The music in the Valley Hospital feels like it belongs in some slasher flick, from what I feel...

4:07 - If the kids in these commercials really wanted their parents to eat Pop Tarts, they would just get them the Gilbert Gottfried toaster.

These Kmart commercials really get me nostalgic and a bit sad. My family and I would shop at tons of them in our area in Virginia throughout the entirety of the 90’s and up until around 2006. My Mom worked in the diner for about 13 years and made great money from tips. They shut down the diner in late 00’s. Kmart was where I got the majority of my video games, movies, and toys back then.

There are still a few open around where I live in northern CA and they are all dumpy and run down and have typically have a bad selection of products when compared to similar stores like Target or Wal Mart. It's sort of like going in a time machine to when I shopped there as a kid but at the same time almost everything in there sucks and is totally lacking the positive vibe their stores had back then.

We used to eat in the diner when I was very small, I'm talking in the late '70s-early '80s. I hadn't realized just how much of our stuff came from Kmart until the time came to replace it. It's weird, living long enough to see things drastically change. We used to have Bradlees and Roses, too - the only Roses left is a dumpy place like those other Kmarts today.

The K-Mart in my hometown in NC had a diner inside the store but O never ate there. Got a good chunk of house stuff growing up as a kid. It has since closed down and there is only one in operation where I live in NM.

1:30 - The way that Redenbbacher says "good" at about 1:35 makes me laugh. It sounds kind of like he's actually saying, "That's right, make more popcorn. I own your sorry ass, boy!".

I LOVED those glasses! Severely bums me out that they all ended up either broken or possibly given away during a future move.

Valley Hospital-could easily re-cut this ad as a horror movie trailer..just add the creepy voiceover with the tagline:"Valley Hospital..check in..PRAY you check out,ALIVE! *pause...* Rated R."
Tom Coward Ford-Tom mustve lost a lot of fights in his school days..
