Check with your doctor what you can safely use during breastfeeding :) but generally it's recommended to avoid salicylic acid which is an ingredient in this toner.@@santonabiswas3005

My mistake was immediately using this twice a day which caused me a breakout. I'm slowly teaching my skin to adjust to it applied only at night a few times a week now.

I’ve been using this for more than 2months now and when I started, it purged my face for about a month but because I was aware of the possibility of that, I didn’t fret and just continued and now I can confidently say I’m glad I didn’t stop. It improved the texture of my ski. And evened out my skin tone. My skin used to be really dull with hyperpigmentation and a few acne here and there.
For the first 2 weeks, I used it just once at night and then twice the following 2 weeks. Now I use it only 2-3 times weekly and only at night.

@@SkinZoneTV purging causes so much pain that most people get scared by that...as someone with a damaged skin barrier i can say that oh boi the scare is real seeing the purging but after a lot of research i came to know that its normal for some products and i should just be patient....so now im doing that.

@@momotajulalam9954 if you have a damaged skin barrier, I would stop using exfoliating acids and work on repairing your skin barrier :) we have a video on this on our channel. But yes purging is not fun, but worth it :)

Hi @SkinZone, I just started using the Cosrx salicylic cleanser as well as the Cosrx aha bha toner last week.(Been using it daily AM and PM)
My skin feels smoother around my cheeks but the skin on my forehead is purging like crazy.
I want to reduce the use of the toner to 2 or 3 times a week but I don’t know if I should get another toner that I can use AM and PM daily.
I want to try the Anua heartleaf 77% toner but I don’t know if it will be okay to use with the AHA BHA toner(3 or 2 times a week).

Hi there, I am currently using the Cosrx salicylic acid cleanser and this particular toner. It worked well for my skin. I have been using this combo for a year and I haven’t experienced breakouts. I’m also using their moisturizer with birch sap. However, this might have a different effect on other skin types. I just hope this info helps. 😊
You mentioned not to use this on broken skin or areas that are experiencing inflammation. I’m not sure if my skin is broken so how should I proceed with using this toner?
You will know if you have cuts or abrasions on your face, this is broken skin :) inflammation is like sunburn, recent facial waxing etc.

If you pop the pimple, yes. But normally closes up quite quickly. Avoid popping your active breakouts anyways as it can spread bacteria across the rest of your face and cause more breakouts x@@alamshithi1544

mmmh, it would be a bit aggressive in my opinion, just stick to one type of glycolic acid… toner or cream, after the toner you should hydrate the skin

After exfoliating you should use something hydrating like hyaluronic acid or a good moisturiser, you should avoid active ingredients

It should not be used on your eyes. The eye area is a sensitive thinner area.

Cleanser is fine because it’s not on your skin that long. The toner is a leave on product so the acids have time to work x

I live in a very hot and humid country and have acne prone normal skin. It works fine for me, it's almost water like. I guess you can give it a try.

Hey there, what serums do you use in your routine?
You can do either but just be mindful of the eye area. Some people don’t like using cotton pads because it absorbs the product however it is easy to ensure you cover all the areas evenly x

You would need to patch test yourself as every sensitive skin will react differently… generally if you are melasma prone and sensitive skin I would opt for a gentle aha like mandelic or lactic acid x

Hi Sara, since it was given to you by the Pharmacy I am unsure of the side effects. I am not familiar with this product sorry.
You can do a google search of the product, or the read the back of the ingredients label to understand more about the ingredients. 2 weeks is not long enough to give a result. It can take 10 weeks + to see significant change to hyperpigmentation when using the right products, so you need to be patient and consistent :)

I only had a few tiny bump in my cheeks...after use this toner and mucin snail essence.. for 5days tiny bump start growing at my forehead also I feel just a little itchy in some part of my face.Did my skin is not suitable with this product
maybe it's bcz of the snail essence. u may have allergies of dust mites, idk. the essence can cause whiteheads but the toner works fine for me

What's a patch testing??
Testing the product on an area to check you don't have a reaction.
You can apply a small amount of the product to a small area of your face that's easily covered-such as the underside of your jaw, a corner of your forehead, behind your ear or the side of your neck. There should be no other products on the skin so that you can properly test the product. Wait around 24-48 hours to see if you have a reaction. If not, proceed using over the rest of your face :)

Yes this toner is formulated with both. You won’t need to use an extra exfoliating serum on top of this x

Actually no, you shouldnt use it right after. Acids have low pH vs niacinamide has a higher pH so they sort of cancel each other out. If you want to enjoy the benefits fully, it is better to use them on different days or at least different times (day/night).

No, combining them can cause skin irritation, redness and sensitivity.
Avoid layering them directly on top of each other. Instead, trying using them at different times of the day or different days.
Can I use it with vitamin c?
Cosrx recommend to use separately to Vitamin C. Use vitamin c in the morning and you can use this aha/bha toner in the evening a couple times a week x
Can I use this with my facial soap with niacinamide?
I would use separately, most brands don't recommend to use acids with niacinamide x
I have been using it for about two weeks for my face and chest as well. I noticed that the chest pimples disappeared and the skin irritation stopped. Also, on my face, the blackheads and whiteheads disappeared, but some red pimples and pimples under the skin appeared. I don’t know if the product is the cause or if it cleanses the skin?
It is a sign of purging, it can last 4-6 weeks. The BHA will speed up the skin renewal process and bring to surface any congestion which is most likely why you are getting some pimples x they will clear

You don’t need to exfoliate daily even when you have oily skin as over exfoliation can cause a damaged skin barrier. I would stick to 2 x a week, no more than 3x

It is best to only use exfoliating toners once or twice a week. However. Since the aha and bha percentage in this toner is pretty low, you are free to use it more. It mainly depends on what your skin can handle. Use it slowly though.

Yes should be fine as the cleanser is not on the skin for long and it’s rinsed off. You don’t need to use the toner daily so just monitor your skin to ensure it’s not too much :)
