The other country coaches aren't even paying attention to their athletes, they more focused on taking notes from the Chinese.
BOSS because there scared
@@creamyspinach8951 thats similar to how china developed their method so theres nothing wrong with it.
@@-TK- It's not abt right or wrong, it's about how good these two Chinese lifters are.
Get over your butthurt.
@@tobacco118 how am I the butthurt one here?
@@-TK- agreed. its natural to adapt to or emulate what is the most successful group in any field
It’s weird seeing Shi Zhiyong lift in a shirt and even weirder that it’s a collard shirt.
russian weightlifting vibes
Commentary is so good
shut up mate
@@AB-oy1ly shut up meg
Shi doesn't power snatch, he superpower snatches.
4:21 good timing with Shi and the lady in the back.
I can clean n press 25kg so TH-cam recommended this. So relatable.
Your content is already up there with ATG and hookgrip. Keep it up , and solid commentary.
Thank you!
Two of my favourite weightlifters at the moment. Nice comments too
Old school IronMind vibes. I like it
strong Ironmind vibes indeed ... and thats a good thing. Thanks WH!
@@arpussupra No problem!
You beat me to it - God, I love those videos.
Yay more weightlifting channels, thank you!!!
Great job, thanks for your work.
Ok. This video with commentary just sent you to the top of my list. I’m not sure about past content, but if this is how your vids continue - training halls and commentary, then you’ve definitely got a new Patron
Thank you for the great video.
Please keep doing the commentary, it sets you apart from many other videos.
Sweet jesus. YT algorithm finally suggested a worthy channel! Keep it up guys! Thanks!
Good to see your content on TH-cam!!
This is a very unique channel. The commentary sets this apart from atg and the others.
Enjoying these videos with the voiceovers! 👏🏼👏🏼👍🏼👍🏼
like your commentary. Please continue with the unique style.
you are informative and also comfortable to listen to.
You've got a new sub :)
Pretty jealous of you that you got to see them training in person, great video, a new sub from me mate
Appreciate that!
Great to see more content coming out for weightlifting. If you make more of these training hall sessions in the future make sure you set your white balance beforehand/do some colour correcting in post!
I just discovered you channel! I really like to video format and I hope there's more content coming, especially from female lifters! Well done!
Yo! This is incredible content! Thank you so much and you have a new subscriber if you keep this type of content coming! Great job!
Keep it up man! This is great
Love the video and insight!
Very informative. Keep it up :)
Team China in the building! Fabulous footage and commentary.
Shi ZhiYong training in a Polo shirt
I like this commentary, very nice for people like me that like the sport, but never practiced before and know little about it. You may not have the editing of ATG or Hookgrip, but your commentary is gold, nice video!
I recommend you try the sport, then you'll have more appreciation of what they are doing.
That tells how important hip extension is.... Even in the middle of lifts he goes for few hip extension and holds🤜🤛 respect
Their posture is so good perfect
top tier my friend I appreciate you
The way these guys move and look under the bar is so beautiful.
Love the commentary, good way to differentiate against atg and hookgrip. Feels a little bit like old ironmind video
this reminds me so much of IronMind!! Great job and content brother...👏👏👍👍
any Li Dayin videos coming up? I feel like he doesn't get as much shine as he deserves
Shi and lu are too powerful
I'm sure Dayin's training is hush hush right now. You heard what happened over Lu's training vid security breach. They serious
@@Kaikojo what happened?
@@gotentk4 Lu's Coaches reached out to the uploader. They weren't mad at the uploader, though they did ask the video to be taken down. But they needed to know who from China provided the leaked footage. That's about all we know. I highly doubt the guy who leaked it kept his job at best. At worst your guess is as good as mine.
Adib I’m scared for that guy lol
You should have way more subscribers
Gotta love the chairs they are resting on
Nice!!
He is doing explosive training at the end
nice commentary
6:38
His face looked like he just had some damn good food.
I watched this for motivation
Great Video
At 1:00 you put 73 behind Lu instead of 81
whether from Colombia there is also the World's Training Hall
Nice!
1:34 let alone back injury that made him lay down for 10mins in the back room
perfect femur / torso proportion
I just checked your IG for that 210 kg clean from Lu but can't find it.. did you delete it?, I would like to see it..!
Strong dudes
Absolutely animals, the 23 haters must have more world titles than Lu and Shi.
Where can i Purchase a barbell stand such as these ones?
Nice vid! Anyone know the name of the intro/outro song?
Matlock theme in the intro
"Lu is the biggest legend that still competes"
Talakhadze : Am i a joke to you?
Think he's largely alluding to his longevity - at 35, he's still competing and getting gold medals. Lasha's 25, like Shi or Tian Tao. Definitely legends, just haven't been around as long.
Sorry if this is a repeat: Does anyone know what TV show the music is from? It's driving me nuts. Great video.
Matlock
@@samukukkonen2497 Thanks. I didn't watch that (really), but heard it on the TV often.
7:20 what was Shi Zhiyong even using instead of tape? 🤔
immediately clicking subscribe
This is a noob question, but I know that fighters walk around sometimes even 20+ lbs above their competition weight. Do Oly weightlifters do the same? Do they attempt to lose weight while keeping strength for a comp, or do they walk around and train at their competition weight?
They tend to cut off a couple/few kilos for competition but not by too much I believe
Is that Wei Deng in the far around 0:23-0:26?
Where's my man Tian tao?
140 в стойку рвёт, силён!
4:30 I've found a couple full training sessions of Bozhidar Andreev that could challenge that. Just did 163/198 today btw :)
Along with Yauheni Tsikhantsou I think Bozhidar is the most underrated/exciting weightlifter around
Bozhidar Andreev is at 81kg right now for the Euro U23, he’ll drop back down to 73kg for the Olympics
No one can touch Shi ZhiYong he’s on another level right now
@@Mike-bt3ki Oh I dont think anyone is arguing Shi is beatable...unless you're a Wei Yinting fan. I'm personally more excited by who can place Silver and Bronze. At least until Shi starts beating Liao Hui's Sinclairs in international competition.
@@WeightliftingHouse Hope you can get footage of the both of them!! Andreev's technique at lighter weights is interesting too. He still jerks with a full grip until around 100kg. Then he switches to a fingertip jerk. The hands-out regrip really becomes noticeable past 150kg.
Real interesting story behind him too. To summarize, he was left homeless after graduating from his Sports School in 2016. He'd been considering leaving Bulgaria to compete for Azerbaijan who offered him $250,000. Staven Sports Academy's president offered him housing since they didn't want to lose yet another Bulgarian to a different country. After Bulgaria's performance in Anaheim and some politics had been resolved, Bozhidar and his coach, Plamen Bratoychev, were put on the national team. His first competition back, he beats Yarkin at u23s (like he did at the 2014 Youth Olympics) and takes gold. Then he competes at 2018 Worlds and makes the top 10. Spends the next few months competing for KSV Durlach at the Bundesliga. At Batumi, he is crowned European Champion and now, Bronze in Pattaya! Plus European u23 records in two weight classes. Crazy to think how different things would be if he never got that apartment.
Belarus's weightlifting page on IG has nice footage of Tsikhantsou rack jerking 230 and Vadzim Likharad doing the same with 195.
Why do they do those heavy dips I believe you called them?
I wish shi zhi yong could move up weight class
shi zhiyong is insane
Where is your intern and extra gear for times like these? Let me know if you need some help.
I will do, thanks for the offer
@@WeightliftingHouse Thank you for the greatly informative entertainment.
so, did you give up your source?
needs more Li Dayin, it's good to have an elite lifter with the same body morphology as I have
Shi lowered the weight on his bar to work on his technique
whats a touch and go squat?
7:01 their tape is a million times better than any of the American crap, btw.
I actually started ordering it from the Chinese weightlifting websites. way softer and sticks better and doesn't leave residue.
what is with Lu colarbone
wish they would stop focusing on his age. it is not how old you are but how you feel that matters.
Li dayin 160 power clean that sorta ting
Shi Zhiyong COME ON THIGHS
who is that guy in 3:15 in the middle with the white shirt and big biceps ?
Li Dayin
Good content especially the commentary.
I pity Yang zhe. He’s a great lifter but in this Chinese contingent he gets overshadowed by others
his lifts are pretty intense to watch, he's one strong dude.
kabukiman69 I agree. I like the way he walks side to side looking at the barbell trying to intimidate it into submission
i knew shi was incredible but 206? on a c & j? i was expecting his max to be 200
Whoa mate, you say some weird things in quite the quaint accent. Where are you from?
:') I'm from the UK
@@WeightliftingHouse Yea well, that's not what I was asking about mate. Who the hell says "work up in x" in the UK?
Your footage is great and your commentary is on point, don't get me wrong.
Edit: I've looked it up, but all I could find was some mention of it being military slang.
시지융 저게 사람새긴가 ㄷㄷㄷ
"team china has arrived"
So... Did you snitch on the guy that gave you the video?
Lu Xiaojun is Goku and Shi zhiyong is Vegeta
Lu xiaojun is 5 feet 8 inches
WO CAO
Beautiful Chinese hhh
although I enjoy watching chinese lifters lift heavy barbell with such grace and speed, looking back at older bulgarian and soviet records from the 80's, today's lifters are no match for them, Varbavov did 215 kg @75kg, Zlatev did 183 kg snatch and 225 c&j @82.5 kg and Vardanyan did 405 kg total @ 82.5 kg
Drug tests back then weren't as aggressive as they are now
@@kelvinn1996 true
Bulgarians and Soviets are known in that era for heavy doping, I mean I know the sport of weightlifting is rife with PED use, maybe the Chinese are on it too, but not to the degree of Soviets and Bulgarians Lol
@@Mike-bt3ki they have to be test before entering for a sport event. if that a case, i think the world sport also dope.
Cheesy young
lol
The Asian Chad.
China’s gonna figure out a way to clone them...
nah they'll just selective breed so the next batch will keep breaking records.
The Republic of China is now the superior in the sport of Olympic Weightlifting, just how Bulgaria and Russia was in the past.
People's Republic of China*
Republic of China is Taiwan (which isn't a country)
Sorry dude, my apologies.
Bulgaria Russia were drug cheats jury still out on China
Bulgarians and Soviets are known in that era for heavy doping. Drug tests back then weren't as aggressive as they are now
In the 80s there was either no testing or weak T:E ratio tests. It was easy to pass tests in the 80s. We've made such absurd advances in testing thanks to isotope tests. Now you'd have to be off drugs for months and months to piss clean. So when they step on the plat they're clean. However, corruption and interference by states means that they aren't tested year round. If every country had biological passports and year round testing like some countries, we'd be pretty confident that modern lifters are clean.
Orb Plant Taiwan is not recognised as a country internationally and that’s fact. If you think it’s a country that’s fine Lol but you’re wrong 😂😂😂
Just because you and some others think it’s a country doesn’t make it a country Lol
1:57 he call him she
Bodybuilding related comment here: You can see how lean and muscular Zhi is, his glute/hamstring separation is very clear, i mean, the guy is incredibly muscular and very very lean, even his glute insertions show under the spandex, like a world-class bodybuilder.

Literally He-Man is happening and yellow dress is confused on who and what is going on all around her......
I’d sacrifice confusion and or Kardasian-like symptoms just to be near some of the magical feats that these dudes are pulling off...
Shane-O a lot of people don’t understand how superhuman these feats of strength are .. it’s crazy to even fathom
Their legs shape remind me of Kim Kardashian.
Russian showed them the way .
Jesus is coming
crazy how they look like the average gym goer
oh come one guys, China has almost 1.4 billion of people, they can afford to select peeps with genetic mutations that are the best for specific goals
India has 1.3 billion. Doesn't see anyone from them. Strange
Could you imagine putting up huge numbers only to sit on some shitty pink plastic chair
commentators are annoying
