ZOWIE previously delivered a wireless version of the EC series which was met with disappointment. With the Zowie U2 things have changed. As this is a mouse that is improved internally, with a new shape AND it's lightweight! But is it good? Well watch the video, I literally answer the question in it!!!

I wish they made a smaller version
I wish they made a bigger one. 21x11cm hands. Can't use all those children's toys.
@@JuL3r I have 22x11 hands and i play my best on the viper mini which is one of the smaller mice on the market
same, they should have had U1 released as well, I myself have been maining FK1+ for years, U2 is just too small for me.@@JuL3r
@@reflexx8332 I guess you are agressive claw gripping or finger tipping the mose then. I use a relaxed grip, because Im playing a lot of RTS, which needs more hand movement then FPS. I would get cramps if I used some aggressive grip.
same lol, the market is full of small mice already @@JuL3r
I just feel like when I heard the "superlight killer" title back in 2022, I really would've thought it would be like the best mouse, but now there are too many mice that are better than the superlight tbh
Are there any mice that comes to mind that are better than the superlight in your opinion?
There is still no mouse better than superlight2 at the end of the day when it comes to the shape and ergonomics
Majority of mice which are "better" on specs are all very small mice
Maybe the new sora v2 might be close, the proper reviews are not out yet
The super light has a shape that works for everyone just "fine", but it is far from the perfect shape for a specific grip or person.@@goochipoochie
@@goochipoochiealso the Pulsar Xlite V3 comes in bigger sizes than it and is better on specs for example, not to mention the Razers..
Viperv2 and dav3 dump on the superlight, especially if you use side buttons because the side buttons on the superlight are atrocious and spongy.
Got this about a week ago and it's my main. It's incredible. I didn't think they would top the EC2-CW for me but they did.
I honestly find the Zowie scroll wheel one of the best on the market, really nice and notchy and easy to actuate with its weight. So far I'm loving my U2.
I don't have a problem with notchy scroll wheels because I'm not even going to hear them while playing
I have a Superlight 2. The scroll wheel is not that great IMO. Would have been nicer if it was a bit more rigid
man see dock, man happy
If Zowie got rid of its scrollwheel I'd be very sad. I love the ratchety tactile indexing it offers. Also, yes. The Dock rocks
I want this mouse! Telling about zowie iconic scroll wheel, I am a Zowie user and fan since 2014, and during all these years I changed twice from Zowie to other wireless mice, but I do say that I do miss this extra accurate noisy scroll wheel of Zowie! Now I understood that this scroll wheel is a BIG ZOWIE FEATURE AND ADVANTAGE, and Zowie knows that, thats why they don't change it. Love your videos bro, keep on going!
People who can't bunnyhop wouldn't understand how good this wheel is
Not thinking of buying this mouse at all but I actually really appreciate Zowie's scroll wheel. Both my Deathadder v3 pro and GPX 2 had me limbo jumping in CS.
That's why I am switching away from GPX
The U2 is great except for one thing that will only matter for a small amount of users… The usb-c port on the mouse is so tiny, you can’t connect any other usb-c cable to the mouse, except for the garbage rubber cable it comes with. So playing with this mouse while charging, or just wired in general is just pretty much a non option.
I love the big black dock
I liked the shape. How it felt in my hand (a salesman actually took a sample one out for me to try on the desk). But him explaining the dock made me want to take it home. Super convenient and innovative. I’ve used it a week now and still love it even over some lighter mice. Clicks are great for spamming and while the scroll wheel is solid it certainly doesn’t sound like it as he said. But when I’m gaming I don’t hear it lol. New main!! ❤🎉
2:10 that caught me off guard 😂😂😂
superlight has been killed enough, most competitive gaming mice are either more bang for the buck or outright better than the superlight at this point
I don't feel it is even worth its price
@@Drauzet id say the very first superlight killer was the razer viper v2 pro, similar price but way better tech and logi couldnt find a solution or competitor even after releasing a v2
@@everyonehaveaniceday6863 very different shapes. Hates the Viper V2 and had to return it since it was very uncomfortable to use, traded for gpxsl, much more comfortable. The shape is just such a universal good fit
Man, my rival300 is apparently 132g and I've used it for 8-9years straight, hard playing for over 12hr a day back in the day and the weight has never been a problem in the slightest.
I had the superlight 2 at home and bought the sora 4k in the same time... that was the fastest return in history on the superlight 2 as soon as i got to test the sora 4k.
Such an underrated mouse.
I don't really understand how people can logitech get away with those side buttons... there are atrocious.
Hopefully the Zowie is better on those buttons.
I use a claw grip and the side buttons line up exactly where my thumb is...slight movement to tap the buttons and never even thought twice about it.
Love mine
GPX has scroll wheel issues, I have returned my GPX Superlight 4 times now
nowadays, basically every decent mouse is a superlight killer
I just tried this mouse. I can say that the coating feeling is great, it gives a very good grip feeling. I have the Razer deathadder V3 Pro, but I don't like its coating quality, I have to constantly correct my grip grip again and again, it feels rough and the Razer seemed big and long. The length of U2 is quite good, my hand is 18.5x10.5cm. Zowie U2 fills my palm very well, my thumb position is perfect, but since the right side was too thin, I couldn't place my pinkie finger as I wanted. I hold relax claw or pincer claw. So which mouse do you think I would be more comfortable with? Would you recommend Vaxee, endgame or pulsar models?
Hey an S2. Has almost the same shape but standard sides that work with most grip types. ZA if you want more palm contact.
Did you find the side buttons were massive and hit your thumb in any grip? Idk if this only bothers me but Im returning the mouse because of it.
The same. There is no space for a thumb. This mouse is shit.
if zowie makes a god damn ZA wireless i'll nUT. za13 wireless would be god tier for claw grip players. i'd like to try this tho
got ur hands on the op1 8k???
Thank you for the rewiev. I just check the my razer deathadder V3 Pro which side quite big for me last night. The razer hit my index of my hand but I like it hit my palm and like to locked in but right side curve is also feels big and because hump on the middle I can not make control it full and on the other hand it is also longer and wider for me for relaxed claw grip or palm grip. Therefore, I have to make decision between from these 5 mice as sora v2, endgame op1we, zowie u2, vaxee np-01w and gpx 2. Looking for shape for my hand size (185x105mm) also quality, newest switch. gpu for 4K, sensor, lightweight, accuracy, stability and, etc. Which one you should advise? Thanks in advance.
I love the dock and i unironically love the loud as hell scrollwheel. U2 is my new main after abusing the xm1r / xm2we for a few years. Did i mention i also love the D O C K
Another thing I don't like is they didn't make separate M1 and M2 buttons, which always make their clicks too heavy(if you have mained and modded any of their mice, you know what I'm talking about). Their one shell design of main mouse buttons with the body, makes it that instead of relying on the switches themselves for the click feeling(how hard u click and how mushy they feel), it would rely both on the switches and the shells themselves. You can mod it by thinning the middle of the shell by using sand papers, but WHY!!!!?
whats your main mouse and nice review
I prefer the more defined audible scroll wheel on Zowie's. IMO it's better for gaming and it's an esports mouse solely focused on gaming.
Thank you so much for this review! I recently got diagnosed with De Quervain's tenosynovitis and I'm not completely unconvinced to that my g502 didn't have me putting my thumb in an awkward angle to help accelerate it.
Any recommendations for what to look out for for a mouse that helps with avoiding this besides just avoiding inward curves? I was looking at the Sora 4K.
Its a lot of trial and error tbh. I've had significant thumb pain that flares up again with certain shapes (like the U2). The only thing I've learned is that if my thumb feels stiff whilst playing it's going to cause issues. For me most mice that have a flat side wall that I can roll my thumb up to use a side button are always comfortable. I often attribute having to move my thumb too much to use side buttons as a cause of thumb pain as well.
@@DiamondLobbyReviews thanks, appreciate it. Been laying off gaming (thumb splint) so hopefully it resolves itself. Love the channel, keep rocking it!
Hey don't bash Zowie, the sound of the scroll wheel was inspired by mating frogs. Let the Love flow back to Zowie 🐸
I know it might come as a shock but alot of people really enjoy the zowie scroll wheel, its especially good in a game like counter strike where you use scroll to jump very commonly so the pronounced steps really make it feel nice... the sound on the other hand is a different story xD
what is your and yours only opinion on the switches that this mouse and the feelings of said switches
i actually mistakenly cut that part out but basically. mechanical switches are better than most opticals for me in terms of feel. So I like ZOWIES mechanical switches.
mm70 shape mouse is also good for claw grippers. im using a clone and it lives up to my standards (3370 sensor - Rakk Kala)
but rn, im currently thinking to switching to another mouse that would be also good for claw grippers, is pulsar x2 good enough?
Aside from motionsync (which frankly, is akin to the 1k/4k debate - technical improvement, but no realistic differences in practical application), and unlike the 3335, the difference between 3370, 3395 has virtually no difference. The choice of the 3395 sensor was purely a marketing choice due to previous backlash.
I think the front of the shell looks terrible. They should have kept the common front end design with a divider inbetween the paddle. Can't complain about the performance I guess, considering it's Zowie.
Count yall blessing Zowie insist on using optical scroll encoder instead of mechanical ones, that's why it sounds like that. Theres a reason why people say Zowie lasts forever.
Im suprised people even play with their thumb flat, that sounds awful for aiming precise. Especially coming from like a really aggressive fingertip grip, that just dosent sound comfortable for actual aiming.
If you bring this to work your coworker will think it's just another office mouse
I wonder if a light alcohol wiping on the mouse melts down the initial sticky coating?
Praise the dock! 🙆♂
Have u reviewed the attack shark x3 or vxe dragonfly r1 pro? If not can u review it or give me an advice for it
DiamondLobby I just found Keychron M3 Mini 4K a mouse support 4k share similar shape with the Helios II and cost $69. I just wanted to know if you can give thought on it🤔
Hot take... I like the zowie scroll sound. It makes my adhd happy. 😂
"Something called Science" that did make me laugh, it was so unexpected. It was especially funny in your accent 😭🥰🤣
whats wrong with the scroll wheel? i like it
Im really trying to figure out how you made that blue background
By any chance are you planning to review the NZXT Lift 2?
Was excited to try out this mouse but returned it immediately due to the switches. They felt like really bad mushy opticals to me where they had no tactility. I don’t understand having mouse 1 and mouse 2 designs where they aren’t split off from the shell of the body
They're mechanical and can be adjusted with the screws underneath each switch.
in order to use u2 u ned to place ur thumb closer to front btw
question is why bother when dav3 pro is better in every single way?
i mesn the 3395 vs 3370 for zowie means literally nothing people just keep raving on motion sync which the u2 has but the thing is motion sync still was a thing long before the 3370. zowie literally had it in 2016 its just the motion sync tech is just so bad right now but ig zowie did some magic and got it to work good on the u2
Does it even have ptfe skates they’re black?
Will you be reviewing the op1 8k?
Got mine the other day feels amazing. And clicks are not heavy at all they are actually just a bit heavier then the gpx I would say but they feel reallyyy nice
I actually found it pretty weird why they would make a mouse focused on a certain grip only you are either to play claw or sell it
zowie have always designed mice for specific grip types. with their product descriptions they clearly state what kind of grip type it's best for.
Can they pls release in xl size? I heard only m is available
I'm more in favor of mice like the 502 where the thumb can rest on the mouse instead of resting on the mouse pad
The only problem with the mouse with me is overtime the coating wears off so I don’t use mine to much so I use my op1we because I know the finish is going to last
stop talking sht. zowie coatings go on for years. I still have the same feeling since buying one 3 years ago
My thumb is perfectly straight on the Superlight and it's curved to shit on the U2. My hand was in serious pain with the U2 after a couple of days. Guess they should do some more science!
It's designed for claw grip, ofc your thumb will curve. Maybe do some stretches, that really shouldnt hurt your hands lol
isnt it's wheel a bit too deep?
great bro, subscribed.
what is your main mouse?
sora
I’ve learned to love their scroll wheel because of every mechanical wheel causing accidental jumps
how hard do you death grip your mouse that your thumb hurts on any mouse?😅
Lets say, my thumb started to go through Superlight.. Have been playing cs since 1.5. Also my thumb is having issues, not bad but.
@@papat1241you are playing a bit longer than me then. i started with source. and i am currently revising most of what I've learned so far, using aim trainers and watching different aim related content. there are a few things that really stood out to me after pouring a lot of hours into it. if any joint hurts, you better stop and ask yourself why. could be simply too long of a session or a death grip. to combat a death grip which i was also using especially in stressful situations, i heard one good advise: "imagine your mouse is a raw egg". think of it as rather fragile and pay attention to the overall tension in your hand. generally speaking tension isn't bad, but view it more as a tool(similar to sensitivity) that can be called upon in times of need. too much tension leads to injuries, fatigue and also slower and less precise reaction. btw, i also had issues with downward pressure, so i got q glass pad and struggled through the adjustement period. took me a couple of months and some different skates to get used to it. i think i build up the tension issue due to 2 factors. 1 being a too heavy brick of a mouse mx518 or whatever the shit with the weights inside was calle and a general affinity for mudpads. then there's simply bad technique and the brain trying to compensate for a shot that is not confirmed on target. these look sick, but they are more of a inconsistent nature. or bad overall mouse control which usually shows itself quite brutally on glass or a speed pad. the little wiggle at the end. that being said i was able to fix most of it via aim trainers and the correct routines. they take about 1h a day and they do help. buy don't expect this "1 played aimtrainer for one week and now i am unstoppable" type of BS to work. bad habbits take time and effort to iron out. imagine how much time you've spent learning to aim compared to 1 week. it already sounds unrealistic.
is this mouse good for soldier warhuryeah?
yes
I like i people consider the super light still as the mouse to kill.. personally stopped buying them after i couldnt get one without mouse one crunch..
hey bro....nice dock
“I still haven’t found what I am looking for”
this zowie U2 mouse or the ninjutso sora 4k, diamondlobby reviews please dont ignore
sora v2
i personally love the zowie scroll wheels
2:11 i literally burst out laughing at work istg
Very good video - every logitech mouse even from 3$ have better scrool wheel than zowie
All I can think is "Sigh... where's my 3395 wireless FK2?!".
i love the sroll sound haha
130 price point with only 1000hz is crazy
The problem is 1khz to 4/8khz does not make much of a different latency wise. Especially how much a great main button design or proper software implementation gets you. But it is far less useful for marketing.
i loved its shap wthiout edges
Thoughts on Rapoo VT9 series?
The turtle mouse will never die.
I rly dont mind the scroll wheel at all
man if they can get the ECW ERGO down to that weight 60g would be a beast
xlite v3
Killer of both: Pulsar X2H Mini with Pulsar Superglide Skates and Supergrip Tape
U2 is simillar to S2, so zowie should release U1 for peoples with bigger hands. I returned U2 because of size, terrible scroll and bad skates. Razer viper v3 pro might be gpx killer ( new vp spotted in pro tournaments). Lamzu maya is next gen gpx but again 😠its to small.
really excited to see zowie finally making something competitive, thanks for the video :>
I guess I'm the only one that likes Zowie's scroll wheel.
month after i bought the za 13 c lol
Za13 is god tier shape
I really dont get Zowie, they took 2 years developing this mouse and still come with that same heavy ass scrollwheel. they should fire people by now.
The dock makes up for the bad scroll wheel
Why am I the only one that likes the scroll wheel? (Yes even with the sound)
There is no space for a thumb, keep hitting the big side button. I am gonna sell it and keep my g pro x
Logitech Superlight Gen 2 still on top
Only difference of gen 1 is battery life and usbc right? I got gen 1 and used my homies gen 2 noticed 0 difference. Superlight on top in general.
@@user76978 factsssss
@@user76978there's like 20 diff mice prolly more that's better than superlight 💀
also you reviewed this literally as soon as it dropped lmao wait a few months to stop the beta tester mouse drops haha
Praise the dock
fact of the matter there is no superlight killer right now
u just need a bigger version to fix ur thumb pain
any dockers :)
Morton Knolls
Bought U2 on pre order and it went back into the box within 24 hours. First of all the build quality is great and there is nothing wrong with the mouse but compared to GPX 2 the shape and button feel do not work for me. I like to palm my mice or relaxed claw grip, not this weird spider claw shit these zoomers are doing. As soon as I plugged my GPX 2 back in everything was right at home and I did not think twice about it. The lightness of the clicks and shape are just superior to me. The base station is kind of a non issue considering GPX 2 lasts 2 weeks or more even at 2K polling which is the sweet spot.
I love dock
Deathadder V3 already killed superlight
Idk why do people wanna enjoy double click issues 😂 like bro I bought superlight twice and faced same ducking issue

cmon bro i cringe when i read titles like this but havent watched the video yet and since u are a master troll i might be jbaited
wtf m.shadow now review mouse ehhh
was about to order one but the end of the video with the shit wheel again and the same ole coating problems.. gotta fucking skip this again. fuck
на сегодняшний день у данной мышь очень большие задержки на кликах и даже в проводном режиме,своих денег не стоит явно.
I see you are a dock person.
