Awesome review! Have both the full size and smaller dead bolt M16 knives. I also have the older liner lock M16 and M21 but CRKT did a great upgrade to these knives, they are tough as hell. Thanks for sharing brother!
Nice review bro. I haven't seen many reviews on this knife out there. It's a great knife and a beast! Seems like it would be more popular in the knife community
Hmm might consider this. I have an Og m16, been my EDC for a few years. Its tough, cuts brush, rope and line. Works well for my hand size and with work gloves or winter gloves, bigger is better. I use a chainsaw file on my serrations. My tip, I changed the pocket clip orientation so its pocket catch open too. Reason was the gimping in the "hilt" were to rough on my hand when going in pocket for screws, keys, hatdware etc or when bending over scratches arms or waist. Did it for comfort then quickly realized it was also pocket catch opening-unadvertised.
Very nice review. Just picked one up… I have a love hate relationship with pocket clip knives. The M16 full size that I have is wonderfully crafted… Thanks much
I have the spear point (03DB) and love it. I also have the M16-12. This is a great series of knives. Thinking about the smaller DB tanto next. Great review man!
I love this knife. I still have the M16-02KS tanto point. Never has failed me. The clip has snagged hard too and never broke. I run the blade daily and even used on prying. Small items. Paint can type strength. Great slim design but big enough for daily uses. Sharpen her reoil swivel and good to go again.
100%. Not just to carry but use every day. My m16-14sfg been my EDC for a few years. Use chainsaw files on serrations. Its size also is an advantage wearing work gloves.
I am into the new, 2022, Deadbolts from CRKT. I have the M1604DB, M1603DB, and the Inazuma No Ken 2908 DB. And, I absolutely luv them all; they "ROCK!!!" :-) Peace, Stiletto :-)
The mental gymnastics americans have to do, to avoid to use the metric system and just explain stuff in millimeters 😄 Now I know the knife is slightly longer than a sharpie, a tit bit wider than 2 chopsticks and has a blade slightly thiner than 2 quarters. Whats next? Its almost as heavy as a small piece of cheese, as hard as a really hard screw and as sharp as an eagle eyes? Edit: Oh, its not cheese, its a deck of cards...
Fantastic chopstick comparison

Would you think it’s good to protect yourself
Its a great EDC for bigger tasks or bigger hands. I can use my older m16 with work or winter gloves.

I'm loving the CCW videos but man, you need to step the knife game up when a CRKT m16 wins best edc of 2022 imo. Let's see some Spydercos baby. Cheers

This upgrade makes it illegal in most countries being an AO.

I wish they had a serrated option for the tanto DB
Great Video. I just bought the knife, The flipper is hard to open the blade, is there a way to adjust that ?
Same with the studs the flipper is the way to go
Ok who else likes the flipper version because this can both ,be a flipper and bush button auto
I got the o3db. It’s awesome. Expensive but worth it.

Comparing a sharoie and a pair of chopsticks for size ? Why not just say measurements ?
Please get a set of dial calipers 😂
D2 is very hard? Oh dear....

Now I only need to find out how big a sharpie is and how thick US coins are...
Nice... :-) Peace, Stiletto :-)
The fact u can see the actual spring on them is so tacky ,,,come on @CRKT knife company your better than that
Ok but does it do its job?
