Anyone else enjoy when the rude tourists get yelled at ?
Yes i do .The louder the better imo.
Very much so. A fog horn could be used to make them louder.
Yes but don’t like when better than though blondes won’t move till they get a pic!😂😆🤣
Yes, I do.😂
🙋🇧🇷
I THINK IT WOULD BE A VERY GOOD IDEA, IF TOURISTS WERE NO LONGER ALLOWED TO TOUCH THE HORSES . A LITTLE LESS CHAOS, AND A LITTLE MORE CO OPERATION.
Is your caps lock stuck?
@@j.ksmith7432 NO. I'M WRITING I CAPITALS , SO THAT PEOPLE CAN HEAR ME.🇬🇧😊 HA HA.
@@ginettechiverton7113😂
@@ginettechiverton7113 FAIR ENOUGH! 😂😂😂
Agree. Plus why do people yell and let their children yell around the Guards and horses?Very rude.
I would not stroke someone’s dog without their permission !
1. It’s impolite
2. It might bite
So what right do ppl have to stroke a whacking great army horse !! With an ultra trained Guard sitting on it ! Madness 🤣
Absolutely agree 👍
It's MoD / military policy.
I would be afraid my horse would get sores from all the constant touching. One does not know what those people's hands have been in. Poor babies.
@@leahjwilliams7003 Ever ridden a horse? Did you notice many saddle sores?
Touching the horses is allowed. Just not the reins.
This part of the job is being a tourist attraction!
Or perhaps you thought sitting on a horse in that uniform serves some military purpose? !!
Every Tourist that poses for a photograph should be required to pay one pound to the Soldiers welfare fund
Yes yes
THAT should be mandatory 👍
Exactly I wonder how many people would want their pictures taken if they had to pay I definitely would pay beautiful horses 🐎 and guards.
Предлагаю не в фонд гвардейцев, а в фонд лошадей. К ним лезут, лапают, хватают, гладят все кому не лень. Больше всего жалко именно лошадок.
Pay for the horses upkeep.
I love that the departing horse was guided right along the bollards, with the guard looking right at the tourists. Well done at that maneuver
Who can't spell manoeuvre.
That rudeness wasn’t necessary. Did it make you feel important???
@barbaradyson6951 don't be rude not ni
@@barbaradyson6951 it might have been someone who's dyslexic, stop and think sometimes.
@@barbaradyson6951 How long have you been in charge of the Spelling Police?
Your comment was uncalled for and Unnecessary,
It almost looked like the first horse guard was trying to get his horse to step on toes that weren't behind the bollards! LOL!
If only. It'd be awesome
The thing is that this is not a show this is real guards doing a real job.
What job is that?
@@adrianwright8685 don’t tell him, Pike!
"Silly" is being way too kind. Rude...disrespectful.....self unaware....yes. Treating these SOLDIERS and their horses like some prop for their personal photo ops.
I love it when the guards shout at the silly tourists..😂
Soldier needed to be way more forcefull getting people back.
Certainly did....needs someone to shout it like an order..poor people might get traumatized tho!!! Must shout at anyone these days !!!!!
There should be new rules.
Do not touch the horse
Do not touch the soldier
No yelling or talking loudly
No personal photos
You may take photo of horse and guard.
You should start a petition
Or maybe put a fence up so they can't get to close. !!!!!!! Poor horses AND guards.
Very good idea. Even though, there are some polite tourists, there are Far too many SELF INDULGENT Ones.🇬🇧☮️
They can't do anything to stop the tourists touching the horses the street outside the boxes belongs to Westminster council the military of defence are the only people that can do anything about it
@@sharonwaite9862A fence. Are you nuts, that's a great way of having no escape route.
What patience and good nature both horse and guardsman had.
Yes It’s a hobby of mine, watching these awful rude people.Feel so sorry for the horses and guards, the tourists treat them with no respect, and very rarely say thank you.🤬
What a marvellous specimen…oh and the horse is great too
Has there ever been a serious issue with the Royal guards.
As a retired military man they always look sharp and crisp.
What is your definition of a ‘serious issue?’
As an ex-military man, you'll know that the army is trained in looking after their uniforms and kit. Any sloppiness is not tolerated. Plus, being in the elite, their standards are higher.
It's just another example of the lack of common sense that seems to abound thesedays. These are horse mounted soldiers doing a job, and they should be treated with dignity and respect. And the warnings are very clear.
This proves my theory that the average IQ is waaay lower than we think.
Hur dumma kan turister bli? Hur står ni ut? 😢
Touching the horses is allowed. Just not the reins.
This part of the job is being a tourist attraction!
Or perhaps you thought sitting on a horse in that uniform serves some military purpose? !!
It's their own fault if they get bitten
Tourists should be kept behind the bollards permanently.
Agree
Can someone plz explain why this behavior is allowed? It is disrespectful, dangerous on so many different levels, such a liability, etc, etc. I just want to go rope off the area. I am an American and think this horrible, I can only imagine what British people feel about this.
When they tell you to move, you move. The police should have helped that soldier. Get the crowd to move back earlier.
Police are useless.
I think they should give the Paras a turn on royal duty. That will sort the disrespectful tourists out.
They’re not too good with horses
Or put Arni in charge of all the other horses
@@barryeva8862 Sounds like a brilliant plan Arni giving lessons on biting nudging and stamping but so gentle with very small children.
We need a few more ARNI'S
☺️😁
@@j.ksmith7432 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
Yep!
That childs screeching voice grrrrr
Parents really do throw their kids under the bus by making g them stand so close to the horses considerg how tall the horses are
Tourists should always be escorted and advised. If only that could happen. Then there might be a little less Chaos, and maybe some Harmony . I know, I'm just daydreaming. It can't ever happen ..., Unfortunately .🇬🇧💂🐎☮️
Sometimes you just long for a strategic kick or two when the horse walks past them . . .
some days, it’s like herding cats 🙄
Agreed. I don't think tourists should be able to touch the horses. Three foot space required for pics too. It is a very prestigious job and deserves much respect.
Horses sense intentions. They also remember. They can ruthlessly bully a scardy-cat human, too because they have healthy senses of humor and fun! Very intelligent creatures. Fast learners, too.
We had a big Ole mare that was a gaited horse, and she could read the rider's skill and try you out. But when it came to kids and disabled people, she was so gentle it was marvelous to watch her. She would have made a great training horse, I loved her kindness.
I assume none of the tourists have ever seen a horse before.
😂😂😂
''I wouldn't stand there mate, you'll get run down by an horse'' 🤣
That would be the day I disrespect a soldier. What is wrong with people who tour here? Have they lost their minds?
There are shiny new signs including do not touch the reins!!
I just wished these tourists would keep their hand to themselves.
Check out the new signage! I wonder if people have actually noticed? And, if it was twice the size?
These rude tourists don't understand how they affect the horses. I watched an crazy Karen who enjoyed riling up the horses. She wore an red wrap around scarf and a grey long jacket open. She just enjoyed it going from one to another upsetting them and making the guards mad.
I had to laugh at the woman who said "I wanted you to see this, I'm not sure if it happens every day". Woman, it happens every hour. Strewth. 🙄🙄
Why don't they ever check on anything. It really is unbelievable.
All that silly laughter near the horse must annoy it. Noisy buggers.😤
Wow that blond lady and that man how disrespectful and rude...You guys need manners
OMG these people think the horses can be switched off. Hmmmm all the little times horses have got upset and had a little fit, they should see a horse when it really gets upset...an animal that weighs about half a ton...if really upset can cause a lot of damage. I have seen a horse move a small car kicking back in the wrong situation. I have owned this type of breed Irish Draught/Cross Breeds..while being very calm with most situations, when they are upset they can be very dangerous. These Guards and horses are brilliant...
Yes,even horses can have an "off day".My cousin used to ride hunters and events had one horse that hated one particular brand of perfume.Used to act up whenever she wore it.
It’s like Herding Sheep, Although Sheep have More Brains.
We call it herding cats
How ignorant are they when their is a signed posted but they choose to ignore it. A fog horn in the ear will do the job.
Touching the horses is allowed. Just not the reins.
This part of the job is being a tourist attraction!
I am waiting for one of the horses to buck when silly tourists walk through the box.
I'm waiting for the morons to slip on the s**t and land IN it. . . (Just a little dream that keeps me smiling) 😂
I can’t bear to watch this so depressing as these are fighting soldiers
I agree..they should not be allowed so close to the soldiers and horses for safety sake....Safety of the horse and soldier I mean.
Touching the horses is allowed. Just not the reins.
This part of the job is being a tourist attraction!
Or perhaps you thought sitting on a horse in that uniform serves some military purpose? !!
I have the upmost respect for this guy's n girls and the horse too
Most of those being photographed make scarecrows look well dressed. I wonder if they believe that they add anything to the image of an immaculately turned out horse and Trooper.
How many tourists are enough before it becomes too unmanageable!
These poor soldiers must be heartily sick of this pantomime every bloody day. All this should be behind a barrier, ridiculous.
Oh is that Yoko Ono and Shawn? 😂
😂😂😂
Omg that was my thought as well.😂
My first thought but now I’m leaning towards spies…….
I thought the same, was the 🎉dark glasses
I don't understand, it is a horse. A very well-trained horse but just a fricking horse. Why do people want to touch it so much?
Exactly what thought, why oh why do they keep touching the horses. Just stand there and your photo taken. 📸
The way some ppl behave it's as if they have never seen a horse before...and I suppose that must be true if you are a city dweller...
And yet no one tries to touch the police horses or grab hold of thier reins🤦🏼♀️
They really do think these are just theme park entertainer's🤷🏼♀️
Completely clueless
They should set up a rope barrier either side so tourists can’t get to close
Definitely a lack of crowd control on this occasion.
Why do they have to touch the horses???
I've always wondered if you are allowed to applaud when they change guards, and how many tourists actually say thank you after taking the pics.
There is no applause and rightly so. This could unsettle the horses.
@@trishawilson1436 those horses hear cannons during some ceremonies, and the noise in London is louder than a small round of applause. The traffic, the amount of sirens they hear.
Why would you clap? It's not a play it's a job lol and just cos the horses can deal with loud noises doesn't mean they should have to
@@abigailli4948 what's wrong with showing some appreciation.
And acting is only a job too.
@@yeovil07 yeah but acting isn't protecting a building, it's people, and it's content. He's a soldier. Show appreciation by being respectful of the horse
I just don't understand the need that people have to touch things. Take a picture and move along. Go to a farm if they must touch a horse.
Didn’t know Yoko Ono was there😂
I was thinking the same thing. Hysterical
😮😮😮😮 Why laughing so loud, and talking so loud.
Daddy, daddy, daddyyyyyyy lol....
They can't even use their common sence to work
out what might be about to happen😅
I have to say there are a lot of nice-looking guards...😊 maybe it's just the uniforms
I couldn't agree more the tourist where kept away from both the Kings Guard and the Kings Horses
Think its time tourist were made to stand and people walking past touch them every few seconds and then theyl see how annoying it is as well as dissespectful too.
All the touching of the horse need stopping and anyone has a go with a smart mouth should be taken away by the cops and charged because at the end of the day these are working soldiers and horses. Not there for idiots amusment.
The soldier needs to exert his authority more. He doesn't want to be there and it shows.
You're not a mind reader so don't presume to know what that soldier is thinking
He signed up for the duty
If the tourists are so scared of the horse why stand next to it for a photo???????
I wonder that when the guards enlisted as soldiers, did they realise they would be doing this
Yes they do, it’s a ceremonial regiment, as well as the “soldiering” this is all part of the job, it’s the same with the guards regiments who stand outside Buckingham Palace, some of those who carried the Queens coffin, came back from Afghanistan.
Funny how nobody talks about how much money the tourists bring into the economy.
They shouldn't làugh at the changeover they have to do it
On occasion I reckon the guards should exaggerate the arc they take the horse back in, maybe then tourists might learn is for their safety.
I can imagine when the guard yells at a moronic tourist for grabbing the reins or getting too close to the guard he is venting his frustration at these foolish people. The same people who want their own personal space.
Great changing of guards. Txs for video.
what a cute guard
I love horses but I would never infringe on a person w a job to do. That's just me.
No tourists should be allowed in this area at all for safety and security reasons....
I will have a photo with the horse, but don’t let it touch or come near me.
stay safe take it easy xoxoxox
Hand Salute from an American veteran.
How very, very ignorant and rude people are to-day. These horseman are fighting soldiers. It is sad to say ,but I hate the sight of these tourist…..they should put barriers up because you cannot fix stupid…..Best wishes to all guards and thank you for your service…From Cheshire .England.
Why why why have they got to TOUCH the horse for a photo? Why does it seem like they've never seen a horse before, not even a picture of one or a movie with horses in it? And all for photos they'll probably never look at again.
Officer? Couldnt see any badge of rank on the guy in combats so is most likely a trooper. He won't be to pleased to be called an officer!
I certainly do!
Cordon the guards off and let the ignorant tourists look but not touch.
Every day, every day on and on and on it goes...............................God love 'em
The yoko ono look alike is back?
I think there needs to be more heavy police protection too put these tourists in their place they take their time moving back wen needed n jus dnt wana listen. THESE PPL SHUDNT B ALLOWED TO TOUCH THE HORSE AT ALL N B FINED IF THEY SNEAK IT
I think it woukd be a goid idea if little children were not left against the horse .
Silly tourists got the reality check from the Officer! Dont think so
Quite right, they totally ignored him and carried on their own sweet way.
Who the he.l are those two loony’s in the black
Police.
Why would you pet a military horse on active duty, it is safer to pet a tank, it cannot bite or kick you.😅
Respect to the Kings guard,s horsemanship from Denmark 👍
Tourist:- "Oh look darling it says on the sign that the horse may bite. Let's all go and stand really close to it and bring the kids also"
"Oh and by the way what time is the news at 10 on the tv?"
All I can say is wow
Amazing restraint shown by guards and horses dealing with cretinous tourists
Well dont to the guard riding up near bollards on way in
You do understand If the camera did not see it we did not see it happen and you said nothing to point it out, so it never happened! A time stamp needed!
I totally agree with you. It's extremely annoying. Also, what they should do is to edit the video and cut out all the moments in which nothing is happening. I saw another video where the title was: "GET OUT. Don't mess with the officer." Well? The "get out" was near the end of the video, and the people were told to get out because the officer was requested to clear the area to allow for the sand to be thrown on the ground. That title was clickbaiting at its finest!
Why this obsession with touching the horse. They are not family pets, they are working military service animals. People should respect them as such.
10:02 DO NOT TOUCH THE TOURISTS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I agree ,things are out of control. They should put one of those velvet red rops . You know the ones that stand on those golden stands. Like in a theater and other places. I cant think what you call them
Anyways their pretty and it wouldnt hurt to try. Just a thought. 😊
I like the gentle respectful ones that sidle up ..but don't touch . Obnoxious ones who think the soldiers are there purely as a photo opportunity ... for the tourists. Perhaps ask a £5 fee .. donation to various charities .
What breed(s) of horses are these in the video's of The King's Guard?
Irish draught crosses.Originally used as cavalry chargers because of their height and stamina.
@@Z4ZanderAre they descended from the War Horses of medieval days???
@@patherrick7630 Not sure about descendant but a similar heritage.
@@Z4Zander Thanks… am a retired history teacher and was curious…
Why are people compelled to touch the horse? I feel like I am watching a bunch of daft people who have never been out of the house! Clueless.
Hope Yoko Ono enjoyed her day out!
Takes half hour to get the rude people back so the change get done
The young soldier requesting people move behind the bollards needs to be more forceful in his voice. I appreciate it is a thin line shouting at tourists and asking them but safety of horse guard and public is at stake here.
It's the Army ..he can shoutcas much as he likes as far as most of us in here are concerned!
