I find with any neutrogena sunscreen, you can apply it just on your chin then somehow a few hours later when you’re driving on the motorway, it finds its way into your eyeball and temporarily blinds you from pain as you try and get to emergency stopping lane 😂
I use Cancer Council Face Day Wear SPF50+ Moisturiser Matt & I absolutely LOVE IT!!! Doesn't leave my skin oily or greasy. Focuses on anti-ageing so it's ideal for all skin types.
You're doing god's work here by testing so many sunscreens. Thank you so much for making these videos, truly helps me decide on which sunscreen to buy for my dark skintone
I love your channel but these sunscreen videos especially! Thank you for doing these. I bought the Bondi Sands one because of you. So helpful to have a lovely Australian based skincare TH-camr. I'm really happy you like the Natio one as I use that one although more recently the Rosewater one! I'm excited for the physical/natural sunscreen video as I haven't had much luck with those yet. I'm looking to try the Invisible Zinc brand but haven't yet. I do know Natio is about to drop a natural zinc sunscreen later this month. I think it's the 26th! Hopefully it's a smooth as their SPF face moisturisers.
Thanks so much! I haven't had much luck with mineral sunscreens either, so that video will be an interesting one lol. Ooh I'll keep my eyes peeled for the Natio one!
I have that Natio sunscreen! Mum bought me a Natio set for my birthday because I love the brand + I'm trying to be better about skincare. I'm glad to know its Raiza approved 😅 She must have great taste because I do have oily skin lol
I have oily/combo skin I looove that Natio sunscreen. I use the rosewater version and its such good value and a joy to use after years of being patchy with my sunscreen application. My only nitpick is the packaging! Really easy to accidentally use more than you actually need.
Thanks Razia. I love the Hawaiian Tropic one too. The Mecca Cosmetica sunscreen is fabulous too but it’s easier to get the Hawaiian Tropic or Bondi Sands ones as I live in the country. Hang in there with lockdown.
Love this! Have you tried the DermaVeen SPF? I reckon you would LOVE it! It’s quite thick, but dries down really nicely and leaves a nice glow. Even though I have combo skin, it doesn’t make me look like a grease ball. It’s super moisturising, no eye sting, and water resistant 🥰
thank you so much for putting emphasis on the size of the sunscreens !! i hate seeing a $30 sunscreen with a 50ml packaging like ??😭😭 this review is overall so well done🥰
Thanks for entertaining me during lockdown Razia! I've spent way too much buying SPF though lol, absolutely love Naked Sundays especially their mineral sunscreen!
Your glow is amazing! But I am a matte girl, I can’t handle my face feeling/looking greasy. My worst sunscreen to date was Solar D it was disgusting and also stung my whole face even though it was sensitive kids formula. My fav is the QV one. I am certain I get 150ml for $18 at CW. I think at Priceline it’s $18 for the small 70ml bottle
Have you tried the DermaVeen sunscreen? It’s a body sunscreen but it’s very lovely on the face, you may like it as it has a more radiant glow and it’s well loved on the Aussie skincare subreddit :)
Yay to Natio . That’s the one I’m using . I purchased the the large Natio sun care moisturising sun lotion 500mls and it only cost 💲 25 bucks I love this . Thanks for the reviews and applying them . Great video . Hello from the Whitsundays, Razia . I hope your doing well . Hang in there , surly lockdown won’t last forever 🤞 🤞
Yay this is my favourite series, here’s hoping there’s a part 3 hehe. I also love that you consider all skin types when discussing these. Would you say the best sunscreens here sit well under makeup?
I'm glad you like them! Hahah who knows I might have to do another but regardless I promise theres plenty of sunscreen content to come. So all the good ones in the vid work fine with makeup but the best in this vid would have to be Mecca since its actually designed to feel and act as a primer. If you need something more moisturising then go for Naked Sundays.
I have dry/normal skin and emollient/creamy sunscreens tend to break me out, I looove the Neutrogena ones but they sting my eyes pretty bad. I’ve been loving the Hawaiian Tropics one this winter though! Not too greasy and leaves a nice glowy finish that dries down
Fantastic video, love all your efforts this was such a great round up. Did you have issues with any under makeup, pilling etc? You made a point of mentioning it in your last video but not this time so wanted to double check. Thank you.
Thanks so much! I'm glad you liked it. No issues with pilling with any so that's why I just didn't bring it up. I should've been more clear tho my bad 😅 If a sunscreen pills and doesn't work with makeup I will always make sure to mention it. I hope that clears that up 😊
Yes but if you apply it carefully with your finger, similar to how you would an eye cream you can avoid this from happening. And then setting with powder is an extra measure to ensure it doesn't run down as the day goes on.
Btw have you tried Nivea sun sensitive spf50+ sunscreen ( white bottle with orange lid) it’s fragrance free ,4 hour water proof . It’s so far my fav western sunscreen apart from la roche posay wet skin sunscreen
Hi Razia, just found you... and watched your previous sunscreen video. Will be using your links to CW. And, btw: Reddit has just launched an office in Australia! cheers, Annette
I love your review so much! FYI- I tried the Mecca sunscreen back in 2019 and it broke me out Horribly. Switched to La Roche Posay Anthelios and never looked back 🤣
@Razia Moe You are an absolute joy to watch! Your videos are incredibly informative and your voice is so soothing! Thank you for all of the hard work you put in to make these videos. I've spent the last month searching for a good UVA/UVB, particularly high UVA as that is what blocks aging, sunscreen after realizing that my Korean and Japanese sunscreens left me either too matte (Missha Aqua 50 PA++++) or left me too dewy and pilled under my makeup (Hado Labo SPF 50 PA++++. The one in the tub) and you're the first person who gives an all around account of each sunscreen and who they're good for. Right now I've only been using Aveeno Positively Radiant Daily Moisturizer with spf 30. I love it, but can't find the UVA rating and fear it isn't enough. Just curious, have you had any experience with this moisturizer? And finally, if you had to choose just 1 sunscreen, out of all of the sunscreens you've used in your life, to use for the rest of your life which would you choose? Thank you again!
Oh thanks so much for leaving such a sweet comment! Yes it can be so hard to find the right sunscreen so i hope my content can help make that a bit easier. My #1 would have to be Ultraviolet Supreme Screen because i can easily wear it year round with or without makeup. I haven't tried the Aveeno one, I can only try ones that are available in Australia, I'm not sure if that one is.

Mate , I thought I was the only one who doesn’t like that cetaphil sunscreen. Not sure if it’s because I have dry skin and “ light weight” “ dry-touch” type of sunscreen will be too dry for me, but that sunscreen pills on me so bad. And I tried their kids version called liposumol, which is so so much better.
Omg they're awful! I've heard about the kids one a couple times but I'm just not willing to bother with Cetaphil anymore lol. There are better options out there anyway l
Loved this! Thanks again for taking the time to post more. Just noticed that Kmart are now stocking a 50+ face sunscreen for $6 and it seems pretty good!
I’m trying out Aussie cruelty free sunscreens (I’m trying to find an everyday staple, which is currently the Mecca), aaaaaaand I hate it. So far I’ve only tried two Natio & Mecca (my usual). • Natio - is great because you can get it for like $13 on sale, which makes it very affordable. But, it seems to clog up my pores, and then make me breakout, like crazy. So it’s a no for me. • Mecca - has a really great reputation, is a cult classic, thick and moisturising, buut I think it’s also clogging my pores, but a lot less than the Natio. Never on sale, $40. I’m going to try the ultra violet next, but as someone who is unemployed it’s already too pricy.
Hey! Sorry to hear they didn’t work for you! It can be so tricky to find the right sunscreen. Have you tried Bondi Sands? The Bondi Sands Hydra Fluid is great. There’s a new sunscreen brand I’ve just tried called Sonny and Felix. They have a sunscreen that’s specifically made for breakout prone skin. And it’s really quite nice. Has a moisturiser look and feel so also handy to minimise steps in your routine. I’ll leave a link here for you if you’re interested ☺️ sonnyandfelix.com.au/collections/resort-style/products/nude-e
Thanks for those recs! I've actually got the niacinamide toner but haven't used it yet since I'm using another Niacinamide atm but I'm keen to try it out! Love to hear its working well for you ☺️
I have never applied sunscreen on my face. And maybe a handful time at the beach. Iam finally accepting that sunscreen is important as a black person 😂 SPF above 50 is better right ?
Hi Razia, I really enjoy your videos. They are such a help for me. Concerning sunscreens, there have been some studies saying that they are harmful for the skin what's your opinion about it? I'm confused
Hey thanks so much! Theres always so much misinformation spreading regarding all things skincare but especially sunscreen. I make a note to follow experts and derms on social media and get information from them. When these rumours start spreading these doctors do an amazing job of addressing them and dispelling the myths and always reference the research they use. A very generalised response to your query is that no, sunscreens are not harmful to the skin. Sunscreen is an essential step to ensure your skin is protected from UV rays, and these UV rays ARE in fact harmful to the skin. I hope this could help ease your confusion. For more information from an expert you should check out Lab Muffin Beauty Science's youtube channel and blog. Also check out Dr Dray here on youtube.
😊 Thanks just in time, I am trying ultra violets new mineral sunscreen because my eyes sting/hurt with all chemical sunscreens I have, even Meccas, to the point I have to take it off! and reapplying just means I have to take off sooner
Hie Razia! Girl I love your videos❤️you saved my skin I swear!! One question, where did you buy that Hawaiian Tropic sunscreen? Because I can’t find the same one anywhere
Hi, I really enjoy and love watching your videos! I really needed to get a sunscreen but just wasn’t sure which one would be the best and this video definitely made my life easier! ☺️I can’t wait to try the naked sundays sunscreen! 😍 I was just wondering if you also would recommend the naked sundays spf 50+ hydrating mist to reapply throughout the day? Thank you! ❤️
Hey thanks for watching! I have tried the mist, I actually reviewed it in an earlier video about reapplying spf I'll link it here for you ❤️ th-cam.com/video/O1QTvUThIAY/w-d-xo.html
Have you tried sukin sunscreen? My sister who’s a lot more tan than me (because she’s in Queensland haha) says that it’s great and has ZERO white cast despite being zinc oxide! I got it for myself recently and shes right, it’s super nice, and leaves my skin kinda glowy kinda matte. It’s also spf 30
Thank you for the advice and the video very informative. What do you recommend for the skin as I pray 5 times a day, and washing the face I feel takes it away.
Can you please tell me if those sunscreens are halal or not . Please help me with this I'm really struggling to find a nice sunscreen that is halal. Please reply .😭😭
Hi Razia! Wondering if you have ever tried the Natio Rosewater Hydration Moisture Balance Day Cream SPF 50+? It’s lightweight, non greasy, has a pleasant light rose scent, broad spectrum uva/uvb. I’ve been using it for years and it’s great! I haven’t seen any reviews on it tho and I’m wondering if all of its good qualities are too good to be true! 😩
Hey! Nooo I haven't! I was tossing between a couple of Natio sunscreens to try and skipped over the rosewater haha. Great to hear its working well for you! The best sunscreen is the one you'll wear. This Natio rosewater has a high SPF and you enjoy wearing it so that's all that matters 🥰
Carroten is the shit in Greece! I had no idea they were now selling in Australia! EDIT: How do you find the Naked Sunday's sunscreen around your eyes? Is it irritating at all?
Oh no way! I was trying to figure out where this brand was from haha. I've only tried that one and loved it! They've got a nice large range at Chemist Warehouse too. Not irritating around that eyes at all! Lovely product all round 😊
hi razia, you are beautiful! i am so new to 'skin care'. only a few months, and haven't been using spf. but after all the serums, when you say this one or that one is particularly moisturising does that mean you could cut out the moisturiser step? just go from serums to spf? or still serums>moisturiser>spf? and does spf take place of a primer? or do you do spf>primer? sorry for so many questions!!
Hi Razia, Thank you for your review. I have oily skin and hate shiny finish. For me even la Roche Posay invisible fluid is too shiny and oily. Which sunscreen you reviewed has the lightest texture and sits well under make up?
Hey Razia! Thanks for making something to look forward to during lockdown 🥲🥲 just wanna know what you think of tinted moisturizer with spf in it. I’ve been using invisible zinc sheer defense with spf50 on it but I’m not sure if I still need to put on ‘normal’ sunscreen underneath it… I just dont wear makeup very often so tinted moisturizer is kinda my fav, esp with spf on it, but now I’m not sure if it’s enough…
Hey! So with tinted moisturisers you just want to make sure you apply enough same as any other sunscreen 1/4tsp for face and 1/2 tsp for face neck ears. So as long as you can comfortably apply that much of the tinted spf you dont need another sunscreen underneath. Hope that helps!
thank u for this video! recently i started using the bondi sands sunscreen and my skin experienced some breakouts around my cheek area 😩 not sure if its because of the sunscreen or caused by lack of sleep after watching this video i might go ahead and splurge on the mecca/ laroche posay sunscreen 😂 do you usually moisturize under moisturizing sunscreens or do you skip the step?
No worries at all! Oh no it might be too heavy for your skin? Yea try something more lightweight and see if it helps. Also make sure to cleanse properly to get all the sunscreen off bc that can make a big difference as well. Yes I skip moisturiser underneath those moisturising sunscreens. Saves me a step in the morning haha.
Quite new to all this skincare business but if I were to get a sunscreen that also moistures does that mean i wouldn't need to purchase a separate moisturiser anymore?
Yes exactly. Instead of layering moisturiser then sunscreen you can just use the one product. You would still need a regular moisturiser for your night time routine tho.
The Cancer Council Matt sunscreen stinks my eyes after a couple of hours. I got my husband to try n it did the same to him. Love the texture, what a shame.
Please try Dalton's Suncare spf 50+ especially. Because few of my friends use it and it works fine for them but when I used it for the first time today it started to burn my face for like fourteen hours, my face became all red, swelled up and it kept burning like my face was at hundred degrees.....I don't know what the hell is wrong with this sun care / sunscreen of Dalton SPF 50+......need your guidance please.....
Really curious about the Natio sunscreens. I love the La Roche posay invisible fluid but recently learnt that they’re technically not a cruelty free brand, so have been looking into more affordable cruelty free options and have seen natio now have an invisible fluid option. My main concern is the eye stinging. Has anyone tried the invisible fluid version from natio that also has very sensitive eyes and could vouch for it? My partner is also looking for a sunscreen that doesn’t sting his eyes when he’s at work and I was thinking recommending him natio. He’d probably be better off with the one you reviewed as he needs something a little more moisturising.
The silk hydration gave me some very terrible breakouts and small itchy pimples. I had used it for a while and it was a great one, even bought 3 bottles in advance 😂) I use a lot of sunscreen), had to throw them all away after that horrifying experience. And now cant even look at the bottle.
@@basicinfobranding I have extremely sensitive dry skin. I found the normal one horrible for my skin got rashes but the sensitive one was a little gentle. Worked better
I find with any neutrogena sunscreen, you can apply it just on your chin then somehow a few hours later when you’re driving on the motorway, it finds its way into your eyeball and temporarily blinds you from pain as you try and get to emergency stopping lane 😂

She should make a best and worst moistuiser video
I plan to! Soon haha I promise!
Love the Natio one, I’ve been using it for years 🙂
Thanks for those recs! I've actually got the niacinamide toner but haven't used it yet since I'm using another Niacinamide atm but I'm keen to try it out! Love to hear its working well for you ☺️
I have never applied sunscreen on my face. And maybe a handful time at the beach. Iam finally accepting that sunscreen is important as a black person 😂
SPF above 50 is better right ?
I agree Neutrogena really hurts my eyes. I used it just once and threw it away.
Ohh yess thats the best mineral option out there! Yea the eye sting can be a big issue!
@@raziamoe Thank you so much for that! Can't wait to have a look
i was wondering about the mecca sunscreen as well in your first video as that is what I am currently using.
Would love to know how long did you test them for and how well does makeup sit on top. Also would love to a mineral sunscreen review.
Can you please talk about asap sunscreen..Its Australian product..Love your efforts..
I haven't yet but I've been told good things! I plan on making a mineral sunscreen review video and will include that one in there 😊
@@raziamoe amazing! I only use mineral sunscreens to protect the waterways and am always on the lookout for good ones that are accessible in Aus
Thank you for the advice and the video very informative. What do you recommend for the skin as I pray 5 times a day, and washing the face I feel takes it away.
Please try dermaveen body moisturising spf 50 from chemist warehouse. I used it on my face as well - Great price and no white cast.
A few people have mentioned this one I'll have to give it a go! Thanks for the rec ☺️
Can you please tell me if those sunscreens are halal or not . Please help me with this I'm really struggling to find a nice sunscreen that is halal. Please reply .😭😭
Natio rose water spf 50 moisturizer is my all time fav.
@@raziamoe Oh that's awesome to know! My eyes sting and water with a lot of sunscreens. I'm going to give the Carroten one a go
I need the best sunscreen for oily skin that isn’t greasy with no white cast and for oily skin so ideally a matte finish….
I LOOOOOOVVVE the Mecca Cosmetica sunscreen but damn its expensive and i feel bad using it which defeats the point
hi razia, you are beautiful! i am so new to 'skin care'. only a few months, and haven't been using spf. but after all the serums, when you say this one or that one is particularly moisturising does that mean you could cut out the moisturiser step? just go from serums to spf? or still serums>moisturiser>spf? and does spf take place of a primer? or do you do spf>primer? sorry for so many questions!!
Hi Razia,
Thank you for your review.
What’s your teaspoon measuring spoon called??
Also do you re apply sunscreen
Hey Razia, have you tried the tbh skincare sunscreen? it looks super good but I can't find many reviews online for it
The Cancer Council Matt sunscreen stinks my eyes after a couple of hours. I got my husband to try n it did the same to him. Love the texture, what a shame.
The everyday humans one was weird! If I accidentally touch my face it came off like rubber??? 🤢
Razia, can we do the best tinted australian spf??
Naked sunscreen is at Mecca and not sure if want to try this one or ultra violet … decisions decisions
Great tips friend. Nice sharing.👍👍
thanks for watching 😊
And now cant even look at the bottle.
yes agreed!
what's the smell like of the natio sunscreen?
These are mineral sunblock?
There is a new naked Sundays sunscreen ❤️
Yes I have it! Currently trying and will review on my instagram soon!
Did u use the sunsense invisible tint sunscreen??? Please tell me if u did
No sorry I haven't tried that one.
Can you talk about the cancer council sunscreens???
I've reviewed the CC Face Day Wear in my previous sunscreen vid.
Hi please review WOTNOT 40 SPF NATURAL FACE SUNSCREEN, BB CREAM + MINERAL MAKEUP
try dr. jarts every sunday available at sephora
where botanical tinted sunscreen?
I try not to buy Nivea anymore based on their advertising whitening skin products to skin of colour
Can you do an update SPF please?
Could you please review banana boat sensitive sunscreen
If iI'm not mistaken thats a mineral sunscreen. I'm saving mineral sunscreens for another video 😊
@@raziamoe thanks lovely
@@basicinfobranding I have been using it over 1.5 years now the sensitive one feels the best one for my skin.
@@basicinfobranding I have extremely sensitive dry skin. I found the normal one horrible for my skin got rashes but the sensitive one was a little gentle. Worked better
really helpful thanks
Glad to hear it! Thanks for watching ☺️
NIVEA is the best😍😍😍
I have to watch this chanel on 1.25 speed lol. Great content though
Wish I watched this before I tried the cedaphil ultralight. Absolutely horrible sunscreen and doesn't match its claims at all.
Neutrogena i just don't know , their products isn't the worst but not the best either
Yes thats how I feel with Neutrogena as well. They're so close to being decent but just dont quite cut it haha
I'm sorry, I don't think I can trust a sunscreen brand that is names "Le Tan" 😂
