They were both ridiculously talented at mimicking sounds, but what is not talked about enough is how very funny both Elvis and Johnny Cash were. I realized long ago that much of their allure was in the fact that they never took themselves too seriously, despite their fanatical fans. Most of the time, they were laughing at the implausibility of their reality. The comedic talent they were given was just overkill for two guys with such musical talent.

These guys are legendary impersonators!! Nany blessings to you!!
@@DJGerryfromStarlightMusic oh i see, big thanks😍
Back when entertainers were not only great but had a great sense of comedic timing and didnt get bent over shows the love they had for one another Johnny and elvis were like brothers and thats rare to find that kinda respect between entertainers today just doesn't exist loved both as a kid growing up in the seventies up until the passing of Johnny and of course elvis in 77 still listen to both and now im 51 music will never get any better than these two musicians today really dont have a true meaningful beginning its all abstract and im made it on Americas got talent and i got signed on a contract but they dont last long these guys lasted their whole lives whenever Johnny would be on a Christmas special or any music special hewas the one that everyone tuned in to see
Very astute observations. Thank you so much for your feedback!!
Enjoyed Elvis and Johnny very much, laughed a lot. So wonderful that they were good friends - no envy between them. Elvis loved and respected other singers and entertainers. Thanks for this video! ❤❤
Can't compare! Just respect for each other as you so carefully pointed out!! Thanks mate for sharing! Excellent.
Nobody did anything better than Elvis . With that being said mr cash was awesome .
OMG!! Johnny Cash was hilarious, but as far as impersonation.....there's no doubt Elvis impersonating Johnny Cash was better hands down. He sounded just like Johnny Cash.
Very astute observations. You are spot on, my friend!
I think cash was going for more comedy and Elvis was trying his best
They were very fond of each other - both pushed the boundaries in their respective genres to the limit.
He was the greatest. What’s your favorite Elvis song?
💌Absolutely love this. This is epic and only can we now see this on videos. Thank you for sharing. ♥️
Got to give this one to Elvis , both were entertaining but The King came out on top again..
That's why they call him The King!!
Wow that's great impersonation of Elvis his always great on his own way.
Damn, Elvis sounded A LOT like Johnny, didn´t expect that!
This was great. Two Legends giving each other hell in all good fun. I'm sure they're having a blast right now upstairs
These two men were very respectful of one another - both very different and both wonderful gifts to the music industry. We were blessed by both.
Elvis did one of the best impression of Johnny Cash. What a great talent.
Johnny did ones of the best Elvis impersonations ever
He was the greatest. What’s your favorite Elvis song?
Wow... Elvis sounds just like Johnny Cash..
They were the greatest. What’s your favorite Elvis and Jonny song?
Rock on man 👍🎹 . Awesome vid 😉 . Come see the show ..
Many blessings to you my friend…Thanks for the positive vibes!!😅😎👍🙌🤩
They were both great. I know that these two legends had fun impersonating each other. Johnny Cash was a class act. He always said that Elvis was the best and that noone could touch Elvis because of his voice and moves.
Both of them were awesome impersonating each other. I was impressed.
it would've made music history for them to both be on the stage & impersonating each other....talk about COMEDY GOLD...!!!!!
They were both great .I got to see Johnny Cash at the Broadway Theater in Pitman Nj ,in 88' or 89' . Great show .
I'll have to watch this another 1000 times to decide. LOL This was great. Thx for sharing. 💖
Hi Muse 77, This is a coin toss. I think that Visually Johnny Cash probably did a better job impersonating, while Elvis won in the category of vocal imitation, so it was a tie. Thank you so much for all your support and encouragement!!Keep on Rockin' my friend!!
@@DJGerryfromStarlightMusic I agree with you 100%. 😊
Totally love this video! Can't wait to show this share this w/others!
Amazing singers good performance... How are you Christina?
Wow, that's amazing, these two impersonating each other ...no one could do one another better than the men themselves. What respect for each other.
Wow 😳 WOW 😳 WOW that's awesome 👍😍😍 hello there 💝
Hi Frank, I am so glad that you liked this video my new friend!!
Thank you so much for your positive feedback!!
How fun! Cash goofing on Elvis, because honestly Elvis can’t be truly imitated and Johnny knew better than to try. And it was amusing to hear Elvis, with his rich voice intentionally singing comparatively flat like Cash. Good hearted fun all around.
Very accurate observations!!
Amazing singers with good performance still listening... How are you Cornbread?
Lol! What fun Those-Two had!! Elvis did a great vocal-impersonation, but I loved Johnny’s humour! (Guess it probably would have been easier to choose if We could have seen Elvis in-action. …Too-bad that wasn’t filmed!). Thanks for sharing this!! 😄
Hello Shelley, How are you doing?
He was the greatest. What’s your favorite Elvis song?
"I keep a close watch on this mouth of mine" might just be the best mixup of lyrics I've heard HAHAHA! absolute Legends!
Keep on rocking baby ✌️ ♥
Thank you, I will!!👍😎🤗🎸
" a fellow named Carl Perkins??!!" Son he was gold!
Does he not know who Carl Perkins was? That can’t be, can it?
@@purpleslog I guess my attempt to underplay the magnitude of Carl Perkins' importance in the Million Dollar Quartet must have gone undetected. Sort of like when the media used to refer to the Beatles as 4 young lads from liverpool. Btw, didn't the Beatles and Elvis compose "Blue Suede Shoes"? :-o.
He could have said “and a fellow called Elvis” then it might have clicked with you........just saying.
Agreed!
Amen!!
Johnny was just goofing but Elvis really nailed it.
Amazing ELVIS. RIP ELVIS. FRANCE.
Elvis never ceased to amaze me with all of his massive talent!
Impressive!!💞🕊⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ 🥰 Elvis did a great job..
Wow I’ve never ever heard of this and I’m a huge Johnny fan before everyone else after the movie became one thank you 😊
Thank you for watching!!
Two Titans of the music industry. Both men more relevant now than stars who had their time in the limelight just recently. Not knocking them, but will anyone still be talking about Maroon 5 or Kanye West 60/70 years later? It certainly puts it into context.
