I’m so glad I finally found someone which uses Australian brands, I still can’t believe people prefer overseas sunscreens when Australia has the best regulations and formulas!! Loved your channel❤️ could you please try the Mecca sunscreen and the cetaphil sun light lotion please, I heard these are really good!
Thanks for watching! Yess I'm so happy all my fellow aussies are finding my channel haha. I agree! Our sunscreens are literally the gold standard no need for any others. I have tried the Mecca one back in Jan but it broke me out so Im a bit scared to try it again lol. Might have to just go for it tho. I'll try the cetaphil as well thanks so much!
@@raziamoe great video! Sad to hear the Mecca broke you out. Was this the black spf50 one? It could be the oxybenzone - they have an oxybenzone free one now in case you tried the original formulation and want to give it another chance :)
I agree so much with your opinion on tinted sunscreens. I would rather have a spf with the highest protection possible, that doesn't sting eyes, feels amazing on the skin and doesn't have a white cast rather than something with color in it which doesn't match a lot of shades so most of the time tinted spfs are a waste of money for me
Thanks for watching! Yes agreed. Shade range is a huge issue as well with SPF. If only companies would just work on not having a white cast rather than tinted SPF lol.

@@raziamoeim glad i found your channel, make it easy for me to choose which brands i would considering buying as i dont have any idea. I really thought im buying a good one.
I wanted to talk about littllextra riceberry sunscreen, it's fantastic. I applied it on my face and neck. My skin is very dry, previously flaky and white, and even if I moved my finger over my skin. But now, I no longer experience any such issues. My skin is now very soft and smooth, even my itching of my skin is gone away. The face looks radiant when paired with the riceberry face serum. My cousin, who visited after a few months yesterday, even complimented me.
Ultra Violette Supreme Screen is honestly my favourite, I’ve never found a sunscreen that didn’t make me itchy, patchy and uncomfortable until I found UV.
Fantastic, informative video! I can’t wait to spend over thirty minutes staring at the skincare aisle at Chemist Warehouse, and hoarding back all your wonderful recommendations!
Wow!!! Thank you!! This is the best review of Aussie sunscreen ever!! I also think it’s the ONLY comprehensive video on this seriously important topic 💕
You have to try 2xp from chemist warehouse, I use the hydrate one on my face but they make specific ones for your face, and they're honestly amazing fragrance free and all that!!!
Great video. There are so many bad products out there and this is very informative. Another fantastic option is Mecca’s To Save Face SPF50+ Superscreen Oxybenzone Free Formula. It soaks into the skin quickly, has no bad smell or white cast, isn’t greasy and is beautiful under makeup!
I was so nervous watching this hoping the sunscreen I use wasn’t in the worst ranked ones lol ... happy to say, Bondi Sands is my go-to sunscreen and I agree with your review. Good, constructive video!!
Thank you soo much for your help. I was using the Skinsitute one for years and it kept leaving my face clogged and reading reviews isn't the same as first hand experience like yours in a video. Excellent job !
Great video. I stumbled across this today and it so good to see an Aussie talking about Australian products (or at least products easily found in Australia). I've tried lots but Natio is by far my fave 🙂.
I’m so happy I found you! I’ve recently been starting to get into skincare now that I’ve had my son and my skin is really changing. I know I’m supposed to wear sunscreen every day but I always think to that gloopy stuff we wore at the beach that would stick to everything. Living in Australia means I need advice about what’s on the market to us, thank you 😊
Hmm... Aussie sunscreens how can you leave out Mecca’s to save face. I used that easily for over 10 years. New favourite is the Ultraviolet lean screen for my oily skin
I had a bad experience with it a year ago and only recently tried it again since they reformulated it. I have a review on my instagram and will be including it in my next sunscreen video :)
oooo i was eyeing the Cetaphil UVA UVB Defence since it came in a LARGE bottle and a girl loves value 🤑 glad that i watched your video so i know to avoid it!
I second UV Supreme Screen, I really hated wearing sunscreen on my face before this beauty...onto my 6th tube! I use it as my moisturiser/primer/spf in the mornings. It also reapplies over makeup well if you gently pat it in. Worth every cent.
I'm darkskin and I've found that the dry touch does leave a white/blue cast even after rubbing it in. for anyone considering the Neutrogena dry touch be careful after application because it does tend to ball up even with minimal skincare.
My best friends Ethiopian and uses one from Mecca. She reckons it’s the best sunscreen, especially under makeup with no white residue, flashback or balling. I can ask her what brand it is if you like.
how have I only just found your channel after hours of researching sunscreens and only getting recommended stuff from overseas that isn't even sold here
I'm extremely fair, and I LOVE the Skinstitut one. I use it as a foundation, and it as I have dry skin, it nourishes my skin so well. If you aren't really fair I can see how it would not work well at all.
people are sleeping on bondi sands' sunscreens AAHHH so glad you reviewed them bc I SWEAR by their entire SPF range (I've never tried their tanning products lol!)
I bought the La Roche Posay Anthelios with the blue packaging from your recommendation! I'm very impressed and thankful for you!!! saving my skin this summer. AND YES you should be getting paid for this!
Australian sunscreens will always be my preferred choice due to the regulations! Loved this video and I had the exact same opinions as you! The Avene pilled soooo bad! Ultra Violette Queen Screen is my FAVE🧡
I’m so glad this fell into my recommended videos! I’ve become such a sunscreen hoarder because there aren’t many videos like this 😅 I literally have an excel spreadsheet of the sunscreens I like hahahaha. Subscribed and going to go and binge watch more of your vids!
thank you so much! I have been looking for a vid on affordable Australian recommendations for ages!! It's difficult because a lot of the American channels give great recs but they're always difficult to find down here
Thanks for watching! Yess agreed that's my main motivation behind my content haha we need more Aussies in the skincare space. Glad my video could help!
I have oily skin so sunscreen was once a nightmare for me. I have combination skin and started using nutrogena hydro boost SPF 50. I apply quite a generous amount after cleansing and toning and let it sink it for about 15 minutes. Afterwards I apply moisturiser and then lightly brush over translucent powder. The sunscreen is a great base and hydrates, add a dewy shine and somehow minimisers my pores! Oily skin people, Wayne Goss talks how to keep your foundation in place all day so not wearing sunscreen is no longer an excuse! I also tried a couple of Ultra Violet sunscreens but I hated all of them for how greasy they made me feel no matter what I did!
Finally! Someone recommending quality Australian sunscreen!!!! 🙌 Thank you so Razia 🥰 Love the azclear for a lazy day and la roche posay are my staples. Also a good cheapie is the Nivea sensitive 50+ ☺️
Nice video, I like reviews like this, not too preachy or fear mongering about the fragrance or certain filters, but focusing on the result and you disclose your skin type, which helps the viewer to adjust to their needs and what they search for in their spf ... I did notice something with the videos in which you apply the spf - you have gorgeous eyes, but you often skip or underapply the spf on you eyelids, so I say this with the best intentions, don't skip your eyelids.
Thanks for watching! Yes I'm over the fear mongering tbh I'm happy to hear I'm not contributing to that haha. Oh thank you! I definitely take care to apply spf on the eyelids on the daily but I may have been rushing and skipped that when filming these try ons vids haha. My bad 😅
definitely like Cancer Council and LRP for sunscreen and completely agree about neutrogena and stinging - had to use it up on my arms will stick with cancer council except I was hanging around YesStyle and my new pyungkangYul sunscreen (finally) arrived......(all spf50 of course)
Love this video review. Finding an Aussie location / chemist warehouse / supermarket affordable product review video is amazing. I have been buying and testing sunscreens out myself finding it frustrating to find the right one. Sooo glad I watched this review as it's saving me so much time and money, with all the facts I wonder myself about the sunscreens (white cast, thickness, greasiness, does it sink it, ball up etc etc). Love that I can see the application cause really that's the ultimate test once its applied to a full face and not just on the hand testing in stores. Love the ranking system too ❤️
Thanks for watching Niki! I'm glad you found it useful. Definitely can be frustrating to find the right products without wasting too much money i'm happy I could help ❤️
This video popped up right when I needed it! Was thinking today about what new sun cream to buy after trying the neutrogena and la Roche posey (that was a disaster). So hard to find TH-camrs that use Aussie products! And you are so beautiful and friendly
I am glad I saw your channel sister. I was so confused between kbeauty sunscreens.( and I know no blogger out there are being honest ) i am so happy now, such an honest review❤️I am going to grab it right NOW…
Thank you so much for making this video, you have no idea how much this has helped me. As a person with fairly dark, oily and acne prone skin, it has been very hard for me trying to find the right sunscreen. I used the Cetaphil one, and like you said, it was so bad it made me stop wanting to wear sunscreen. Chemist has a sale and free shipping delivery right now, so I will be buying many that were in your top mentions. Once again, thank you!!!
Oh man I'm so happy to hear that!! I hope you find that one ideal sunscreen!! And I also have another sunscreen review video that I posted recently in case you wanted some more options to choose from hahah ❤️
Cancer Council's SPF50+ Face Moisturizer Cream is my new favourite. It works well, doesn't make my skin feel oily and most importantly doesn't smell badly of sunscreen! I use it all over tbh. Since finding it I am actually using it everyday and I never used to before because most sunscreens smell terrible and the smell of sunscreen gives me headaches.
Amazing straightforward review, thank you so much! I have the Neutrogena Hydro Boost but it stung my eye so bad so I only use it on my neck area (or areas below my chin) now. I really love La Roche Posay Anthelios though. Hoping to try out the Ultra Violette soon!
I love the Azclear one, it's so gentle and doesn't sting my eyes and is great value. A random one I picked up recently for $13 is 11 pearls 50+ sunscreen lotion. I'd never heard of it but they're an Australian brand and I love it, not greasy or sticky but feels hydrating and leaves my skin soft. Lots of 50+ chemical sunscreens irritate my face after a few days of use but this is very gentle. I'll definitely repurchase. My skin is normal/oily, things like the Bondi Sands and Sun Sense I find too heavy for me unfortunately. Love an Aussie sunscreen review! 💜
I came looking in the comments seenif anyone else recommended Natio. I have super fair, sensitive skin and I love love love Natio moisturising sunscreen.
@@heatherb4918 Totally with you on that. I keep watching reviews on other sunscreens and buy new ones but time and time again find myself back at Natio. In my opinion, it truly is the best there is. I take it right up to my lids without any irritation. Really love it.
@@hannahtonkin4723 for me, absolutely. My skin is very fair with freckles (Scottish/Irish heritage), it burns but never tans. The Natio sunscreens have never let me down yet. Also don't dry out my skin like some sunscreens do. I use the Daily Defence 50+ face moisturiser, and the 50+ moisturising sun screen on my body. I can't recommend them highly enough 🙂.
OMG THANK YOU SO MUCH!! I NEEDED THIS RANKING SO BADLY YOU DONT EVEN UNDERSTAND!! i've been using the neutrogena sunscreen for a while now but it stings sometimes (especially under my mask) and leaves such a bad whitecast, I never even considered bondi sands and always thought i couldn't get good sunscreen in aus bc i couldnt get all the products that hyram talks about lololol will def be buying some of your top picks to try them out! thank you ❤️
Thank you so much. I have an oily skin and i have wasted a lot of money of these sunscreens. Even if the product desc says its suitable for oily skin , it does not … i am so glad i found your video. Some great recommendations. May Allah bless you sister .
This has been so helpful!! Love that you specifically tailored this to Aussie viewers. Also pleased that you also loved the Ultraviolette Screen Queen and LRP Invisible Anthelios! Have you tried the Mecca branded sunscreen? I've only tried a travel sample of the Screen Queen though and found the dropper to be a bit loose/annoying (so much product got left over in the bottom considering $ per ml) - is it easier to use up in the full size?
Thanks for watching! Yes I tried the Mecca one after filming this. I like it and I've got a little review on my Instagram. I didn't have any issues with the full size dropper actually. Smaller bottles can be a bit finicky sometimes haha.
As someone who lives on the coast near the qld border, who’s pale, who’s darkest tan is your natural skin colour, who has sensitive skin, (edited to add, I love a glow and moisture), Bondi sands is my go-to 100% recommended love of my life every day sunscreen lol
Hey Razia 🥰 I’m from Australia too and I really enjoyed this video. We’re both on the same page with our all-time favourite - I absolutely LOVE Ultra Violette’s Queen Screen. I really wanted to love Supreme as well as the one by La Roche-Posay but since alcohol is at the top of the ingredients list, I had to give them a miss. I’m not keen on the one by Azclear either because it has witch hazel and menthol in it. I have sensitive, dry(ish) skin too so the mattifying ones are a no-no for me as well. I had given up all hope on drugstore sunscreens but this video really persuaded me to try Bondi Sands. Just purchased it today from Woolies, fingers crossed it will work out well. 🤞💕
Hey! I'm glad to hear you enjoyed it! Bondi Sands is so good for dry skin I hope you love it! Also check out my more recent sunscreen review video, there may be some more options in that one for you ❤️
This is a major commitment on your behalf. Thank you for doing the hard work and trying them all. I settled on azclear after burning my face-off with Neutrogena and have never looked back. Will have to check out your other spf 50 recommendations !
Super duper helpful! thanks so much, absolutely love ultraviolette but my favourite one is actually Clean Screen...even though its SPF30 it's perfect for my sensitive skin!

Thanks for watching! I'm glad i could help
Its so so good right! Thanks for watching!
Thanks for doing the legwork for us testing all of those, it's a big help. Going to try those Bondi ones out.
Thanks so much for making this! I found it really informative and I’m more confident in picking what will be good for me
No problem! Thanks so much for watching, so glad I could help 💕💕
I haven’t been able to find one that doesn’t hurt my eyes thank you!
Try Sonny and Felix sunscreen, new brand that I recently tried and I dont get any eye sting. I have a review on my instagram if youre interested.
Fantastic, informative video! I can’t wait to spend over thirty minutes staring at the skincare aisle at Chemist Warehouse, and hoarding back all your wonderful recommendations!
Thanks for watching! Hahah happy shopping :)
Wow!!! Thank you!! This is the best review of Aussie sunscreen ever!! I also think it’s the ONLY comprehensive video on this seriously important topic 💕
Thanks for watching! Such high praise I appreciate it! Yes definitely so important! I'm glad you enjoyed the video💕 💕
You have to try 2xp from chemist warehouse, I use the hydrate one on my face but they make specific ones for your face, and they're honestly amazing fragrance free and all that!!!
Ohh never heard of that one! Will definitely check it out thanks!
Thanks for watching! Yes I tried that one after filming this. I have a review on my instagram, really enjoyed that one!
I was so nervous watching this hoping the sunscreen I use wasn’t in the worst ranked ones lol ... happy to say, Bondi Sands is my go-to sunscreen and I agree with your review. Good, constructive video!!
Loll, ooh the bondi sands is a goodie! Thanks for watching!
I love Bondi Sands. I used to buy Kose and Shiseido but after I read about Bondi Sands , I tried it and I’m hooked. Love it
Thank you soo much for your help. I was using the Skinsitute one for years and it kept leaving my face clogged and reading reviews isn't the same as first hand experience like yours in a video. Excellent job !
Thanks for watching! Ahh that sucks! Yeaaa that one didn't work for me at all haha. Glad you enjoyed the vid ❤️
Great video. I stumbled across this today and it so good to see an Aussie talking about Australian products (or at least products easily found in Australia). I've tried lots but Natio is by far my fave 🙂.
Thanks for watching! Ohh yes I hear good things about the Natio one, I'll be reviewing it in my next sunscreen video!
Thank you for making a vid on Aussie sunscreens. Appreciate it!
No problem! Thanks for watching!
I’m so happy I found you! I’ve recently been starting to get into skincare now that I’ve had my son and my skin is really changing. I know I’m supposed to wear sunscreen every day but I always think to that gloopy stuff we wore at the beach that would stick to everything. Living in Australia means I need advice about what’s on the market to us, thank you 😊
Thanks for watching! Yes I felt the same way about sunscreen until quite recently! Its good to know we have some good options on the market :)
Came here for this comment because Omg the new oxybenzoate free one is literally the only sunscreen that won’t give me an allergic reaction
Thank you - your review was so thorough. This is the first time I have found your videos. I’ve subscribed - I can’t wait for more.
Thanks for watching! So happy to have you here 😊
Finally an Australian skincare channel
Yasss haha thanks for watching!
Yes girl, you took one for the team! Here for this Aussie content! xx Thanks so much for this!
Thanks for watching! Yess haha and I'm not done, theres too many sunscreens I wanna try lol.
oooo i was eyeing the Cetaphil UVA UVB Defence since it came in a LARGE bottle and a girl loves value 🤑 glad that i watched your video so i know to avoid it!
Hahah oh man that one was awful 😂
I second UV Supreme Screen, I really hated wearing sunscreen on my face before this beauty...onto my 6th tube! I use it as my moisturiser/primer/spf in the mornings. It also reapplies over makeup well if you gently pat it in. Worth every cent.
Soo good I love it! Definitely worth it. Thanks for watching!
I'm darkskin and I've found that the dry touch does leave a white/blue cast even after rubbing it in. for anyone considering the Neutrogena dry touch be careful after application because it does tend to ball up even with minimal skincare.
Ohh ok thanks for letting us know! I think the Cancer Council Matte is probably a better option then
My best friends Ethiopian and uses one from Mecca. She reckons it’s the best sunscreen, especially under makeup with no white residue, flashback or balling. I can ask her what brand it is if you like.
Could be their 'save face' one. It has a lot of fans.
how have I only just found your channel after hours of researching sunscreens and only getting recommended stuff from overseas that isn't even sold here
Thanks for watching! Hahah its such a struggle no one talks about Aussie products!
Same here
I'm extremely fair, and I LOVE the Skinstitut one.
Yess I'm soo surprised by them!! They're so good! Hahaha same I don't tan so never thought to look in their direction lol
I bought the La Roche Posay Anthelios with the blue packaging from your recommendation! I'm very impressed and thankful for you!!! saving my skin this summer. AND YES you should be getting paid for this!
I'm so happy to hear that! Thanks for watching! Haha yess hopefully soon let's hope 2021 brings some of that $$$ in loll
thank you for taking a time and shoot all those sunscreens applied to the skin
Thanks for watching! I'm glad you enjoyed it!
Australian sunscreens will always be my preferred choice due to the regulations! Loved this video and I had the exact same opinions as you! The Avene pilled soooo bad! Ultra Violette Queen Screen is my FAVE🧡
Thanks for watching! Yes love our sunscreens!
I’m so glad this fell into my recommended videos! I’ve become such a sunscreen hoarder because there aren’t many videos like this 😅 I literally have an excel spreadsheet of the sunscreens I like hahahaha. Subscribed and going to go and binge watch more of your vids!
Hahaha yesss another sunscreen hoarder! I've got a list going as well because I'm planning a part 2! Too many options to try lol. Thanks for watching!
thank you so much!
This is so great and so relevant! I have been waiting for an Aussie skincare TH-camr who reviews Aussie brands! You are a great Australian! 😁🇦🇺
Thanks for watching! I'm glad you enjoyed it!
Thank you so Razia 🥰
Love the azclear for a lazy day and la roche posay are my staples.
Also a good cheapie is the Nivea sensitive 50+ ☺️
Thanks for watching! Yes love both of those! Ohh yes heard a few recs for the nivea I'll have to check it out! Thanks😄
My bad 😅
This is the best recommendation i get from TH-cam
Thanks so much for watching 😄
definitely like Cancer Council and LRP for sunscreen and completely agree about neutrogena and stinging - had to use it up on my arms will stick with cancer council except I was hanging around YesStyle and my new pyungkangYul sunscreen (finally) arrived......(all spf50 of course)
Haha right I gave the neutrogena to my brother he used it up at the beach ahah. Ohh I'm yet to try Korean sunscreens they all sound so good.
Thanks for watching and thank you for your kind words xx
You popped up on my fyp and I am so stoked to have found you! You’ve helped me narrow down my search for my fave sunscreen! Thanks for this video 💛
Im so glad you enjoyed this video and it helped you out! Thanks for watching 💛
I am glad I saw your channel sister. I was so confused between kbeauty sunscreens.( and I know no blogger out there are being honest ) i am so happy now, such an honest review❤️I am going to grab it right NOW…
Thanks for watching!
im v impressed with your ability to thoroughly review all these products in a relatively concise way
Love love love Bondi Sands tinted - even on oily skin the regular (non matte) is a dream. Doesn't break me out! A bargain too!!
Such a good find right!
Amazing straightforward review, thank you so much!
I have the Neutrogena Hydro Boost but it stung my eye so bad so I only use it on my neck area (or areas below my chin) now. I really love La Roche Posay Anthelios though. Hoping to try out the Ultra Violette soon!
Thanks for watching! Oh man the Neutrogena eye sting is no joke! Oh yes UV sunscreens are amazing, must try :)
Yes the Azclear is so nice! Oh haven't heard of that one I'll have to check it out. Thanks for watching!
You should try Natio 50+ moisturiser. It's affordable and awesome.
Yes I'll be checking out natio soon thanks!
Do you find that it still gives adequate sun protection even though it’s a moisturiser? That part confuses me
@@hannahtonkin4723 for me, absolutely.
Great video!! Don't forget to use sunscreen on your eyelids as well most people don't think about them when applying sunscreen
Thanks for watching! Yes of course can't skip the eyelids!
Thanks Razia, I needed sunscreen and I've just used ur Chemist Warehouse link😉
Ohh thanks so much Kate ❤️
Before i found you i had just purchased the cetaphil yesterday oops but i can use body
And now i can go get bondi sands or la roche. Big Thank You
Ahh no I hated that one ahaha, that's great that you can still use it up tho! Oh yes those are both great options I hope you enjoy them!
OMG THANK YOU SO MUCH!! I NEEDED THIS RANKING SO BADLY YOU DONT EVEN UNDERSTAND!! i've been using the neutrogena sunscreen for a while now but it stings sometimes (especially under my mask) and leaves such a bad whitecast, I never even considered bondi sands and always thought i couldn't get good sunscreen in aus bc i couldnt get all the products that hyram talks about lololol will def be buying some of your top picks to try them out! thank you ❤️
Thanks for watching! I'm so glad you found this helpful, loll I can relate, we dont have any products he mentions here haha
My first sunscreen that I used was also SunSense! Thanks for the video! Finally found an Aussie Skin care TH-camr
Thanks for watching! Yess love sunsense!
New subbie from a fellow Ozzie. Loved this video and so happy I can follow someone where I can easily locate products in Australia. Thank you x
Thanks for watching! I'm so glad you enjoyed the video!
Thanks for watching! Yes I love the Azclear its so nice to use!
Omg i just got the la roche posay one and i looove it, thank u sm 🥰❤
No worries! Thanks for watching!
Super duper helpful! thanks so much, absolutely love ultraviolette but my favourite one is actually Clean Screen...even though its SPF30 it's perfect for my sensitive skin!
Only one I haven't tried from UV! Glad to hear you love it!
