It worked for me after first use. I left on my nose for 2 hours ( on a clean washed face). Than I washed my face with cleansing oil. I used a make up pad to swipe water and all blackheads gone, I am shocked😂 okay girls and boys it really works, buy it.

I’m a beginner to chemical exfoliation can I use this both day and night once a week?
Would be best if you space it out by a day or two. However, the cosrx bha liquid is quite gentle as it is at a pH above 4 and uses betaine salicylate instead of salicylic acid, so I guess it should be fine. When you feel like your skin is used to the exfoliant then start to up your usage to 3 times a week at night.
Use it only at night to be safe. It is a strong product. Sun will damage your skin.
What should I use first? Blackhead power liquid or the BHA toner?
Don’t use bha on top of bha! That’s over exfoliating

I prefer applying it with my hands. Uses less product as a cotton pad absorbs most of it

Don’t you even think of using the ordinary niacinamide with bha because that will ruin your skin. It’s doesn’t matter which niacinamide brand you use BUT never use niacinamide and BHA together. Use the niacinamide is the morning and bha at night. Bha 3 times a week ONLY.

Shrly what happens if you mix niacinamide with your AHA or BHA of choice, or layer one straight on top of the other? One thing it's going to do is make your acid less effective. ... When you mix them together, the niacinamide will raise the pH of the acid.
It doesn’t seem to work for me I still have lots of black heads, any tips? Might I be using it wrong or mixing it with the wrong products?

Try letting the liquid sit on the problem area with the cotton pad for 5-10minutes, it should remove gunk after first or second treatment.
But if you still have lots of blackheads, you may need to see what your other products are doing and not doing, especially with deep blackheads you may need to use comedone extractor, or if youre naturally oily (resulting in blackheads) you may want to look for smth that tackles sebum such as salicylic acid cleansers, also lightweight moisturizers i find is better for me. This is based on personal experience cuz before I only used this BHA serum thinking its a fix all but after a few months I found out that it didnt do enough and doing further research on oil reduction and using this in accordance with other products that reduce high sebum growth is what helps reduce blackheads
This is my routine for combination skin with heavy sebum/blackheads on nose chin and forehead area - i started a month ago and is seeing good results:
- Cleanser: cosrx daily gentle salicylic acid cleanser (people usually go for 2% salicylic acid wipes but since I have oily skin and Im going to use it everyday + my combination skin, i bought the gentle cleanser)
- Comedone extractor (lightly scrape whatever comes out, heavy extracting opens up pores and creates microbrasions)
- Toner with vitamin e: reduces sebum buildup, closes pores, and tightens the area of the skin
- cosrx bha blackhead serum after toning
- either a water retention moisturizer or a lightly moisturizing facespray since the bha is moisturizing enough for my oily skin
(To note, all things noted are inexpensive)

Does purging leave marks?? Is it painful? I'm also using the cosrx bha power liquid product and my skin getting more acne and blackheads and getting worse, it's almost my 4th week, I feel like crying, my mom saying me to see a dermatologist. I am not understanding if I need to wait or see a doctor. I'm really getting depressed about it.
No. Puging does not leave any marks but breakout does. Having more and more blackheads and pimple (especially at place you never had pimples) are signs of breakout. It's much better to seek the professional

Is this ok for combination of sensitive and oily skin? And I'm newbie in skincare so can anyone tell me whats the difference between the black power liquid and the Clarifying toner of CosRX?
I mean this BHA isn’t as harsh as others since it contains betaine salicylate instead of your usual salicylic acid. To put it simply it’s a much gentler alternative so you should be able to use it however pls patch test before using to confirm and if it works out I recommend starting off by using it once or max twice a week then build it up gradually however you like and to answer your second question the main difference would be that the clarifying toner contains AHA as well as BHA while the blackhead liquid contains only BHA

i saw in a video that the COSRX Blackhead Power Liquid brightens the skin and even the skin tone but it's recommended for oily skin, I bought it but I'm still waiting on my order...
my skin is dry but my nose is full of blackheads, so should i use it just on my nose to get rid of them or all of my face and then use some other products to moisture my face?

The product have some important ingredients to combat the sebum and acne prone, but it have 3 ingredients to dry skin so it's not too problematic for you type skin. If u want to buy the product just for the brightening, the only ingredient in it is the niacinamide and not that much lol and if I were you I would buy other product with this goal. Although, normally lightning/brightening products are moisturizers so they're more recommend for u

Aren't you supposed to cleanse before using this?
Yes, my recommendation is always to double cleans but in this case the order is different. Right after showering so your pores are open, use an oil based cleanser which goes into pores and cleans the dirt out and rinse with warm water and pat dry. Then use the BHA liquid and leave it for 5 minutes to dissolve any sebum and bring it to the surface. Then cleanse with a water based cleanser (important to not re-dissolve the sebum so it falls back into the pores), and rinse with cold water to close and shrink pores. Then follow with essence and spf moisturiser.

For oily skin 3-4 times a week
For dry skin 2 times a week
For combo skin 2-3 times a week.

its best to start from once per week then 2-3 times per week, slowly build up the tolerance.

@@ardanormm7490 then try the Paula's choice exfoliagor. That one is a bit stronger. Also for some people only AHAs work and for some BHAs.

Don't follow up with retinol after exfoliating. It's gonna irritate your skin.

Actually it does, you just have to do some additional efforts about it.
Here's my tip:
1. Cut your cotton pad into small pieces, how many of it just count how many blackheads you want to degunk.
2. Slather those small pieces you just cut with BHA.
3. Put them on your blackheads one by one just like the way you do with mask and wait until the pieces get almost dried out.
4. Do it right after your usual exfoliation routine.
The blackheads will get extracted by the time you wash your face like a day or two days later.
You won't realize it's out of your pores until you look at it in the mirror.

You don't apply toner after, infact you don't need to apply toner with this. Just move on to the next step of either a serum or moisturizer
