- These commercials aired on KTLA on April 21st, 1984
1. Litton
2. Toyota (So they were encouraging people to steal their trucks?)
3. Weight Watchers (With Lynn Redgrave)
4. PSA Airlines (With Morey Amsterdam talking about how hot their stewardesses are! Most effective advertising EVER!)
5. GTE Neighborhood Phone Book (With Kirk Cameron)
6. Dodge Caravan
7. Raleigh Hills Hospital
8. Southwest Airlines (Cheap fares, but I doubt their Stewardesses are hot enough to make Morey Amsterdam to switch airlines)
9. "Movie For A Saturday Evening" Commercial Bumper
10. Hills Bros (I remember seeing that exact coffee can design on a shelf at my preschool, very vividly for some reason)
11. Sears Optical Department (Combining racquetball and Sears, can't get much more 80's that that)
12. Baskin Robbins (My sister had a bunny-shaped cake like these for her birthday one year, but my mom made it herself instead of buying it)
13. KTLA Station ID
14. Care Bear Glasses at Pizza Hut
15. Body Flowers
16. BVD (With Larry Hagman)
17. Toyota Celica GTS
18. Dannon Yes Yogurt
19. Pacific Stereo
20. Exxon
21. Vons
I want the Care Bears glasses!
I still have some of those Carebears glasses. :)
So wait it's more important to have good looking airline hostesses than your plane to arrive on time?
yes, yes, it is.
Yes
Awesome thanx Michael
I love watching these i miss the 80s.
Miss the 80's.... great times
Wow, funny to see Herb Kelleher here again after reading so much about him after he passed away earlier this year.
If turkey were that cheap today, you can bet my ass would be eating it every week ;w;
Wow.....Walkman was $88.00 in '84.
Thanks for another round of commercials, especially of '84. Still miffed at Google not sending me alerts when a video is uploaded, though.
I will be uploading pretty regularly on Wednesdays for the time being.
4:38 "Hey! Way to go!" (smack on the ass)
OMG one of my teachers at my school has almost the exact same microwave!!!
Cindy Walsh from 90210 @ 7:45
Montgomery Ward had their own brand placed on TV sets as well as Microwaves, but no doubt they were made by another company.
Lol the phone book
My grandma had that Litton microwave, and it always troubled me that the microwave had a metal rack...I know it was probably safe, but wasn't there another way?
Oh, the early 80's and yogurt. We had so many varieties shoved at us, and the Dannon Yes was one of many.
Morey Amsterdam is everything 3's Company's Ralph Furley aspired to be.
Your photo takes me back MR. YUCK IS BAAAD :)
That Litton was my family's first Microwave. The metal rack did eventually start to spark and burn the plastic on the door.
Wish I was born in the 80's!
Me too
You missed out buddy........
PSA did have hot stewardesses
I love watching all these vintage commercials I was wondering how you collected all of them because it seems like each set you post are from different states just curious........
Simple answer: I didn't record these. I found these on the internet. I was actually a few weeks from being born when these aired.
I'd prefer if people use PM's to ask questions like this. I don't really feel like answering the "where do you find these?" question every time I post a new video.
Is that Kirk Cameron? 2:23
Please read the video description
he was so cute
You would never see a commercial these days like the one for PSA...Best looking stewardesses...too sexist.
