How to get wireless CarPlay on your Honda CarPlay enabled motorbike and how to use it. Im using Apple CarPlay on my NT1100 via the Cplay2air dongle, cplay2air.com/?gclid=CjwKCAjw... Cost £99.
I have this little widget in my car, works really well, but on long journeys I find the phone does use a lot of battery when using navigation. So you may well still need to use a wire when touring. 👍
Acp / android auto is excellent on the bike, so handy, i prefer to plug mine in because it keeps the phone charged , I can see the advantage of your nipping about locally , you could always plug the unit in under the seat via a USB adapter to keep it out the weather
@@DC1008 not 100% on that .. I had a nt11 sold it regretted it and am getting another so I’m going on my memory… i know you don’t need a headset for it to work , it depends on if your module works via Bluetooth or not if it does you can press and hold the back button on the left hand switch gear for 5 seconds or so and acp will fire up without the headset connected to the bike ,so in theory it’s a work around it just depends on how your acp module is working , it needs power via the usb weather or not this activated acp on the bike I am not sure .. maybe it needs to wired into that port .. thanks for the videos
Now questions lol I'm looking at getting a nt11 soon and I use quadlock with wireless power base so I don't need to use usb to charge phone did you first set it up bike to headset then use a USB wire bike to phone to set up the android or was it as simple as plug un usb wireless adapter and bike found it straight away ? And can you display any app on phone as I use calimoto for nav and if I can simply plug in a usb wireless adapter leave on bike then when I clip phone to quadlock it auto connect and it display calimoto on dash 🤔🤔 thanks if any answers
@@jedispunk7280 yeah you just need the Bluetooth wireless adaptor for CarPlay or android auto to connect wirelessly. I don’t know about calimoto but if it’s an app you should be able to

I’ll try that but thought it has to go into that USB port for it to work

hi, is it possible to switch between CarPlay and the standard driving display while driving? For checking the fuel level
yes you can by the flick of a button ..
Yes you don’t need to spend the 99 quid. Just plug your phone straight to the bike with manufactures cable. Bike will auto connect.
You can do that but if you want to leave your phone in your pocket or pack it will connect wirelessly to CarPlay etc
@@DC1008 Ah, I see now, thank you.
Thought it came with both from factory?
Can anyone share the sequence to connect iphone/headset/honda ? EVERYTIME its different for me. Very frustrating
If you find out what order. Please let me know as I too feel your pain!!
How's it wireless you still have to plug it in to the USB
Lol I’ve heard of you trolls 😂
Does it work with iPhones
Yes mate I use an iPhone 13
