muchas gracias hermano, realmente no encontre ningun video en español o ingles sobre este intake y el tuyo me ha servido de mucho, recientemente adquiri el mio y con tu video me guiare mucho, gracias hermano buen video
I like k n filters, don't like how the filter box isn't sealed off to the under hood hot air ... I've seen other aftermarket filter boxes that only get ambient air from the inner fender , that's probably the one to have, or just put a k n in the stock air box
Did you notice any difference compared to the stock? I put on a Airaid cold air intake and throttle body spacer on mine and it improved performance and mpg. I’m thinking of installing the tbi injector spacer next.
@BuckeyeHitters it's something I've noticed. I liked my K&N when I put it on in late winter. Sounds good and better throttle response. However come Spring and the weather's warming up in CA, I noticed how much slower the truck is with the K&N. Switched back to the stock intake and it's actually FASTER, just a lot quieter. Either way, think I've learned my lesson with exposed-filter intakes. No go for me.
Looks good, but performance wise you wasted your money the factory intake is already a cold air intake and can handle all the power your ever gonna make out of that 350tbi.
The factory is a cold air intake but it’s not allowing enough air flow to actually make the most power. You can check out a different vid on TH-cam where they dyno tuned and it showed the difference it made, check it out. But The main difference I noticed so far is gas mileage I’m saving about a 2 gallon difference because I drive the same distance everyday at the same time with the truck and the fuel isn’t as low as it normally is around the 3 trip.
Negligible difference in power, but throttle response is WAY better. Not to mention I noticed my gas mileage was a bit better afterwards. Plus, induction noise sounds great on these 350s when you have an intake
Ya the K&N is a waste of money im taking mine off after 16 years. Its kind of... not durable. The base gasket always fails cracks and leaks from the heat, The bolts and clamps loosen up. The whole system vibrates bad at wide open throttle. I modded the stock intake. Its going to get about the same gain as the KN opening it up and removing baffles.. No more stupid bracket to remove and extra nonsense to remove when I need to work on the engine with the K&N.. Not to mention the KN filters filter.. not too good. Not good for a truck often operated in dusty conditions like mine is
Awesome job

You still have the oem intake?
Did the check engine light come on after install?
Yes indeed bro in the building with big 👍👍👍👍
I appreciate that bro 🙏🏽
@@mattsauto6462 no problem 👍👍
Make a video when you swap the carb please ! 🙏🏼
When will we get another tsx video? I want to see a reflash on that tsx. It will make a huge difference.
Working it next bro. I’m trying do It the right way this time.
Would rather run a tube into the fender with the filter in the fender getting ACTUAL COLD AIR
That’s true, but that lil hole in the fender push air right into the filter.
@@mattsauto6462 a little bit of cold air mixing with a whole bunch of hot air? Idk man

@mattsauto6462 I ran 450hp through the factory tbi air intake, you'll be fine bud😂. Your not gaining any power😂
Just let this man enjoy his mod. It's nit always about the most hp
