Loving the new intro clip! The last 2-3 winters were so warm here at NYC and wonder if this has had any negative impact on making Icewine at Finger Lakes. Under 5 minute videos are great to snack watch.
Boundry Breaks is on my list of favorites in the Finger Lakes (FLX). Although I'm not usually a sweet wine drinker their ice wine has such a great acid backbone that stands up to the sweetness. Delicious. What other FLX visits do you have to share?
Love my Columbia Valley Ice Wines! First experience was when I was 23, after a few years of Napa wines. I was very impressed with having something different.

I think in Germany many producers gave it up, because in the age of climate change it was too unstable....warm winters, extrem cold winters.....just too risky. If I understand correctly he can produce an ice wine every year?

Wow you traveled far away this time I've had icewine only once(from canada) and it wasn't riesling but vidal still so great I heard the places can make ice wines are getting reduced because of global warming which is so sad :(
Sad that it was so short, in particular when it's about icewine. I'm afraid we won't see much more Eiswein due to warmer winters in Germany. 20 years ago there was quite some choice and prices were okay, these days hardly any winters become cold enough and the little that comes around is increasingly expensive. I'd be interested in your take on producing the style by artificially freezing ripe grapes - a practice I think I read about being permissible in North America or at least most of it?
We were just doing something quick on a hot summer day, but the video was good. The reality is that videos posted reflect that my life goes on and there are many others involved in posting these videos.

Since I remember some comments said they like the short format, I just wanted to point out that longer videos are appreciated from my POV (10-15 minutes are probably the sweet spot for me), in case you're thinking of how to develop the channel ... Still I'd be most interested in your stance on Icewine production by artificially freezing the grapes in the winery?

Ice wine is an expensive and niche product. That said, like this wine, they can be both purity and glorious.

Not sure, I am still thinking about all the videos that we have made but have not had time to edit, translate and upload.
There are many wonderful producers. My overview is for another time.
I had several wines there, all good to very good, but the ice wine stood out.

포도가 얼면 대부분의 수분은 얼음이 되지만 얼음속으로 들어가지 못하고 밀려난 성분들이 얼마 안되는 남은 과즙에 농축됩니다. 이것을 수확하여 얼음을 제거하고 남은 농축 과즙으로 만드는 것이 아이스 와인입니다.
