      @@lyricbread Affinity doesn't have that ability yet, but the developers say they will add that in a future update to the program. 😊

    Great video about the thresholds tool. I've not ever used that one. Cool effect. Thanks again, and as Greg below noted, it's always a good week when you bring out another tutorial for us.

      The Threshold adjustment definitely isn't an adjustment I use very often, but it does come in handy from time to time!

    when I hit command J to duplicate the layer, it doesn't isolate the selection I've made with the brush...it just duplicates the entire thing. Anyone know why this is happening?

    • @AffinityRevolution
      @AffinityRevolution  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      You probably need to rasterize your layer. Before making your selection, right click on the name of your layer from inside the Layer's Panel, and then scroll down to "Rasterize". Affinity usually rasterizes photos for you, but sometime it can be a little quirky and not do it.

    Great video and tutorial, thank you. When you painted back the areas inside the mask, did the brush end up aliasing your image and changing it from black/white? I'm struggling with this right now.
