I have been in China for 9 months now and I really love the place but I'm struggling with the language. In particular I have been struggling to find useful common phrases people use on a daily basis. I find it quite easy now to express myself and how to speak about daily life but my listening is much weaker than my speaking. Thank you so much for your videos, you've earned a sub for sure :D

the way you offer similar expressions for the same meaning, explain nuances, and supply example conversations and drama clips, is all super helpful. i'm one of those chinese-americans who can understand more or less, but can't speak well, so i'm trying to expand my vocabulary and phrasing with your videos. i'm really glad i found your channel, keep up the good work!

I always enjoy the clips from TV shows with examples of phrases, but this is the first time I've actually watched one of them! Rest Your Head on My Shoulder was the first show I watched after I started learning Chinese. It's still one of my favorite mainland China shows.

Dear Grace, thank you so much for your channel, I've started learning Chinese about a month ago and your videos made the process easier, fun and much more effective!

In the lesson about food there was so much animal stuff! But.. How do you say "I'm a vegan, I only eat plant food?"
Please, make a lesson for people like me 🙏 Just saying "我不吃肉和鱼, 我不喝牛奶" isn't satisfying :)
Btw, are there many vegetarians and vegans in China?

I wish I never quit because it’s so hard!! Even now I’m N2 Japanese and I still struggle remembering kanji, there’s no way I could remember accents and new pronunciations at this age
