    The time lapse on the chain link vase was so cool!! Especially where the "wires" twisted around one another, it really looked like they were moving!

    I try to watch all your videos. I'll share this one and the ones in the future with my Face Book friends, I'm a retired mechanical designer so I really appreciate the stuff you make and I also think you do a very p[rofessional job. Then there is the relaxation I feel as I watch. Nothing seems rushed. Thanks for sharing.

    Amazing work! I just ordered a Neptune 3 Pro and I was wondering what filament type and brand you recomend for this printer and people new to 3D printing. Ideally waterproof so I could use for watering cans or plant pots. Thanks and keep up the amazing work.

    • @WildRoseBuilds
      @WildRoseBuilds  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I like the elegoo pla, it’s prints well and is dirt cheap. You can get 10 spools for $100 right now. I have a bunch of PLA printed watering cans and pots that I’ve been using for years and my plants seem fine. Some people think you should use petg for this but I don’t think it matters. Overture on Amazon makes some great filament too in all materials and colors. Congratz on the new printer and happy printing!

    how did you stop the strinning issue when filming?

    • @WildRoseBuilds
      @WildRoseBuilds  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      i stopped using auto volumetric flow. it tries to keep the pressure in your nozzle at its peak throughput so during the timelapse travel move it was releasing some of that pressure. its a handy setting if youre not taking timelapses tho, cut my print times almost in half.

    Am I an idiot or what the hell is going on here. How do you make a video of 3D printing without showing the printer printing it. Htf you do that or am I really missing something here lol

    • @hollt693
      @hollt693 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      Basically, after finishing each layer, the printer homes the x and y axes then snaps a photo. It looks fluid mostly because there are so many layers. Does that make sense? The time lapses are technically stop motion, not video recordings, so movement is implied rather than shown.
