That looked easy. I was thinking it was a major deal. Mine makes noise. Sounds like playing cards hitting the spokes on a bicycle wheel. Who knows it might just be some debris in there that needs cleaned out. Gotta check in it. Thanks for showing me. Big help.
Thanks for this video. My blower motor used to make a lot of noise and I noticed it would stay on for a few seconds after shutting down the engine, after replacing it noise is gone but it still stay on for a few seconds after shutting down the engine, any advice.
I installed a new one and it randoming shut off. I have to drop it again, unplug it, plug it back in again, and then it works again. Not sure why. Is there an alignment on the fan that needs to be addressed when installing? There is a black marker tape on one fan blade, and on the other side a tiny clip at the bottom of another. Is that throwing it off balance or it is supposed to be there? Thanks.
@@carbotradingcompany4794 The clips are weights to balance the fan similar to weights on a car tire. It should be plug and play. Was this happening before? Does it need to be unplugged to reset or just turned off? Does turning the car off reset it?
@@ValleyMobileAutomotive Thank you. Replaced the blower motor yesterday and beautiful cold air is blowing from the vents. Best part was this video saved me $400 so thank you!
It's possible but I would try replacing your cabin air filter first. Linked is a video showing you how... th-cam.com/video/aKsV1Mqmz94/w-d-xo.htmlsi=LsjzDfrhA6CWiaNT
I just pulled a mouse nest out of my wife's Sienna where the cabin air filter and blower motor are located. It's now out of balance so I'm going to remove the motor and clean everything out of it. I can still feel debris in there that I can't get out.
TH-cam mechanics are angels man I swear . Thank you so much
Went from sweating bullets to a sigh of relief. Thanks a million!

Great job & thanks!👍
Would this help access the cogs above the blend door actuator? Don't have a Sienna but a '13 Prius that looks about the same.
Great video...thanks
Hey thanks man I love you 🫡

Seems like a safety feature, if it soon shuts off
Well, shit, that's an easy fix. Thanks for the helpful video
Clear codes optional? Where is a good place to order one from?
I put a link in the description 👍

Maybe a silly question but I have the noise similar to your video and ZERO air coming from the front vents. Rear work normal. Same issue?
@@Hog1975Wild It's possible. I would also check your cabin filter. If I'm not mistaken the rear vents use a separate fan motor.

My 2014 sienna has weak airflow even when turned all the way up. Would this solve this?
