at 4:55 it's one of the few things I miss about Photoshop, that sides were linked in the perspective adjustment. Move one corner, the opposite (across or down, depending on what you select) moves in sync. But you can (if i recall correctly) deactivate that and move them independently.
I agree with you. I wish Affinity Photo had that same option. Hopefully they add it someday!
Cảm ơn bạn!
Cảm ơn bạn! Tôi rất vui vì bạn thích hướng dẫn này. 🙂
Great tutorial, thank you. Now you have got me going to think about my next vacation - though it's the Alps not the Sea :) so maybe climbing out of the picture on ropes :)
Wow! That would make for a very exciting picture! 😊
That actually would be awesome!
Wow
Thank you! 🤗
Great instructions. Love doing these. Can you use other shapes for the frame?
Yes, you can make the frame whatever shape you want. 😊
Tried the elipse but couldn't see the select option for the pen tool outline after drawing it in the shape before selecting the background and mask.
Thank you for the nice tutorial
Can you make the same lesson using the iPad version?? I have the app for the iPad and some tricks I don’t know how to applied.
You can watch this tutorial using the iPad here: th-cam.com/video/WHMlsxbg-vg/w-d-xo.html 😊
@@AffinityRevolution Thank you 🙏 for the response
Super
Thank you! Glad you liked it. 😊
Thank you for this. I wouldlike to see how to make a frame around a photo if possible.
That's a good idea for a future video. Thank you!
@@AffinityRevolution Your welcome
Hey Ally, this is a great tutorial. Can you tell me why it is not working in Affinity Photo 2?
Hmmm... it should still work. What's not working for you?
Love it! You ever thought about doing any videos about album cover art?
That's a good idea, thanks! 😊
@@AffinityRevolution you welcome would love to see videos on this💯
Hey guys!
Great content as always. Is there anyway to incorporate a feather brush persay? I know you can feather the edges but I kind of want to feather with a brush like Adobe (I know naughty word!).
Thanks guys!
Sorry, I'm not sure what feather with a brush is. Could you share a link to a Photoshop video where they do what you're going for?
@@AffinityRevolution oh wow, l was actually messing around with Affinity yesterday and found out the best way to do it.
Use the eraser tool and set the hardness to like 10% and go over the edges of your photo for that feathered finish!
Hi Ally I don't know what I'm doing wrong but when I add the perspective filter it won't move the rectangle with it? I've never used it before.
I'd double check you have the filter applied to the rectangle, and not applied to the mask layer or some other layer.
Can this be done on an iPad? Great video.
Yes! You can watch this tutorial using the iPad here: th-cam.com/video/WHMlsxbg-vg/w-d-xo.html 😊
Can that photo be achieved in the Affinity photo - iPad version ? Brilliant tutorial
You can! 😊 Watch this tutorial using the iPad here: th-cam.com/video/WHMlsxbg-vg/w-d-xo.html
@@AffinityRevolution thank you 🙏🏻
will any of this work with the ipad pro version?
Definitely! Check out this video: th-cam.com/video/WHMlsxbg-vg/w-d-xo.html
will this work in the Ipad version?
It sure will! You can watch this tutorial using the iPad here: th-cam.com/video/WHMlsxbg-vg/w-d-xo.html 😊
Can I do the same process with the iPad version?
You can! Watch this video to see how on the iPad: th-cam.com/video/WHMlsxbg-vg/w-d-xo.html 😊
@@AffinityRevolution thank you ☺️
Nice tutorial - thank you.
With the perspective function enabled, can’t we hold down the Option key to get both opposite corners to move equally in relation to the center?
Hmm... I can't get that option to work for me. Are you able to do that?
@@AffinityRevolution - my computer isn’t on at the moment… admittedly perhaps I was thinking of ‘another App’ - one whose name had a PS in it? If Affinity Photo doesn’t have that feature, they need it, OR it may exist just may be a different key combo.
@@noahjuanjuneau9598 Ahh yes, I think that is one of those things that "the other app" has but Affinity is missing. I hope they add that feature soon!
@@AffinityRevolution I love Affinity anyway!
