The best is Japanese toilets. No work for hands.

Using jet spray is the best method

Really bhai
True kaha....aisa method sahi
I use it for years
In Philippines, we use water and soap and then we use tissue to dry our butt.
ð
Is it easy for you, to bent your hand behind the butt . When u use soap.
Donât use tissues to dry your butt. use only water ðŠ
Rajni Sharma ðâïž
Momodou Sanneh ðð
Japanese have it absolutely nailed. Warm pressurized water to get rid of most of the crap, then tissue paper if you need it to dry and mop up anything left. The most expensive toilets even have a warm air blower. Never have I felt so thoroughly cleaned than after using a Japanese toilet. ð
ðâïž
That's nice and automated. In India people use jet spray bidet (these days) and towel to wipe. But yeah the towel is exclusive to the individual and ought to be washed everyday.
After using water all that feeling of wet it's all are in our mind ...why should we use towel or toilet paper to wet butt to dry it just wait ...i only use water i'm used to it.its natural and comfortable.butt gets dry within 5 minutes

This video is super helpful. I just came to Canada today and I got to know that I should flush the toilet paper rather than put it in trash. Was worried about the clogging initially.

As a muslim, we wash our butt with water until the faeces(najis), the smell and the taste(feel sensation) are gone, then we consider it as clean, thats, why water is important in cleaning, toilet paper does not ensure the smell and the sensation part, it is less or not clean
alif razin ð
I agree...because the toilet paper wont guarantee it is really clean and make the smell gone..must use water to make it really clean ...and later use the toilet paper to dry that part..this is the right way , trust me you ll be more comfortable
nazwar share Bursa and global channel ðð
Let's be clear that cultural differences in methods does not mean one way is wrong and the other is right or one is clean and the other is NOT clean. Next, NO ONE can SEE their butt to know for 100% that it IS clean...we are all going on what we "think" or "feel" is clean....you could use water and not have gotten everything off just as you could use paper and not have gotten everything off. We all just THINK we are clean when we are done. It is all perception. I doubt anyone is going to hold mirrors up to check their butt every time, otherwise toilets would already have mirrors built into them. Accept that there are multiple equally-valid methods that get the same result. It is great that the human mind is able to be so clever in so many ways!
@@user-jy3zl2vp4b if there is brown still on the toilet paper after use, its not clean down there still. Usually using water eliminates more of the lasting filth. So I would say water is clearly better. I've done both and you can feel the difference. But it would also require you to wash your hand thoroughly afterward.
Water lol itâs common sense tho. Like if you stepped on poop you will use water, so same for cleaning ahha

This was interesting!
As for your question, if walking down the street with your sandles or bare feet and you step on animal poop, should you use a paper towel or water?
Water is best.
If you are lucky to have access to both paper and water, use both, one to wash off, the other to dry. If nothing available, try to get foot cleaned a.s.a.p. to prevent infections especially between toes.
Once experienced the spary will start loving it. A water spary before paper is perfect â€ïž

Hahahaa same happend with me...with my children
I think I can utilize both .. I'm arab so I use water but I understand the approach of the " dry is clean " in the west so it will be even better if you wipe with toilet paper after cleaning with water to dry so you get both benifits

I even have problems with the Western toilets...
Karthick Raja what kind of problems?
@@chaiandcoaching Indian style toilets are different, they have different sitting arrangement in which we sit completely, while in western toilets we sit half, so in case of indian toilet I feel easy to do the job, actually in india we say that the person who spent less time in toilet(less than 2minutes) is more healthy and who spend more time in toilet he/she is more ill, so we sit in different pose for few minutes and our job is done, while in western countries usually people take more time to do their job in toilet, one reason is the climate(coldness leads to constipation etc) second due to cold environment the joint of knee in western people is more stiff and less flexible so they are not able to sit like indians
super helpful thanks

Guys, leaves or similar things were used for cleaning the back in places where water was not available. Then people changed to tissue paper. This practice was necessary in places where the water freezes in winter. However, now there are robust heating systems that keeps water as liquid and warm during winter. So, it's the time to think about installing bidets in all the washrooms and practice using it. Of course, after using bidets, it's better to use a toilet paper to rub the water and throw it in trash. Finally, use a hand washer and sanitizer to clean the hands.
People from Asian countries are using this method for centuries but they might have used cloth towels instead of tissue papers and simple toilet soap instead of hand washes.

Thank you for this important subject.

This is the best shit talk I ever had .. very educational keep it up ð

haha, good tips. I'm in the opposite position, in India and wondering how to use the water jet and making a video for my channel :)
Hehe great! The water jet spray takes some practice for us westerners.
Very interesting ð

Water all the wayððŸ
everyone: toilet paper vs water
me: baby wipes

One suggestion for Sid. While pouring the water, pour it from the back by leaning forward. Works better that way. Water is better - more eco-friendly.
Love Japanese toilets, though.

First I want to thank you both it is really a helpful video, I came to the UK and I know they use toilet paper but I didnât sure where they throw it, I just has the idea that not possible to throw paper on the toilet also was have in our country some alarm on toilet written on it âdonât trough the paper toilet in the toiletâ I just think like who will do that we use paper to Dry after water but we throw it in the trash, ð thank you again

No disrespect though but it still puzzles me. America, Canada,, Australia New Zealand are one of the most advanced countries and yet they still think wiping only is the best way to actually be clean. ITS POOP . WOULD YOU JUST WIPE OF MUD ON YOUR FACE WITH A PAPER ? I dont think so.

For real. I just discovered it today. It's disturbing me.

The analogy the same: I'd rather clean my foot with paper first, then water, and never touch the poop itself with my bare hand as much as possible.
Eww.
I live in Western world when I going to any vocation I putt the one botel our bag .when I going to bathroom toylet I clean with water then I use toylet papar .

The reason why water is the best because it can interact with other substances.
Water is best solution. First time I came to foreign country, when I entered into washroom I was literally shocked not to see any jet there. My baby pooped and it was so much difficult to clean with dry tissue. I am sure it's not the clean way because you can get infection. Atleast they should have both options (jet as well as tissue) for people who want to use water. Now I am using bucket with mug at homeðand planning to carry one bottle whenever I will step out.
ð
Here in Iran we use water and then toilet paper to dry it!
ðâïž
Last summer I crouched in the woods with pants down. Suddenly three women cames and one brought me paper. Thank you, but it was so awkward, what do you think?
I love jet spary...
ð
In bathroom in my college hostel , instead of bucket there is a movable shower attached with the wall.
ð
In India I guess rn nobody uses just cups and wash those stuffs with bare hands , 90% Indians uses sprayer , it's more convenient and saves time ð ( just my opinion)
ðâïž
Also, there are some stools on amazon which help you achieve "squat" position
ð
Cool

He said lots of flavors instead of scents... lol ð¥°ð
Oh Hehe ð€£ð
Dude .. ofcourse water wins.. but I wont be carrying a waterbottle for sure.. will adapt to both and make the best of ehat i have
I'm from Borneo and we use water. For us water is cleaner

Iâm an African American man. When I was 4 or 5 years old I taught myself how to use water & tissue to do #2
ð
Nice video guys! I myself prefer water, but as mentioned you got to adapt to the situation. So, for those of you who don't carry wet tissues, when you have to use the public toilet, before you get in, pull off a good amount of tissue get it wet and then go do your business, after just wipe off with the dry followed by the wet. This still gives me a clean sensation rather than just a dry wipe.

As an African-American girl, I use wet wipes, water bottle for travel and bar of soap in the purse to go with a water bottle.
So, I carry a water bottle with a soap bar to public place do my natural disgusting business pour a little water in hand then rub the soap in hands and latter bottom and wash off with water bottle. Lazy way wet wipes and go.
And when I have had a long day I use body wipes too for my body to stay clean.
Dominique Ransom thanks for sharing!
@@chaiandcoaching No problem, I hope these videos help those who do not do this and would like to try. So, I made the details dummy-proof lol!
Dominique Ransom ðð
@@ItsMeTotally that sounds like the way to go. Wet wipes are the real MVP man. Been using them for 10+ years and haven't looked back ð
man if you stepped on shiite then water & soap all the way! to make sure there's no lingering residue & smell ð€£
Bidet sprayerðââïž

Water
When anyone tells paper is clean then tell them to smell after cleaning with paper. When they eat they shouldn't be cleaning with water and use paper instead, like eat Jolo chip or super spicy food with hands, then clean with paper and put your fingers into your eyes lol
ð
They eat with forks. Not hands
Induan way is the most suitable way
SL4VIRUS which way?
Watching this today because I just landed in Serbia , and confused about using toilet paper instead of water. Wish every western toilet had a mobile tap as well as toilet paper. . ðð
ð
In Bangladesh, many people including me use toilet paper first, then water to fresh clean, then use toilet paper again...
Speak Truth ðâïž
Wot a developing country
I use a portable bidet, toilet paper and then a wet wipe.
ðâïž
Nice vedio

I found the perfect combination to be tissue first and then wet wipes to finishing it up. As long as we donât literally touch our own shit with the fingers I think we are sufficiently clean
Man its Gross ð²

If you buy vegetables or fruits what is American way of cleaning? Will you wipe with paper or water? What strategy you follow to clean used dishes? Wipe with tissue or with water it and clean it? Best way of cleaning is with water. No doubt. May be you can dry after washing with water and wipe with a paper towel. No arguments..
ð®
I like the US way because your hand never directly touches "stuff". I'll always be a paper first person wherever absolutely possible. Wet wipes are the happy medium. I always use those second, but could see using water second equally. I just don't know how not to make a mess doing that.
We use water and soap then dry it with toilet paper. Bidet is the best because it has a pressurized water to clean your butt.
But when in travel, we bring wet wipes plus toilet paper for that since not all public toilet have water.
Even when using water and soap, personally, I never touched the "stuff" with hands ð. That's so ewww. I don't think anyone does that. Otherwise they would wash their hands not just once but multiple times if that happened.
When it comes to this issue, it's America vs. the rest of the world
MrKockabilly oh really? Why is that?
1st pray then wipe is the best
ðâïž
I was actually wondering What people actually do with the tissue paper, that do they use it after cleaning the butt with water or they don't even use water .
We Indians are actually use water always to clean up .
Btw thanks for clearing the doubts and issues of everyone. You guys did a great job ðð

I have another thing to add.....in an IDEAL situation, to clean yourself you would need 1) Friction 2) water 3) soap. But in any situation you make do. Since I am an American (scientist) I believe those are important IN THAT ORDER. Because I think friction is more important than water...but elsewhere they think water is more essential. But to my way of thinking friction is what gets you clean and water just takes it away...and soap lowers the surface tension to make the process faster. So your example of cleaning a foot covered with manure with a cup of water, to me is not clean because there is not friction...and it is not clean enough to go make your lunch WITH THAT FOOT. So when we wash our hands, we are scrubbing them together...with the water....not just pouring some water on them before we make our meals. So in an American toilet ...the friction is the form of wiping...even though it is a dry toilet paper....the friction cleans, and the TP takes away the dirt. Just like you can clean a table with a dry rag...you are using friction to clean off the crumbs and spills. A wet rag uses water & friction. AGAIN, around the planet it all methods seem to be working to clean our butts - so everyone stop panicking and thinking someone else is wrong!! Humans are creative in their problem solving....there are multiple ways to complete the job!
Finally someone with common sense! Also as a nurse I can see some problems arousing while using water only: water alone is not enough, do get your butt free of gems you would need to use soap! (This is why we shower at the end of the day). Secondly, if used incorrectly, bacteria can be splashed on other parts of your body like the vagina. And- if you are not trying off completely, gems have the perfect environment to grow!
Bro no way toilet paper is as effective as even water without soap. If u have to sniff somebody's bottom, u want to be sniffing the guy who washes with water. Not the guy who leaves microscopic poop smears all over their butt from toilet paper. It may be dry and there might not be brown on your tp but it's still not save to sniff or eat off of lol. Coming from and american.
Which planet bro.
I mean being a scienctist how foolish are you we don't just use water we rub our butt with left hands and some soap on it how can u just say friction is enough it is never scientifically proven
Also water is one of the most universally accepted way of cleaning
You clean ur butt with paper okay with the help of friction so do u even clean ur clothe with paper with the help of friction??? Bro friction can Only when work when there is complete measurements of square not just on shapeless stuff I hope u realize soon Mr scienctist
My foot I wonder who even gave u the title or you making ur own just trying to be wannabe
Thank you I
@@lamztech0149 Did you finish reading my statement. ALL METHODS have been working for centuries. So it doesn't matter which method you use. I was stating an opinion....but by no means is my method the ONLY way to get the process done in a clean manner. Calm down. Humans have many ways of addressing issues. The method doesn't matter if they all do the job!
@@user-jy3zl2vp4b so I too say that but what u meant is u said only washing with water isn't enough who the hell only uses water we rub with soap and then after cleaning we dry it btw what do u use for bathing? Do u still use tissue paper for bathing with the help of friction???
Mr scienctist I wonder who even titled u that.
Think more and speak less broð€

Lota is the best.

Was told be a gastroenterologist that wet wipes can cause irritation around the anus. I think if you use good quality toilet tissue it does a good job

Another analogy.. will u eat food on a plate thats cleaned with paper towel or water?? May be try and see :p

You can have a better hack... put a small hole on the cap of that bottle... press the bottle and you have for yourself a handmade faucet... lol

Water is a clear winner and btw that's not how we wash man he got it wrong you gotta take the pitcher of water with your right hand and go behind your back and slowly pour it while your left hand also behind your back does the washing kinda like when your have handcuffs behind your back
Kevinly ðððð€£
people actually do both. none of them is wrong.
everyone has their own different style, there is no wrong or right, what people should keep in mind is your thumbs are the limit if your thumbs and wrist are wet you are doing it wrong.
Om Kar hehe, Iâve never heard this before about the thumbs and wrist.
@@chaiandcoaching yes... That's the way.. this is actually applied for both eating and sanitary purposes. You shouldn't cross the line which you get while you fold your palm. It's because its generally easy to wash your hand and you can even wash it single handedly and also your sleeves and garments won't get wet in the process and you can also flick your fingers lightly to get rid of the excess water or any wet substance (while eating) easily. Also it keeps most of your hand clean while eating or sanitary works. Sometimes you need to use your thumb while eating but only the upper portion of thumb should be used in the process. Like if you want to pick up some paneer you use index finger and midlle finger along with the tip of your thumb. While breaking a roti you should fold your bread in half press the front portion of the bread with your index finger and torn it using your middle finger and tip of the thumb. In short use least of your hand while eating and washing.
