Guys I can say from experience that you can run on for a long time doing your own thing but God will cut you down at some point. And when it happens it'll be crushing. My late husband Jacob felt he could relate to Johnny Cash. He had been addicted to drugs and alcohol for a long time while being homeless and downtrodden himself. When God took hold of him, he ended up crawling up out of that deep darkness when the Lord intervened. That was when I met Jacob in church. We had been together almost four years when in January, Jacob lost his battle to Covid. He always told me that his body was worn out and he was ready to go see the Lord.
