. I really think GameSir is trying to appeal to Apple but until Apple agrees, that is the number one reason for the app on iOS to really be COMPLETELY different than on Android. Everything you just said? You can do all of it and so much more... on Android. So yeah, I get where you're coming from and I sincerely hope GameSir and Apple can figure things out because more options is best for buyers. As for Nomad... you know I'm already on it! 😉

loved this video. about time someone made a modern update to mobile gaming controllers as that market is growing fast with many AAA titles coming out recently and more coming in the future. my fav in the list is the razer kishi ultra. its very similar to the G8. but the big selling point of the razer is that USB C external plug in to a pc or a 13 inch ipad pro. that way i dont have to carry around 2 controllers. i can just have the kishi ultra. play on my iphone 15 pro. then if i wanna switch to my ipad pro. I can just plug it in hard wired via USB-C. great feature. sure the 150usd is quite alot of money. but the razer has haptics which the G8 does not. so with that the price can be a bit more justified. and also G8 dont have the external USB-C plug in like the razer one has. i did test. and nothing happens it just blinks. like it has power but no data signal is coming through. the G8 only has the USB-C for input charging it seems.
The G8 does have external support but you need to use a USB-C female to USB-A male (or USB-C male) which is not a cable most people usually have lying around. You plug the female part on the male of the G8 that usually plugs into the phone/tablet you're using. Backbone can do this too and through the charging port, so no weird adapter cables. Unfortunately they charge you a subscription fee to do it. The only reason I keep mine around is because I have a lifetime access to Backbone subscription due to lucking out and getting the controller just months before they switched to a subscription model.
somebody knows how to pause usb power delivery on samsung when using a controller? i am using easysmx m15 connected to my s24 ultra and i have a pd 30w charger but for me its not showing its always charing its not enabled but without the controller i can enable it please help... because that feature is useless if cannot be worked with a controller

If they invent one that has Qi Charging combined with a Cooler, like the Oppo 45w liquid cooler magsafe charger. Like a controller combined with a Blackshark Fun Cooler 4 pro, it would be a winner by my standards!
I'd love to try that controller for sure! Technically for Qi Charging, the MOGA XP-7 Pro does do that and I don't know when that happened but I tried it the other day and it worked on iOS (it didn't before). I might even make a video about that!
By making a controller that only supports iPhone, not Android? That's aIready a bad stance from where I stand, not everyone is iOS locked. However, I have every intention of loving the Nomad if it is as good as I'm hoping it will be. But I'll believe it when I see it, Scuf has a reputation of overpromising and underdelivering. With that said, the Nomad will get its review and when the time is right, a new tierlist will happen, I really enjoyed doing it.

Maybe they’re testing the waters, and releasing an android down the road or making the BT protocol on the nomad android compatible. Scuf has a bad rep online but also, any products that people are dissatisfied with they will let others know, but a positive experience most people will not go online and leave a review.

It has the Xbox Pro D-Pad style It looks like a very solid controller, but these alone will make it a nonstarter for a lot of people, myself included.

I'm leaning towards the Atom, especially if you see value in being able to split your controllers. If not, the Kishi V2 Pro does have more features like rumble, 3.5mm jack, wired support.

None in this list and now that you mention it, I can't think of one that does in the telescopic mobile space if being perfectly honest. @rolins3279 I definitely prefer the d-pad of the Kishi V1 over the one from the Galileo G8. What I don't like with the G8's d-pad and the ones that do that in general is when the corners are pretty "sharp". I prefer the edges to be rounded, I feel like they land better for longer playtime sessions.

There is a fair amount of subjectivity when it comes to controllers so it could remain your "by default" despite trying other solutions but with that said... I'd be extremely shocked if none of the S ones would leave you wanting. Honestly, I would suggest that you go EasySMX M05 or M10 if you don't want to have too drastic a change. But if you really wanna go to a completely different tier, get the G8 or G8+. I have a review of the new one on my channel, it's as far as I am concerned, the very first Tier S+ the market has seen. Yes the D8 was very popular, it was basically the first trully good controller from them to me, the D9 is the D8 but with the PS5/PS Portal looks (which looks hideous IMO) and the one in the video is the D8 Pro which seems to be the one reaching almost Gamesir in terms of build quality, the standard D8 was good but still felt quite cheap and the D8 Pro kinda fixed that. As far as I know the D8 Pro still doesn't have a single video review out, it's very recent so if you want to do a solo quick review of it I think it would do well. Or maybe do a quick look at it in the D10 review.

Start you for a base like Easysmx m10 o m05 and add you: action key better and with color (a, b, x ,y or playstation key), than interchangebale internal grip for smartphone with cover, feedback aptic, possibility of connect device via bluetooth or type-c always, and possibility to positioned the smartphone in vertical for play DS/3DS game.
Also the different case color: white, black, grey, Red, green, blue, trasparent or clear white-purple-black-acqua blue etc.... in style gameboy color or retroid pocket 4.

I found this channel a good while back when the G8 Galileo (the goat) released and was shocked at how the nice the production quality of the videos are and how pleasant he is to hear, a real gem of a channel.
For your next tier list, could you mention if a controller is recognized by Call of Duty Mobile (on Android)? I know it’s a very specific thing, but that game has a very weird controller support implementation.
All bluetooth controllers seem to work fine, but hard wired controller support seems to be exclusive to Backbone. Even for controllers that spoof a Dualsense, I can’t find confirmation that they work natively since all footage of them playing the game use button mappers. What’s even more bizarre is that this is not a problem on iOS. Every wired telescopic controller I’ve tried works fine in that game on my iPhone.
My only theory that I can’t confirm yet is that iOS has a better controller protocol so game developers don’t have to do anything to support third party controllers, as long as they support a Dualsense or X-Input. Meanwhile on the Android side, Backbone seems to have worked out a deal to be the only usable wired telescopic controller for that game. It seems very anticompetitive and might mean the only way for a controller to work would be to spoof a Backbone and not a Dualsense.
Sorry for the huge wall of text, but this is now my white whale when it comes to mobile controllers. Because so far no other telescopic controllers work in the game and Backbone refuses to update their design with sticks that are good for a shooter, Android CODM players have just been screwed by this situation for a while.

@@Fielith To your question, historically? No. However, this seemingly is starting to change and the first controller I've seen do that is EasySMX M05, there may have been more but if so I'm unaware. With that said, there are more controllers that will be coming out VERY SHORTLY that have this feature as well. Stay tuned! ;)

I love my GamesirX4. It's also a decent computer controller. For those who don't know, it has 2 modes which is gamesirx4(mobile) and Xbox for PC. Not sure if it works on XBOX consoles tho.

Hold the Xbox and B button ( 3-4 secs) for the Xbox controller mode and the Blue LED will blink. Xbox and A button to go back to the Gamesir phone mode, white LED should then blink.
You can still use the Xbox mode on mobile but the app will not recognize the gamepad. When on Xbox mode, it should show up as an Xbox controller on your computer.

Other than Bluetooth options, it appears the only option on this list for foldable phones is the X2S? Just not a fan of the color of it and hoping for something in black and in the same small + slim profile. I currently have a G8 Galileo but am a bit irritated with the Surface Duo screens coming downward rather than up like a traditional DS. I am contemplating the BSP-D8 Pro now that I see it though, especially in black. Great job on the review, it was very insightful.
Yeah unfortunately the left side USB-C is not common at all. But Bluetooth has been better and better. I’d argue that if using a Foldable, best to just go towards that tech by default and there are some PRETTY SEXY options coming out soon that I can’t yet speak about. Rest assured that, this market is growing rapidly and option are becoming more and more in our midst. Lots of amazing things coming in Q3/Q4! 😉

I have the x4 Aileron, and for me it's a tier s, THE QUALITY IS PERFECT, SUBLIME EVEN. It's soo good, and the software is also really good, I've never encountered any problem whatsoever, and I've tried it in many phones and even tablets, and the software is perfectly functional.
It's a very robust solution, glad you love it this much! To me it's a specific product for specific gamers and much like I paraphrased when making my review, I knew there would be people exactly like you that find it to be the best controller ever because it does have amazing appeal for the right person!
As a ROG Phone user, the placement of the Type-C port not being in the bottom middle is a challenge, especially with the ROG Kunai 3 always out of stock. This really limits our options for Type-C telescopic gaming. While using a Bluetooth gamepad is an alternative, having a cooler is essential for me
We could use the JK02, but it requires the charger to be plugged into the controller for the cooler to work, which means we can't charge the phone while using the cooler at the same time. Based on this, the GameSir X4 Aileron seems like a viable replacement for the ROG Kunai 3. It allows me to use the ROG Aerocooler, enabling me to keep the phone cool and charge it simultaneously, possibly even making the most of the bypass charging feature.
I'm not sure why I added this comment here, but I think it provides valuable input from a ROG Phone user's perspective and offers an additional option for telescopic game controllers like the Aileron.
After Years Trying Telescopic controllers and doing my own testings, my top is:
Gamesir G8 Plus

Gamesir X4 Aileron

BackBone V2
Backbone V1
RazerKishi V1
Razer Kishi V2 (the worst, in my opinion)
I started with a Razer Kishi V1 than a Backbone V1, and i was amazed with the backbone. Then I got a Razer kishi v2, but you can't use it with a case and the joysticks are awful then the Backbone V2 came out and I was amazed again with backbone, but the first time i tried a Gamesir controller and having the possibility to use a slim case with it and having back buttons with the G8 Galileo i couldn't see my backbone V2 The same way again and i even got a X2S that is even better than the Backbones and cheaper with the hall effect joysticks and for prime day i got the X4 Aileron That can be use with any case after waiting they announced The Gamesir G8+ That You can Use it with a NINTENDO SWITCH making the G8+ the best controller around the globle in my opinión ❤

About Ipega, just a few months back they came up with a new model (9777s) which copies the design of the Samsung Glap controller, but extends to fit large tables. It has adjustable analog sticks sensitivity, new spring mechanism, and RGB lights. I think those sold a lot that they have to restock. The thing is the restock version is a stripped down version of the original. They removed the sensitivity sliders and changed the spring mechanisms. But still, probably a good affordable alternative to the BSP D8 Pro you've shown here.

G8 Plus and BSP D8 Pro are going to be your best bet. I would want to spend more time reviewing tablets down the road as I think they make phenomenal gaming solutions but I'd be lying if I said that this is immediately in my radar.
I recently bought a backbone and had heard mixed comments about needing or not needing the backbone+ subscription but getting into the app most features i went to check out like linking your accounts etc needed the + subscription so i'm not sure since im not a huge gamer and very new to mobile/cloud/pc gaming how you'd have used it without the subscription so currently looking for other options now instead but none the less was still hoping to find out an official answer

a larger phone on kishi v1 feels like a coherent handheld console in a way most of the other controllers dont. It was disappointing when i tried it on a smaller samsung A20 but man does it work like a charm with my old poco x2, feels like the controls are straight up built in. Especially with its price cut, now being like 40 bucks its easily A tier imo
The Kishi V1 should've been a blueprint that they kept building from, rather they decided to do a full 180 with their design. Oh well

Great video, very informative. I’m looking for a telescopic controller that stretches to fit the 11in IPad Pro with M2 chip. I currently have a dual sense linked to the iPad, however I can’t use the dual senses gyro aiming in CODM. I actually have an updated tierlist that I released 2-3 days ago, might be some good stuff for you in there. As for the iPad, I'd say the GameSir Galileo G8+ is probably your best best and it works best bet also in terms of convenience of taking in and out an iPad out of a telescopic controller!
I really wish more of the wired controllers like G8 etc had the type C connector on the left like the X2s. In a year-ish i'd like to get a OnePlus Open (maybe their Open 2 will be out), and the connector on the left is less awkward/more folding phone friendly with the result of the top of the screen being above the controller IMO. Rather than bottom of the screen being below the controller.
Yeah, unfortunately, very few controllers do, basically just the X2s as far as I know. With a bit of DIY, you might be able to reroute a cable to the G8+ though.

Interesting that you left out if they need to be charged, I only have 1 telescopic controller Gamesir Galileo G8 and it feels like what a controller should feel like, except for one downside that the buttons are nearly completely vertical with the sticks even though it's shaped in a way that could allow it.
Most telescopic controllers are plugged in but you are right with the BSP-D8 Pro at least, that one is battery and do need to be charged. Thanks for pointing it out, I'll make sure to mention it when I do this again. As for the sticks, I like them slightly off as well but seeing as the Galileo has a large enough ergo grip, I find that to be more trivial than on something like a retro handheld or a joycon, you know something with a slimmer profile. I have a G8, but honestly considering the Kishi ultra so I don't have to deal with an app that's marked as malware, needing to turn on/off the controller to get it recognised. Feels like it would also be better in touch emulation (have some annoyances in wuthering waves with the G8) and has a bit more space between the right joystick and buttons
The Kishi Ultra is great. If you're ok with the premium cost, it definitely is a solid option and still top podium in the current landscape.

Hard to give you that answer right now because we are right in the middle of having new models. I'm literally in the middle of filming a video for one and I have at least 2 more to film in the coming month, if not three. Personally I like the Razer Kishi v2 pro, I like the button mapping feature of the nexus specifically.

That is telescopic or not necessarily? Because indeed, in the low profile department, 8BitDo takes the cake, even with options such as the SN30 Pro with a phone clip.
@@GameTechTalk there is no telescoping with the zero 2. It’s just a tiny controller I toss in my bag. For holding my phone I have a mag safe wallet that doubles as a phone stand.
I personally thinks that the Gamesir X4a is on the S tier because how much it can do, for example it can connect to Android, IOS & PC. Also it got Joycon Mode which you can use the controller as 2 separate controller to play local co-op multiplayer games like Metal Slug or Overcooked.
And then with this feature you can use either single left grip or the right grip to play competitive games like CODM Warzone
Also to mention the Grip Connector & Clip Extender accessories that we can 3D Print. Literally underrated gamepad, Gamesir failed to deliver the correct marketing promotion
Well, you brought a lot of info to me that I didn't even know existed but that is why I gave it an A and also why I had a very positive review on it. You have, in my humble opinion, gave my take all the more validity by showcasing just how niche this controller is, and that is why it pushes this high, don't think of A as being bad, it's pretty impressive when you think of a product that has half a dozen other variant in existence. GameSir is leading (by a large margin) the landslide for this form factor, and that's saying something. But making it an S means that it would cater to every single need in the form factor and I just can't see that to be true.
You don't have a USB-C on both sides, you don't have rumble, you don't have gyro, you don't have wired connectivity, you don't have a candy bar connection in the box, there are a lot of ways that this controller could improve as a market solution, but in the current shape and form that it is? I think it corners every "mandatory" aspects that consumers looking for this solution would want. I hope my scoring makes more sense now but the good news, because it has such a loving community behind it, you can take it from an A and bring it all the way up to an S, and that is awesome, let's hope GameSir will give you that S out-of-the-box for future versions! :)

That's a big ask and one currently not in existence basically. The closest to what you are saying is the M05 because it has the connector, it has antennas but it has no battery! :3 Maybe it could be modded with one but I'll leave that to the bawss tinkerer Shem from RetroBreeze!
Otherwise, it's usually one or the other, not both. The one exception is the MOGA XP-7 Plus that I talk about in this video but it's not a USB-C connector, a big disappointment to be honest. If I was MOGA, I'd do a revised unit with USB-C and rumble because otherwise, It was an AMAZING product!
BSP could also surprise us all with an D11 model but they said that product line was done so time will tell.

@@gatebreaker44 The Kishi V1 is surprisingly good, you'll probably just want to add some type of holder to keep it more stable on your phone but by no means is it a bad controller, quite the opposite.
The one concern I have for you though to be honest, 50 euros seem a bit steep for that controller seeing as it's probably no longer in production? Are you not able to get it cheaper?

Also I've had a gamesir X2pro before and my software experience with it was really bad. Key mapping was a no go essentially. That's why I thought I may as well get the V1 where there is also probably no key mapping but at least hopefully there is no connection issues.
One thing that I always want to know because it's make or break on these controllers is the right thumbstick placement. It's always too low. It's the main thing that keeps me from love the Galileo G8.
You know, lately I've been wanting to see a controller try to have symmetrical sticks but over rather than under or assymetrical, much like the Steam Deck type of thing. I think that could definitely work and the way I see it, sticks maneuvers are way more "cramp inducing" than buttons, so by having them over, I think it would greatly improve the "long session" usage of some of these controllers. Do you think that could be an interesting solution?
@@GameTechTalkthe BSP-D9 has symmetrical sticks that are definitely not very low relative to the D-pad and face buttons, since the D9 is a clone of the the DualSense design. Even the Steam Deck's sticks are slightly below the D-pad/buttons, not above them.
@@ydgmdlu I meant the upper portion of the available footprint, not necessarily the order from top to bottom of sticks and buttons. However, on a traditional controller, due to available space, if the sticks were to be over, the buttons would most likely be under. Sorry for the confusion.

Yeah I figured you meant the X2s Bluetooth, the new model. Quite frankly, I would go X2s Bluetooth. As much as I know the Lightning M10 will work. Once you upgrade your phone, it’ll become e-waste. As for the X2s Bluetooth, it’ll still be good after. They are both ok but to me the X2s is the better product of the two and also, it spoofs as Dualsense which works better with iOS than spoofing Xbox 360 wireless (which M10 does). The M10 only advantage are the two extra paddles but they aren’t in the ideal position for most people.
My vote is X2s Bluetooth personally, and I love the colors!

@@santijr007 Arguably, lighting could be better because of lower latency but with iOS releasing Game Mode extremely shortly, Bluetooth connections will be getting a boost. Also, the difference on everyday use should be trivial, that is why I would recommend to go "function over form" by going Bluetooth.

Despite me not necessarily liking the overall boxy shape of the M05, I can definitely see that it is the better option compared to the M10. I just bought it off of Amazon for only $42. Such a great product for its price tag and is maybe even on par with the controllers that are closer to $100
Totally! And I assure you, it's not my go-to shape either but like Shem said (RetroBreeze), somehow they managed to make it feel different despite looking like other controllers of that same type. I think that perfectly sums up how I feel about the EasySMX M05 shape and I would add that the differences it has makes it more comfortable than the options it looks like. Cheers!

@@danieloku7560 Don't worry, you don't bother me at all, I was editing and taking a break before the last stretch! The X2s has one very specific advantage over the M05 and it is the fact that you can stretch it for a tablet mode. If that is not important for you, don't bother. Otherwise, the M05 is pretty much on all front a superior product as far as I am concerned.

Love the g8 gamesir, however it's twice the price of MOGA xpx7 plus. Really worth IT or it's better to go with moga? Limited funds :( Mosty PSP emulators, maybe the bloodstrike and fortnite on Android
The MOGA is surprisingly good, even by today's standard but the G8 is far superior, without a doubt. With that said, if you get the MOGA at half the price of the G8, I would go MOGA, ride it out for a year or two because right now, the market is moving so rapidly that by the time you've grown out of your MOGA, the market will probably have vastly improved.

Great video, you've got a new subscriber. I'm actually thinking about the ipega pg-9777s since it can stretch too fit my 12.6 inch tablet. Cheap enough at around $45 CAD, so i might take a chance with it. Fingers crossed.
I'll first mention that I have not laid hands on the iPega 9777. With that said, I have had multiple viewers report back to me that it was best to steer clear from it, that it basically was terrible in fact. As the audience trusts me, I decided to trust them 😂. With that said, I do have the BSP-D8 Pro, D9 and D10. I would recommend turning towards one of those instead. I am planning to do a video on them shortly.

I'd say the bsp d3 should have been at least a b. It's pretty good for its price. It works via Bluetooth for android and ios, and can be used wited to a PC. battery life is good as well. Sure it doesn't have some features like analog triggers, it's still really good for its price.
The way I look at it is, it’s not. It’s hardly good at all. But for its price? It’s good. I realize I’m just flipping your words but I do think it changes the meaning of how to perceive this device.
Someone said it very well in the comments, great solution to dip your toes into the market but that should be where it ends in my personal opinion.
If you think about it, 2 BSP-D3 get you a BSP-D8 Pro pretty much, now that’s a great deal. However, during the time that the D3 was released? I would’ve rated it higher because at that time, there weren’t that many options in the low price point. For that, we can all be thankful for the D3 and I certainly am.
What one EASY SMX M15 or the EASY SMX M05 ?
M15 easy.
So the SMX got rated S without having hall effects, above the Gamesir X2s which has same features plus hall effects. Also I would like to mention I've had an absolutely horrible experience with Razer, Ive used the Kishi V1 and Kishi V2, both broke within my first months. Not putting any money on razer on the controller department ever again. Edit: I am happy you put Kishi V2 at D because it is truly horrible and i totally agree the clickiness feel absolutely wrong. After watching the whole video I will have to checkout the Galileo, too many roses thrown at it.
I hear you, so the thing is, Hall-Effect is not exclusively all better, it does become a question of preference and sure, it is great to prevent stick drift, but not for stick resolution. Not for stick jitter. Not for "raw inputs". At the end of the day, some favor hall-effect and that's perfectly fine and legitimate but ALPS is not exclusively all bad, there are positives too. If you watch my M05 review, I talk a bit more about it. As for Razer... Yup. Haven't necessarily experienced what you have but... Not surprised? 😅

I do not have the combination that you mentioned but I can attest to not being able to use the M05 with the case on my Fold 4 and it’s a fairly slim case. With that said, the ultra slim on my iPhone 15 works just fine.
who is the best for fps game ? dead zone sensitive for aimming ?
It’s questionable. I’ve always been a big believer in raw inputs but raw means the missteps and mistakes are also more captured. So much like dead zones eliminate the raw input jitter at base value, too much sensitivity is like bringing that jitter back on stick travel.

Compared to the wired, how is the delay with the bluetooth connection with those gamepad?
Wired is from 8ms to 2ms so far that I've seen on the telescopic market. I'd say 95% are 8ms, the 4 and 2ms are just starting to appear, very uncommon. For bluetooth, it goes from 15ms to approximately 3ms. So that depends, and there are far worst too when it comes to bluetooth but that range is from 1 year old released controllers on average. the bsp d8 pro actually works with the nintendo switch. pretty sure it also claims to have hd rumble, would be curious to see you make a review of that product.
It does work for the Switch, tested it. As for the HD Rumble, it is absolute lie OR there is an iteration out there from a different production batch that does. But rest assured, which I'll cover in the review, that the rumble while there, is definitely not HD and definitely sub-par.

@@normanosborn6236 It's decent but not great to be honest. The hold on the Switch, while functional, is not the best. You're much better off with ergonomic ones. If you don't want to dish the price for Mobapads, which I totally get, check out my review on the COIORVIS HD Rumble pads on my channel. They are amazing and considerably more affordable tbh.

Sure, they both will, the A55 supports OTG so you can connect a controller no problem.

The G8 and G8+ are quite muted, so is the Abxylute S9, but no sound at all is pretty much guaranteed to require a mod of some kind.

When you say type-C, do you mean that has a connector to connect directly to the controller? Because if so, the only one will be the EasySMX M05.
Controller don’t usually have the wired connector AND radio antenna. That’s an anomaly of the M05 essentially. If you mean it’s wireless but charges with USB-C I would recommend either the X2s Bluetooth or the G8+ that I released a review for yesterday. Cheers!

Do very much enjoy my G8 but the 3.5 mm port never works with my Pixel 6. I also wish that data could be transmitted through the USB c port so I could connect to ethernet wile using the device. Otherwise good list, though I'm curious how the M-Con will fit into this list when it is eventually released.
I'd love to hear back from the creator, I tried to reach out but I'm small time and I can't imagine how much buzz the controller generated. Either way, I'll get my hands on the M-Con as soon as it is possible.

It shouldn’t no. If you have a Backbone that does that, it is defective.
@@GameTechTalk I have 2. Black and Playstation edition. My Wife plays with headphones and started to get defected. My still worked fine. Then she played with the Playstation with headphone. It defected too.
@@angelgnievestorres5769 Hmmm. So some headphones flip the polarities, Apple was notorious for doing that. Maybe that’s what caused an issue with the controller? Sorry I wouldn’t know more or anything at all about that issue but I would strongly recommend that you reach out to Backbone as soon as possible. That is not normal.

Odd request, but which controller is the most quiet? Button mashing at night annoys my wife. I currently use the Kishi v1
I was going to say, the Kishi V1 is definitely up there in most quiet, the problem is even the membrane quiet ones will do a bit of noise. But if not the Kishi V1, I'd argue that the Galileo G8 is up there, the membrane is a bit "low pitch" so by being more of a low frequency sound, I find you tend to hear it less than others but for a proper "less noise" experience, you'd most likely have to mod it to dampen the sound even more, something I haven't tried.

I was in the initial hype with the G8, but the lack of app support to configure the stick dead zones became a deal breaker for me personally. The more I play with it the more annoyed I get and I don't feel about using it anymore. Playing warzone, AC Mirage and other similar games makes it pretty noticeable how much you need to move the sticks until movement is registered! Horrible.
Scuf nomad is next on my list even though I am concerned about the BT connection. Not because of BT that is not a problem for me. It is because I won't be able to charge my phone while playing unless I remove it from the controller. Anyway, some high expectations there.
GameSir do not seem to have managed to establish a "buddy buddy" relationship with Apple but I think they are actively trying. That iPad Pro controller is one indication, but also, there is a Galileo G8 MFi edition that was shown at CES but we haven't heard since, all white, so sexy. I really think GameSir is trying to appeal to Apple but until Apple agrees, that is the number one reason for the app on iOS to really be COMPLETELY different than on Android. Everything you just said? You can do all of it and so much more... on Android.
So yeah, I get where you're coming from and I sincerely hope GameSir and Apple can figure things out because more options is best for buyers. As for Nomad... you know I'm already on it! 😉
Does the Galileo G8 have input lag due to bluetooth?

loved this video. about time someone made a modern update to mobile gaming controllers as that market is growing fast with many AAA titles coming out recently and more coming in the future. my fav in the list is the razer kishi ultra. its very similar to the G8. but the big selling point of the razer is that USB C external plug in to a pc or a 13 inch ipad pro.
that way i dont have to carry around 2 controllers.
i can just have the kishi ultra. play on my iphone 15 pro. then if i wanna switch to my ipad pro. I can just plug it in hard wired via USB-C. great feature. sure the 150usd is quite alot of money. but the razer has haptics which the G8 does not. so with that the price can be a bit more justified. and also G8 dont have the external USB-C plug in like the razer one has.
i did test. and nothing happens it just blinks. like it has power but no data signal is coming through. the G8 only has the USB-C for input charging it seems.
The G8 does have external support but you need to use a USB-C female to USB-A male (or USB-C male) which is not a cable most people usually have lying around. You plug the female part on the male of the G8 that usually plugs into the phone/tablet you're using.

Backbone can do this too and through the charging port, so no weird adapter cables. Unfortunately they charge you a subscription fee to do it. The only reason I keep mine around is because I have a lifetime access to Backbone subscription due to lucking out and getting the controller just months before they switched to a subscription model.
somebody knows how to pause usb power delivery on samsung when using a controller? i am using easysmx m15 connected to my s24 ultra and i have a pd 30w charger but for me its not showing its always charing its not enabled but without the controller i can enable it please help... because that feature is useless if cannot be worked with a controller

I'd love to try that controller for sure! Technically for Qi Charging, the MOGA XP-7 Pro does do that and I don't know when that happened but I tried it the other day and it worked on iOS (it didn't before). I might even make a video about that!

By making a controller that only supports iPhone, not Android? That's aIready a bad stance from where I stand, not everyone is iOS locked. However, I have every intention of loving the Nomad if it is as good as I'm hoping it will be. But I'll believe it when I see it, Scuf has a reputation of overpromising and underdelivering. With that said, the Nomad will get its review and when the time is right, a new tierlist will happen, I really enjoyed doing it.

Maybe they’re testing the waters, and releasing an android down the road or making the BT protocol on the nomad android compatible. Scuf has a bad rep online but also, any products that people are dissatisfied with they will let others know, but a positive experience most people will not go online and leave a review.
@@YanFries@YanFries I agree wholeheartedly on people being more vocal about bad experiences than good ones, but as someone that hangs in the "nerd tests everything" kind of forums (I'm one myself 😅), I'm talking more from an objective performance point-of-view, though the hardware seems to often be a point of contention as well. With that said, I'll always form my own opinion and Turtle Beach lately is a great example of that, they also don't always get the best rep and sure, it's not a perfect product but I still was able to give it credit, I'm hoping to be able to do the same with Scuf. Time will tell!

1. It’s iOS only
2. It’s bluetooth and not hard wired
3. It has the Xbox Pro D-Pad style
It looks like a very solid controller, but these alone will make it a nonstarter for a lot of people, myself included.

I'm leaning towards the Atom, especially if you see value in being able to split your controllers. If not, the Kishi V2 Pro does have more features like rumble, 3.5mm jack, wired support.

Gamesir x4 aileron is for hardcore gamer playing with phone cooler attached. Very specific market but it's prob the best.
Lots of people love that feature for that specific reason for sure. GameSir is preparing a pretty interesting product that will provide it all though!

None in this list and now that you mention it, I can't think of one that does in the telescopic mobile space if being perfectly honest. @rolins3279 I definitely prefer the d-pad of the Kishi V1 over the one from the Galileo G8. What I don't like with the G8's d-pad and the ones that do that in general is when the corners are pretty "sharp". I prefer the edges to be rounded, I feel like they land better for longer playtime sessions.

Imagine finding out your ride or die for the past 3 years has reviewed a D. The Kishi V2. I thought I had top tier.. what would I do with an S in my possession? lol I need to upgrade.
There is a fair amount of subjectivity when it comes to controllers so it could remain your "by default" despite trying other solutions but with that said... I'd be extremely shocked if none of the S ones would leave you wanting. Honestly, I would suggest that you go EasySMX M05 or M10 if you don't want to have too drastic a change. But if you really wanna go to a completely different tier, get the G8 or G8+. I have a review of the new one on my channel, it's as far as I am concerned, the very first Tier S+ the market has seen.
