Thanks for all the useful videos. I do have an issue with my 2022 Highlander and trying to get the multimedia system setup the way my wife wants it. The problem is that we both have Bluetooth hearing aids. She wants to use the system in the car for making and receiving calls hands free, however she wants the phone conversation to stay coming through her hearing aids and not go through the speakers in the car. We both have android phones, so we have tried Android Auto. You can poke around and get the desired setup, but it takes a lot of time when you first get into the car to get it right. The system appears to not be able to remember the settings for a given driver. I have been on the phone with Toyota support, and they said to talk with a salesman at the dealership. Not of these efforts have proven fruitful. Another question, is it possible to update the software in a 2022 highlander to the software in a 2023 highlander?
My understanding is navigation is an add-on to the 2024 RAV4 hybrid LE and XLE and is SUBSCRIPTION ONLY. My question is how much for the add-on and monthly subscription cost and is it worth the total cost and extra wait? Thanks.
Not worth it if you have an android or ape phone. I recently (6/13/24) just bought a tundra trd pro and my wife and I still don't understand the "toyota" navigation feature. I would love help, but google maps is much easier to use through my phone. This is just a CASH GRAB feature that doesn't offer any functionality.
Is there a way to see traffic lights on Toyota grand highlander navigation system(not with google or iphone maps). If yes then can you please make a video or Tell the option to use to set it.
I have a 2016 Highlander. I updatef the nav chip about 2 years ago. What I am now experiencing 'unstable navigation'. Some times the app will simply shut down to blank screen, then at other times it may try restart but has lost the destination data. At times it will give screen dialoge "chip unreadable" or somewording to the same affect. This instablity is a problem when I drive in unfamiliar territory. Have you any suggestions. Thanks for your reply. What I meant was can I start out on a random ride, not already in navigation system, and have it record the ride as I go so that I can pull up this saved/recorded ride at a later date? Some of the motorcycle navigation systems do this. Thanks

I have a 2020 ORP 4runner. My navigation always gets me close to destination but doesnt say which side. So being in a city and a 3 lane road its a pain because you miss it and still have to find it. Is there a better navigation I can install?

IT will show recent destinations but not the last route like where you started if that is what you are asking
