I have a Korean friend and she looks 25 at 39 but she does not follow any such cleansing routines. She does however eat a lot of traditional Korean foods which look super healthy and nourishing
It really doesn't matter if you look aged....why is it important to look younger than your age...every age has it's own beauty...it's more important to be healthy than younger....just eat right, sleep well, exercise well and be happy
I started using Korean products and the Korean skincare method about 9 months ago and my skin changed tremendously!! More plump and hydrated and radiant! My fav is 7 skin method for hydration, snail mucin products, hyaluronic acid and peptides are in pretty much all my products that I use, also use vitamin C
My Korean friends said they never or barely do this "10 steps K skincare routine"...haha, they said it's just a trend suddenly became so popular on the Internet...lol.....
I’m 53. People keep stating genetics, but that plays a small part. I eat moderately well (I like junkfoods every now and then), I exercise a few times per week, stay hydrated, and stay away from harsh chemical based products. I also supplement my diet with whole food vitamins. I DO use collagen capsules, because I’m a little older, and massage my face and neck every day. I moisturize with a lightweight oil. Genes do not matter if you do not take care of yourself in the first place.
Lovedontel J totally agree with you, im 48, fortunaty still able to pass for 30, many people say I owe to my rather cute 5'2'' stature and genes..I always compare to other younger guys of almost same height but still look much older.. genes.. it is an advantage but if you care for it, but I started using skin care product since in my teen.. it pays off..
Well might be for Korean it’s work for Asian it might not yes I do facial massage with pure coconut oil and yes it works it all depends on the person skin as far i believe ... Hit like if you guys are agree with me .🙂
You forgot to mention some other things... like drinking lots of water, exercising, doing yoga etc. These methods do more good than that superficial skincare
27 this month and I’ve been doing these since I was 12, I won the genetic skin lottery of been black with Asian grandparents so I know I naturally look a bit younger but seeing people often think I’m only a couple years older than my 15 year old sister I think there’s something to this.
For meI think the weather was much affect too ,I live in Thailand and the weather here was extremely sticky hot and dusty.....so it's hard to deny the irritation wich lead to the acne or just like that lemon effect that red mark on the face.
NO.PLEASE GOOGLE:SUN EXPOSURE CAUSES WRINKLES.ALSO PLEASE GOOGLE:SUN EXPOSURE CAUSES CATARACTS. ALSO PLEASE REMEMBER THAT NO SUNSCREEN OR SUNGLASSES BLOCK ALL OF THE SUN'S RAYS.FOR 100% PROTECTION FROM THE SUN FOR YOUR FACE AND NECK YOU NEED TO WEAR GOOD HATS(NOT STRAW OR CLOTH HATS.LEATHER OR VINYL COWBOY HATS OR OPAQUE PLASTIC SUN VISORS) ONLY GO OUT WHEN THE SUN IS DIRECTLY ABOVE YOUR HEAD (FROM NOON TO 2 P.M.)AND DONT LOOK UP INTO THE SUN.ALSO ONLY SIT IN THE 100% SHADE OF BUILDINGS NEVER IN THE SHADE OF A TREE OR UNDER AN UMBRELLA OR UNDER A CLOTH AWNING BECAUSE THE SUN GETS THROUGH ALL OF THOSE THINGS.Also if you live in a safe area you can go out after dark.
I have acne prone skin all of my life. Tried mostly everything in the market and on my 14th Dermatologist. Last month, Costco offered House of Seoul skincare. It's a suitcase full of Korea's best and most popular products. I've been using it a little over a month and the most noticeable change in my skin are my pores. Because of my acne problems, I have large pores like worst then a strawberry fruit. After using the Korean products for just a month, my pores have improved to the point that it looks like I have no pores. It's amazing!! The kit includes everything from cleanser to oil for face. It is also numbered so you don't have to guess which product to use next. I ended up buying 5 cases from Costco as it was also $30 off. I love it! Won't go back to anything else.
Also Avoid drinking alchool and cigarettes ... Sleep well ,eat your veggies , drink water and have a few interests that you practice on a regular base.(for happiness ) And give yourself a clay mask weekly . I just turned 50 ..my skin is better then ever .
I am 47 and started a Korean Skin Care routine 9 months ago. I have combination skin, age spots, and a bit of Rosacea. It has made a huge difference for me! I learned about the ingredients and products from a YuoTuber, Gothamista. I purchase the majority of my skin care from Soko Glam.
Koreans 10 step skincare includes Oil based cleanse Foam cleanse Exfoliate Toner Essence Serum ampoule etc Eye gel Sheet mask(15mins) Moisturiser or night cream Spf(day)/sleeping mask(night) Its years of hardwork They dont only work hard for skin but for everything, they put their hearts into everything they do.They are equally respectful and hardworking No makeup can do or give the skin they have... Used Korean skin care and noticed my skin changed from dry, pimples, dark marks from picking my face... to almost flawless skin. Less blemishes and skin stays hydrated all day😍 can go to your local HMart or Korean grocery to get a box to products in US
Vivekanand Singh sure I use a drop of liquid soda and baking soda to exfoliate once or twice a week. I then use Korean kit box called “ The history Whoo”; essential line. My kit has four steps. Has done wonders for dry skin and cleared my skin!
They emphasize skincare in their early life(since teenagers) and their weather is not sunny. My ex boss who is a Korean told us that even youngsters in Korea did surgery, of course not all of them did. So, that's it. I would recommend Korean skincare so much! I have acne prone skin and I tried a lot of products, it seems like Michael Todd's (US brand), Klairs(Korea), Cosrx(Korea), Some By Mi(Korea), and Naruko(Taiwan) is my best voted brands. Our skin is different so results may vary.
I can say Koreans have some really good products for skin care with ingredients which you don't find in the West. Beside that they use those ingredients in high Content (70% up). I use a snail mucin product and I swear is the best thing in my life. I am still young so I can't say yet if there will be any benefits for the future( I hope there will be) . But it improved a lot the texture of my skin and I don't have any issues with acne like I did in the past.
I’m 38 and look 28 , no wrinkles. All I do is moisturize my skin with Vaseline, before bed and put it under my daily moisturizer every day. Exfoliate once a week with sugar n lemon very gently and of course, remove my makeup before bed with Vaseline. That’s it.
I'm from South Africa and everywhere were I have to give out my ID people refuse to believe that I'm 33yrs, common age ppl think I am is 25. What I can say is, not drinking alcohol and a lot of intake of water and enough sleep does the magic for me.. not forgetting to walk or run every now and then.. I'm not a veggie eater but my spinach and carrots are also doing me good. Thought to share ;-)
Andres Well in some ways...you're right, but I live in the tropics so on average daily I spend at least 1hr to 2hrs in the sun minimally. A maximum day of exposure for me is 4hrs depending on work or city walking. I noticed minimal signs of sun damage happening so that's why I said to minimize sun where necessary. @Andres Well...thanks for your info and concern. I'll do some research on this topic of melainin concentration, sunlight and vitamin D production. You've peaked my interest in this topic.
Nina Star Before you damage your skin in the sun, remember that you can take Vitamin D supplements to make sure you are not deficient. It sounds like you already get plenty sunlight.
Well, my father is African and he's 56 and he looks like he's in his early thirties. When people see us together they assume he's my brother or my man ( the man part is disgusting). He says being in the sun makes him look youthful and he says black people don't need sunscreen because our melanin protects us from the sun and he's African and Africa is very sunny.
I stay in korea now , and its true ,their skin care routine is good and i believe their sauna practice also plays a major role, food and climate is one of most important factors too, they have a big cleansing process bcz they do a lot of makeup generally, as a foreigner i feel like their skin will look really good and healthy with less makeup on their face, but ya i cant tell that to them, bcz they consider it offensive, but i suggest plz take care of ur skin as u already hv a good skin
UNLEASHING POTENTIAL - PSYCHOLOGY VIDEOS Yep, they do these things as they will be considered outcast if they don't look *young and beautiful beyond expectations* rather looking like a normal and average person.
The original oil of olay (the pink) is amazing. I've used it for years an no complaints. I'm 44 an petty happy with my skin. I've tried others an always end up back with it. Plus it smells great❤
Vitamin c should be used in the day as it provides the skin protection against free radicals and pollutive stress. It should always be paired with an spf 30 or above as the vitamin c makes the skin more sensitive to the sun.
A guy went to Korea(don't know which one) for plastic surgery and when he was about to return to his home country, he got detained at the airport by the security officers cause he was looking so different, compared to how he looked before in his passport. 😰
If you're lazy to follow all of these steps here are some quick tips. 1- eat healthy 2- drink tea 3- quit smoking and drinking 4- massage your face I hope this helps
My bedtime routine Watch videos for skincare And enhancing beauty Sleep with a promise to follow the routine from next morning but After I get up I just forget every thing and Continue as usual Who all are my siblings
I switched entirely to Korean skincare products during the pandemic. I had always done a multi-step regimen, so I only needed to make a couple of adjustments. I do a triple cleanse. The first is just with mildly hot water, then I use my cleanser with my exfoliating Buff Puff then rinse. Next, I shave, rinse and use my cleanser a second time. I pat dry then do my serum & moisturize. It really doesn't take very long. The Korean products are the best I have used. I have glass skin. The color is even and my complexion is clear and smooth. I recommend trying them.... I use a combination of products from COSrx, Mizon & Niacid by Slurp Laboratories. There's a huge, HUGE difference for me. The Niacid in particular does wonders to even out your coloring. It breaks up hyperpigmentation and melasma. I'm coming up on the one year mark in September. I couldn't be happier. I'm glad I took a chance.
Me came back from China after living more than year and heard I looked much younger than before. I believe it was all because of Asian diet full of vegetebles, drinking lots of water and the Gym. Being there really helped me rejuvenate.
#1 rule. Diet. Clean healthy diet. You can use all the best things ON top of your skin but if you’re not cautious about what your putting inside of your body, the outside will reflect that in time.
Am korean living in Sydney. 37 years old. Using any cream and don’t wash my faces for days when J don’t go out. But whenever I buy cigarettes cashier asks my ID. I can tell genes?!? Maybe??
Haha. Do not be fooled that those youthful looks are achieved with vitamin C. Korea is the plastic surgery capital in the world. One in three women between 19 - 29 years undergoes plastic surgery. Just saying.
Well.. I'm Korean. We are also Asian what's different? We have a lot of amenities such as grocery stores, medical clinics, and banks for making life convenient etc... These are so close. We don't need driving or walking so far. So, We do a lot of indoor-living especially in city-life. It means We are not so much exposed to UV(ultraviolet) light. That is why Korean skins look a little better.. of course except personal gine.. Sorry my english but I trying to my best english for explain. I hope you can understand my english guys :/
Interesting. Western countries are into Korean skin care. In Korea are into French , American ,British skincare. I know ,I visited S. Korea many times. Plastic surgery and western skin care is in in Korea.🤣🤣🤣
I am gonna try this but then remembered that I watched some skin care videos on TH-cam yesterday, swore that I will make conscious effort to take care of my skin. I got my newly ordered skin care products recommended on one of the numerous TH-cam videos I watched, delivered to me yesterday( I was so excited about it) but I still slept with my make-up on same yesterday
No7 makes a great skin care line that contains peptides and it's also cruelty free. I've been using their products for a few months now and I see a drastic change in my skin. I am not being paid for this recommendation

Yes

"Skin food" is a wonderful k skincare company. I highly recommended the egg white face wash, that is all I have tried but I absolutely love it!
Very knowledgeable! Where can I buy Korean products? Any suggestions? Please help!🙏😄
Have a nice day everyone!❤
You too sweetie♡
Me came back from China after living more than year and heard I looked much younger than before. I believe it was all because of Asian diet full of vegetebles, drinking lots of water and the Gym. Being there really helped me rejuvenate.
Who all are begin to follow Korean skincare routine just by watching kpop and series like me 🤣😂🙌
Me😅😅😅
My fav video of yours so far!!!!
#1 rule. Diet. Clean healthy diet. You can use all the best things ON top of your skin but if you’re not cautious about what your putting inside of your body, the outside will reflect that in time.
jana marke that's key
Thank you very much
Am korean living in Sydney. 37 years old. Using any cream and don’t wash my faces for days when J don’t go out. But whenever I buy cigarettes cashier asks my ID. I can tell genes?!? Maybe??
Smoking cigarettes will make you look old after some time
And you smoke too!
No, cashier just asks everyone for their ID
Lol 😂 you nailed it
chawangchwang0218 it’s the law to ask for ID in NYC now...when I was 10 they would just give me the cigarettes when I went to the store for mom...lol
Very helpful😍💜❤️💙💚❤️
I guess she is talking about a celebrity korean or a korean born with a golden spoon in his mouth 😂

🤣😂 the snails 🐌 I couldn’t stop laughing!😆
Veronica Servin ahahahah, disgusting! poor snails 🐌 :(
They are naturally beautiful
Haha. Do not be fooled that those youthful looks are achieved with vitamin C. Korea is the plastic surgery capital in the world. One in three women between 19 - 29 years undergoes plastic surgery. Just saying.
I use all Korean skincare care products. My cleansers, serum and moisturizers are all top Korean brands. I have normal/sensitive skin.
I'm Korean. I don't agree with this video.

When you already do most of these! I'll check into peptides
Well..
Plastic surgery and western skin care is in in Korea.🤣🤣🤣
incredible
i use Mary Kay products for my skin care regimen.. they're great!
I liked the video!
My mummy did not like bright side but then she saw this video and she liked and subscribed straight away
It also depends on stress levels, genetics, environments and weather around you..
TH-cam turning into KoreanTube 😂😂
😂 😂 😂 I think soo
I think that too
Seriously...😂😂🤣😂
Yeah... May be because of K-pop and Kdramas.. I'm Army 😍😍
Be happy ..you will look great ...
No7 makes a great skin care line that contains peptides and it's also cruelty free. I've been using their products for a few months now and I see a drastic change in my skin. I am not being paid for this recommendation
