No wonder that property is for sale, with neighbors like that. I'm glad Keith wasn't harmed. Great video reminder to careful out there while flying your drone. Thanks for sharing.
Ah yes, when your property shoot just goes south, way into the south. Now according to the plat map provided by my client, the seller, which was the same as that on TNpropetyviewer.com. That area that was graveled does belong to him the seller, he even stated it again when informed of how things went. He wasn't aware that his neighbor was using it as a driveway. I didn't even see the guy initially, just heard someone yelling. I did move to the road and was going to continue the shoot, one of the reasons for not just being in the road to start was it was a single lane and deep ditches on either side, didn't want to be blocking anyone. That wasn't good enough either. As he continued to his freak out. He just didn't want me there at all. So yes, I left. This area of Bledsoe County didn't have any cell service whatsoever, I had nothing. Although I was open carrying, it didn't faze this guy in the slightest and I was doing my best not to escalate the situation. Those are some of the scariest types. Of course, in these areas there are bears, snakes and other critters you don't want to come across, Crazies not so much. This guy chased me in his truck 4.3 miles to the small store/bait shop where I tried to stop and use a phone. After leaving there he continued chasing me for another 3.5 miles and was brandishing his shotgun out the window of his truck. On my rear the whole time. Yes, I did report the incident to the Sherriff's office and had the option to press charges of threatening and something else, I don't remember. I opted not to simply due to not wanting to have to put any more time into it. They viewed the same video you did and were very disturbed by it. So, they did go out and talk to the man. I don't know the outcome of that interaction. My client wanted it reported as he will be sending others out there and wants them to be able to do what they are sent there for. He will be having it properly surveyed as well, so as to limit this sort of interaction as from the photo's I did manage to get show there may be some serious encroachment issues. This is the one time where I really felt there was a danger to myself and is now the worst encounter I have had. With luck that will be the case, and just something to laugh about for years to come. To be fair, Keith was on his property. Also I'm a redneck, and most of us are quite friendly. We don't act like this guy but also, we have no idea who the guy is or what he's been put through. Everyone has a story and I'm sure people have tried to violate his rights in the past which doesn't necessarily excuse his behavior, but it helps us understand it. Keith did good in de-escalating and leaving. And yes, he does carry body cam footage. Thats a lie.
Years back when the part 107 was not required, I always notified the neighbors of what I was doing while taking areal photos of an adjoining property. I had them sign off a permission form or would not fly if they refused.
No, he wasn't on crazy guy's property. In a comment in this thread under the name "DDsAerialViews" Keith makes it quite clear that he was on the seller's property. The crazy guy is improperly using it as his personal driveway without the owner's knowledge. And the whole "we have no idea what he's been through, I'm sure people have tried to violate his rights in the past" is pretty lame. I can tell you endless stories and anecdotes of people I know who have had "their rights violated", some in ways that would make you sick to your stomach with disgust, none of them act this way. I've got my own, in fact. So, no it wouldn't "help us understand" why the guy is a violent sociopath. Having many relatives and extensive family history in the South, I will agree with you that most people in the South are "quite friendly". Right up until they're not. And the reason for NOT being friendly may never make sense to anyone but them. There is a culture of misplace pride down there along with an endless number of enablers that convince each other that it's OK to have misplaced pride, provided you "have a story".
@@marknielsen9315 He was blocking the only driveway into the property the guy came from, so it was a main access regardless if it was shared or what the county document lists. You don't pull into anyone's driveway and park unless you have business there or plan to introduce yourself and reason for being on property or an emergency that requires you to be out of the road. While I don't agree with the old man's tactics, I could see how he could view things as trespassing, etc.
I would be upset if someone parked in my driveway, then flew a drone over where they could survive me. People move to the country for privacy. The drone flyer should have given the given the property owner a business card to try to mitigate the situation.

Thinking it’s time for me to stop flying drones. I wear a yellow FAA safety vest which makes a positive difference in how people interact with me but being threatened when doing your job is never ok. Part 107 means nothing to dim witted fools like that. Definitely should have pressed charges though. It’s a federal crime as drones or any flying object under control of a pilot is protected. Otherwise it just keeps happening as they feel they can police this themselves. If they fired a shot at the drone it’s considered an act of terrorism by the FAA. That being said. Leaving as fast and as calmly as possible is always the best option and call the police or sheriff immediately afterwards. Slangevar Craig

I've had it happen to me as well! The person also tried to hit me with his truck. I did call the police and they came right out. Filled out a statement and all.
Stay safe gentlemen
To be fair, Keith was on his property. Also I'm a redneck, and most of us are quite friendly. We don't act like this guy but also, we have no idea who the guy is or what he's been put through. Everyone has a story and I'm sure people have tried to violate his rights in the past which doesn't necessarily excuse his behavior, but it helps us understand it. Keith did good in de-escalating and leaving. And yes, he does carry body cam footage. Thats a lie.
Probably those pesky laws violating his right to cook his meth wherever he damn well pleases!
He was not in the guys property he was on his clients property!
@@Goldchucker1you don’t have to do that at all though. They do not own the airspace
Ken, I’m bored! We need to get him a bullet proof vest! See y’all later, gonna go make some biscuits!
Lesson = don't park in someone's driveway.
He had documentation stating it was the person who requested his works driveway, not the gun toting maniac's
He wasn’t there moonbat.
Some time ago, someone shot my phantom 4 pro + down, for no reason.
Ken I’m Board!
Always loving your educational videos 😂 But it is sad you have to film everything so you have proof for these kind of situations. Luckily no drones or persons were harmed this time.
Glad you posted this.
That guy needs about a 100 drones flying over his house right now.
Why?Its his property ass munch millennial
Ken I’m board!
That’s crazy imagine being this guy’s neighbor I bet he’s a real neighborhood menace
Ken I'm bored! Until Keith was given word biscuits. 😂
Ken I’m Board!
Long time Fan here from Switzerland usually the silent watcher but I just wanted to comment on how crazy these gun laws are in the us I couldn’t t even imagine seeing a gun getting pointed in my direction or just waved around you got some balls of steel please be safe out there and I really hope the laws around drones change here and around the globe since it’s really shiny rn
Thanks for speaking up!
🇨🇭👍
KEN IM BOARD! And I'm not sure I would've handled that as nice as Keith did! Kudos Keith!
I take BPO photos for a living and I run into those backwoods mouth breathers all the time.
And the value of having the camera on all the time now.

Great job Keith. I worked on that county years ago. They don't have the budget for body cams. Oh the things I could talk about similar situations up there. Ken I'm BOARD!
Ken I’m board, glad this did not escalate further.
Karens will never give you a chance to leave. They have to have an irrational control of the situation. It will never be, "Can you please leave?" Then walk away and continue to do what they were doing like watching re-runs of He-Haw or the Dukes of Hazard.
You think this dick would’ve left?Really. He would have lol at you for asking politely.Stya off people property 🖕you act like it’s your right to go somewhere that’s not yours?
Ken I’m board!
Thanks for another great video, glad nobody got hurt.
KEN I'M BOARD!
Ken I'm Board! Also great job keeping cool, Keith!
Ken I'm Board! Man that guy has some serious issues! Wow, sorry you had to go through that! Glad you got out safely.
KARENS ARE SOOO FUN! Ken I'm board, but you spiced up my morning! Thanks Bro, for all the great "stuff" you do for our hobby! And for your awesome sense of humor! 👍😎
My pleasure!!
what's the male version of Karen?
@@jeffclassics NEWMAN?
The second part is hilarious 😂

Kent, I'm board! 😂
KEN I'M BOARD! Nobody should treat Kieth so badly for pulling into the entrance of their property. But the CONTENT is gold!!
Not according to the seller/client or the county platt map. I didn't argue as I have had some platt maps that are not accurate. Only a proper survey would tell us for sure. It was the area the seller said would be good to park as the road is a single lane. The seller was unaware that his neighbor was using it as a driveway.
Was t that scumbags property or was Keith’s clients property
Awesome.
I'm Board! I noticed Keith didn't show that guy his drone license or ague his rights as a drone pilot. lol
Ken I'm Board! What a nice guy. He got you content and didn't even think to send you a bill. How lucky is that?
Ken I'm board!
I'm enjoying these Keith videos. I'm thinking it should become a daily segment. lol
Love Keith using his Jedi-Mind-Tricks.... That crazy neighbor could clearly see Keith's gun and he wasn't afraid of it. Way to go!! 🤣😂🙃
Ken, i'm boared. That was for the board... but I'm not bored, it's great you really show the real life. So also the downs, you're so positive❤
Ken, I'm board (really board, lol.) That's insane that he has to experience that. Great video and love the format used and how you edited the video.
Ken, I'm board... scary video, glad all were safe.
KEN I'M BOARD!
I rarely encounter Karens when I'm out flying, but it has happened.
Ken, I'm board!!!!
It's content like this that keeps me occupied and well educated though. I'd like to say keep em coming, but at the same time, that would mean having to get into more confrontations; which can be very dangerous if you encounter the wrong kind of people. So you guys keep it safe out there .... much love to you guys, from Northern KY ♥️
KEN I'M BOARD!
It really is crazy (literally) that someone could get shot over simply flying a drone, or parking on what appears to be an Easement (not actually on his property).
According to the seller/client or the county platt map. I didn't argue as I have had some platt maps that are not accurate. Only a proper survey would tell us for sure. It was the area the seller said would be good to park as the road is a single lane. The seller was unaware that his neighbor was using it as a driveway.
@@DDsAerialViews Ooops, I just deleted my above reply (on your reply to hrphomerepair comment).
Yes, I understand that only surveys are accurate (I had mine surveyed) and I said that because our (FL) Property Appraiser maps show the where the easements are (plus wanted to help Ken's YTube-arithm). But none of that matter because "he was beyond irrational" = best to just leave/let him to drown in his anger 👍
Ken I'm board
Great video, so ridiculous this stuff goes on.
Thanks Ken for all that you do! Taught me much past couple of years.
You are very welcome my friend!
Ken, I’m board! Of these loonies that are so afraid of drones 😂🎉
KEN I’M BORED. Crazy people like that is why I always carry my gun when I leave the house. Stay safe guys.
Ken, I'm bored. I appreciate your educational yet entertaining approach to your videos. Never afraid to use subtle sarcasm!
Ken I'm Board!
How can I be bored when you provide such wacky entertainment. 😂 Thanks for all the laughs
KEN I'M BOARD!
I've been threatened while flying before. It sucks no matter what happens. Great video.
Ken, I’m bored! Thanks for all the great content over the years. Looking forward to your future work!
Should I break out the fire support team? I got a group of 5 shooters ready. I'd bet the farm that he doesn't have near the firepower that I can show up with. Send Keith my number.
KEN I'M BOARD!!! Not so funny altercation. I have had only about 3 that either got me scared or annoyed. Just wondered what your client had to say about his neighbor.
My client had nothing good to say about that guy, guess there's been encroachment issues from day one. He's sending survey crew next as thats what the county suggested.
Ken I'm board! And I enjoyed the video, even though I'm sure Keith didnt
Ken I'm board! Love your videos. Glad noone got hurt
Ken I'm BORED ! What do you call a male Karen with a shotgun ? Terry 😂
Ken I'm board! Crazy that people are like that still.
Ken, I'm board.!! Why do people suck so baD???
KEN I'M BOARD!
keep them coming and we will keep watching you.
Ken, I'm Board! ... seriously i have been. been working for the last 6 days straight. thanks for the laughs now i want biscuits.
I honestly thought it was gonna be a skit at first 🤣
Ken I’m board! Always be on the lookout, Most of the time people are friendly and curious about drones. But once in a wile they're is one nut case.
That home owner was just Ken I'm board!!!!lol
Ken I'm board! I'm glad I haven't had any bad experiences with people. Most the time they are curious and ask a ton of questions
