It's not quite true. Comical, yes. Fortunately, it was the lens cover and not the lens. Inexpensive fix.

Yes, my clip made it in (16:23). I won't be attempting the under the legs trick again, for safety. Although my piloting skills are clearly exemplary. Thanks Ken, and that was probably the best one yet. Nice Work.

PS: The tree at the bottom of Reunion Tower was actually a good tree, and cushioned the landing.

My 15 Seconds of Fame are here! Thanks Ken! My crash is at 17:39 and the quad actually survived to fly again! So I went back the next day and tried again to make the power loop successfully and DID! So I pushed it for a DOUBLE powerloop... and the drone stayed at the top of the eucalyptus tree for 10 days until a friend helped me get it down with a compound bow and some string and then it flew fine after even that! It's an iFlight Nazgul5.
This cracked me up (no pun intended). The sound effects, the hilarious voiceovers, and the "Trees are dicks" shirts....Just awesome! Good TH-cam right here!

This was the best compilation, by far.
My first drone flight lasted about 20 seconds. got it up a few meters into the air, pushed the wrong stick forward and it flew right into a tree. Thankfully I was able to climb said tree and rescue it. Didn't even have a chance to press record :P Drone came out just fine, but I changed the props as a precaution.

Looks like the DJI mini 4 pro will avoid most of this. But not fishing line..... I just decided to buy the mini 2 just to go through all this stress. Better $315 rather than $800 loss.

Clipped a tree on RTH and the DJI Mini 2 fell into next-door neighbor's back yard. I thought I escaped disaster and then I saw their dog with the drone in its mouth. One way or another I'll get ya, I'll get ya, get ya, get ya, get ya - 😂

My cheap drone has a "return to home" feature when low signal or battery. Seriously I am surprised some of those drones don't have that.
