There is no way I could get my mouth around that “sandwich”, so I’d fill each side of the bell pepper equally with protein and veg then eat separately.

The bell pepper sandwiches seem like a great idea for a picnic or boat lunch because there is no bread to get soggy!
That is honestly the most delicious looking sandwich I've ever seen. *gets in car and drives to grocery store to buy ingredients*

I made the pepper sandwich today and it was insanely good! I practically used everything you did but instead of cream cheese I used laughing cow triangles and wholegrain mustard in place of Dijon. I also added a small handful of bistro salad, a dash of balsamic and some french dressing. I honestly can’t believe how could it was. The cheddar, tomato onion and avocado worked really well with the chicken. . A bit of salt and pepper and voila. I used a red pepper as I didn’t have any green, maybe I’ll try a green one next time. Anyway, It will be on my menu forevermore. If you haven’t tried this people, please do. It tastes so much better than you can imagine. ❤
I absolutely ❤❤❤ this sandwich. My husband refused to try until he saw me eating it and he couldn't resist. He ended up eating two of them. The power of your videos!
I made the first two, and they are DELICIOUS!! Especially loved the bell pepper sandwich. I used plain rotisserie chicken instead of sandwich meat. Cannot get over how good it is. I did not miss the bread, I actually prefer the bell pepper.

The bell pepper is a delicious idea! I normally grill it with a filling of ground beef, topped with cheese 😁 I also swap out the mayo for Greek yoghurt when I do chicken mayo.

I made this tonight using an orange pepper. I don’t have any tomatoes so it was made with no tomatoes or dijon mustard. Also didn’t use as much deli meat… organic Turkey (not chicken). It was still so amazingly good and filling. Had about 5 radishes on the side with it. Oh yeah… this was amazingly good. Thanks for providing the recipe! This is going to be a regular lunch/dinner meal. So light and crisp. Perfect for summer or year round here in FL. I’m going to add fermented pickles or fermented dill kraut when my order of ferments comes in.
Tuna Bites
Mix: canned tuna, homemade mayo, pickles, diced celery, green onions.
Scoop mixture into baby bell peppers.
Top with half a grape tomato & a pinch of grated cheese.
-These are great for party platter snacks, or private munchies. Yum
-You can also serve the mixture on sliced cucumbers, celery sticks, or wrapped in a lettuce leaf. If you use these other ideas, you can add diced bell pepper to the mixture for added crunch & flavor.
- These have been a HUGE hit at our parties.

These meals look great! For the "sandwich" bread, I use lettuce boats, and make them into roll ups because of a dietary restriction with peppers. The chicken salad is great paired with apple slices.
I deconstructed the pepper sandwich and topped with fresh Guac and pickles. Yum-o! Also added a few pepitas

I LOVE Swedish rye crispbreads as a base for lunch. I use the leksands brand. It’s crunch and satisfying with only 8 g carbs per serving… some fiber, protein and iron. I too it with curry chicken salad and have some bell pepper and cucumber on the side. Perfect lunch!

There's nothing better than fast and light recipes especially in the summer season when it's hot outside :). I am more than positive that the first recipe is mouthwatering and delicious and to be fair we could fill the bell pepper with various other ingredients aka canned tuna in water or smoked salmon or boiled eggs.

What if your body doesn’t like dairy? I don’t eat many nuts so diary alternatives made with nuts are out too
@@loriallred4727 If you have a European food store near you, they have lots of options for spreads which would add the richness you'd be missing without the dairy. :)

Our bodies are designed to need some bread daily, but it needs to be organic and whole grain. I sauté one slice of Dave's Killer Powerseed bread with olive oil at night. Also key to have olive oil daily.
I'm happy you can eat flavorful foods while breast feeding .. I found my babies had upset stomachs from my spaghetti sauce n other things along that line so I had to give them up for the time ...

Use your celery or whatever lettuce for the butty.. iceberg helps with water retention n has big leaves .. bit easier to smush down too

Egg digestion question… when my kids and I have scrambled eggs we are fine but hard boiled eggs make us all gassy. Why is that? We always get pasture raised as we don’t have chickens ourselves (yet). Is there anything we can do to allow us to eat them and be fine? We enjoy them hard boiled. 😊

Great video! I already made twice that bell pepper sandwich. Very good. And yeah i used deli meat because you just cannot 100% of the time eat healthily. It is impossible. Sometimes i order organic deli meat but sometimes i buy from the store.
