Sorry I made a mistake (actually there's probably more):
La Roche-Posay is the AUSTRALIAN one, the EU now has a new UV Mune version that seems to be heavier and has a new filter MCE that goes on a bit yellow (not surprising since it absorbs a bit in the violet range...). If you want the "old" EU / current AU version, Chemist Warehouse ships worldwide 😉
I can attest to this. Though it is 20 USD for shipping but I was able to snatch a few Cancer Council and Bondi Sands that was not available in the US. Took 2.5 3 weeks to arrive in the US.
Right I was about to say that, I always order LRP liquid from EU but the new UVmune is very yellowish, it works fine for the first application of the day and I love the full spectrum protection, BUT reapplication either makes you a yellow ball or your clothes yellow stain. Wish it's not that obvious so I find the one ...
I definitely want to put in my vote on the La Roche Posay Uvmune 400. All the UVA wave lengths are covered and the moisturizing cream version is easy to spread and gives a really nice dewy finish. It reapplies over itself pretty well too and I haven't noticed any cast. The only catch is having to order it from outside the USA because of the new filters we'll probably never get. 😭
It would be great if you could elaborate on the yellow color of the newest LRP UVMune, and why that makes sense. I love this sunscreen, but I make sure not to get it on lighter clothes, because I ruined two brand new white T-shirts. The yellow stains are really bad. Can’t attest to it staining my skin yellow, but I do take care not to rub it into my gray hairs on my temples, as those will stain bright yellow 😅 All of this seems to be less of a problem with the cream version, which also has Mexoryl 400.
Definitely want to order and try out the cancer council matte spf mentioned. Thanks for the heads up about Chemist Warehouse 😈

What I learned from Michelle in this video:
1. U.S. is behind the times (duh)
2. Australia = kangaroos
3. Laksa is something that exists somewhere in the world and should be spicy
4. Don't use face sunscreen on your back.

Laksa is a rice noodle dish from Malaysia/Indonesia (not sure which country exactly, but it's a Melayu dish so probably they just share the dish's origin) and yeah it's pretty spicy. Go to an Indonesian/Malaysian/Singaporean restaurant near you if you wanna try it lol

Great video, so much info, my head is spinning.....I could not really filter out which products might be suitable for my very oily, sensitive, clogged and acne prone skin. Loved the Japanese one at the beginning of the video, 2019 version but it is too moisturising for me as is canmake. I'm in Germany and I hate EU sunscreens. Too sticky and acne inducing. I used to love missha aqua sun gel 50 ++++ which I can't buy any more
I know you said you’re “working on” being able to give your opinion without disclaimers but I like the disclaimers! It shows your knowledge of the subject
I also don't think it's something that needs to be worked on. It's not a sign of weakness to make disclaimers. It gives us context for the recommendations, and that's good 😊
It's also a great reminder that everybody is different and needs to find what works for them. I assumed my eyes just had to sting if I wore sunscreen until I learned from you how variable stinging is from person to person! Now I use the Bondi Sands Face Fluid and can avoid both eye sting and cancer. 🙏
Yeah I liked this disclaimer a lot too. It provided useful information about how to understand product recommendations. There were concrete examples, like looking for recommendations from people with a similar skin tone to yours to gauge the white cast. This type of "disclaimer" is just a different kind of science education. It's important to understand facts like "this product has this ingredient and here's how it works on a chemical level" but it's just as important to know what to DO with those facts- have to remember to ask "will this product be useful for ME?"

Great classification, thanks. Do you think it could be possible to provide the level of UV protection that offers the sunscreens? Would be so great! It’s so difficult to find which level of UV protection they have (1- 5 starts Europe, and ? / PA+ _ PA++++ in Japan, Korea etc.) it would be great to cover some of the more affordable options (in Europe- The Altruist, with 5 starts of uv protection, impossible to buy the 50 spf outsideUK (just 30spf) I don’t find any other with so much uv protection that is what I care the most. Thanks for your videos, are really clear and well presented, even given the complexity of the topics. 🙏❗️

Not to mention what must have looked like giant, bouncing rabbits. Toddler-like fluffy-eared teddy bears. Seals with ducks' beaks. Screaming, mischievous parrots.

I'm in France and I started using sunscreen 2 years ago at 30. As a black woman, I never thought sunscreen was necessary for me before! Anyway, my first and only sunscreen I've ever used was La Roche Posay invisible fluid, I was looking for a new fancier one but I guess I'll stick to that because it made your list :) Now I need one for the body!
Yes as a black woman too I agree La Roche is quite good because it doesn't leave a white cast

The Paula’s choice mineral sunscreen is really good for a mineral sunscreen and doesn’t break me out like La Roche-Posay or burn my eyes like the cancer council ones. I do like skin ceuticals, but pricey.
Korean, Japanese sunscreens are safe to use in Australia as sun is very harsh here?
Of all the face sunscreens I use, I still prefer Japanese products. People often criticise the alcohol ingredients in them but if you are located in a hot humid country, it is very helpful and refreshing. I switch among these products that are perfect as a moisturizer and a make up base: Hada Labo Gokujyun UV white gel, Nivea UV Super Water Gel, Biore aqua rich watery essence.
What do you think of the Allie sunscreen? Been using it for years and it’s great but too pricey do you have cheaper recommendations?

My brother went to Australia and said there were like skin cancer clinics on every corner. Jealous! In Canada, if you want to get your moles checked by a medical dermatologist you have to go to your GP, get a referral, and then wait an unspecified amount of time depending on how dodgy your mole looks to the GP. I don't even think you could pay to see one. Meanwhile my grandfather had skin cancer, my grandmother and mum both had precancerous lesions removed, my uncle died of melanoma of the eye, and I've got red hair and a Fitzpatrick 1 skin type, and no way to get a suspicious mole checked without a long wait period. Blurg!
Why not visit dermatologist? Or hospitals?
yep we get our skin checked by GPs and it doesn't cost anything, and I had a BCC removed by a GP for $50. We also have a ton of research on melanoma and tough regulations for sunscreens so any brand available for sale is a good one
@@w.w.w.w.w Is that the case just at that one dermatologist in Toronto, that you can pay for an exam, or do you know if that's the case all over Ontario?
@@iarshintasudjana4382 I live in Australia where it’s true skin cancer clinics everywhere but the comment about Canada (at least Vancouver) is totallycorrect. I am visiting for 6 months (originally from here) and my friend to see a dermatologist about a suspicious mole has to get a doctor referral and then it’s a 3-4 month wait for the dermatologist!! No place she contacted (and there were lots) took private paying patients - the healthcare system here as gotten BAD for everything!!!

The only US chemical sunscreen I can tolerate around the eyes is from Black Girl for kids. I have very dry skin and I love how moisturizing and dewy it is. I also have a beard and buzz my head and love the way it easily blends around hair. I don’t think people with oily skin would like it but you never know. It’s also only $10 US for 3 ounces.

I love, Love, LOVE the Beauty of Joseon sunscreen. I have sensitive/rosacea skin that is prone to spots from sunscreen in summer. This is the FIRST sunscreen I have used that not only is not irritating, but soothes without any breakouts. I would put this on to go to bed, it feels that nice!!
It is definitely not water resistant though, but is gorgeous under full makeup and even has a slight blurring effect. The anti-aging/ brightening ingredients is the cherry on top.

I LOVE that you go into detail about eye stinging! That's the number one con that keeps me away from most cosmetic products in general. I have Sjogren's so my eyes are extra GRUMPY. Thanks so much 🥰🥰🥰

I am happy you mentioned that mineral sunscreen can also irritate the eyes. I probably have the most reactive sensitive skin with eczema tendencies and have experienced irritation with some mineral sunscreens as well as chemical ones. Zinc can be drying. It depends on the formula, other ingredients and combination of moisturizing ingredients in there. Bondi Sands fragrance free SPF 50 often is gentler than my other mineral sunscreen even around the eyes. So it really depends. My favorite EU sunscreen is Avene Intense Protect SPF 50, although it does yellow my light clothes unfortunately. I wish my skin agreed more with the new La Roche Posay UVmune formulas I recently purchased online, but I am able to use the US formulas pretty well, both the mineral and chemical ones. It is really difficult navigating the sunscreen market and all the trial and error can be frustrating plus all the money spent!
Have you tried the Cetaphil Sun Kids liposomal sunscreen? I read somewhere that the 'liposomal' type are new and very good, but I'd love your thoughts on that. How would a liposomal one compare to say the La Roche Posay one?

Thank you for your recommendations! I use the Bondi Sans one as it's very accessible here in the UK and I've noticed the face and body one feel the exact same on my skin and you get much more for your money with the body one, I'm glad to see you mentioned it since your expertise are very helpful :)
After watching your previous video about Korean sunscreens, I purchased some of the Beauty of Joseon sunscreen, and I absolutely love it. It goes on so smoothly and doesn't sting my eyes at all. I ordered a couple of the other sunscreens you recommend in that video, but I haven't tried them yet. However, I *did* get a little sample packet of an Innisfree sunscreen product that was *terrible*. It went on super thick and pasty, it wouldn't blend in, and it was extremely difficult to wash off my face. I had to wash my face three times to get it off. (I thought I would like it because there's an Innisfree sunscreen I can purchase in the US - SPF 36 - and I really like that one.)
ETA: Also, I found the Bondi Sands sunscreens (SPF 30 and SPF 50) in a drugstore here (in the US) - and I love them both. There's another one here in the US that I like wearing: SunBum's Face 50 (SPF 50). I use this product on my body because it's fragrance-free, inexpensive and comfortable on the skin. I don't like wearing it around my eyes because it stings, but I will put it everywhere else on my face. I use that sunscreen stick trick of yours. :)
As of date, the only mineral sunscreen that works well on my deep complexion is made by UK brand BEA Skincare. It’s seamless on my face. Thank you, Michelle! I might try that Cancer Council one!

Aussie skincare brands are great. Most of my skincares are Aussie brands, particularly Ultraceuticals. It's just that they seem to do less ad to catch attention. The climate here is more harsh and detrimental, so the local brands are simultaneously more targeted, I suppose.
So glad you’ve mentioned the isntree sunstick! I’ve been eyeing that one because it just seems convenient for when I’m lazy. Maybe I can finally convince my SO to apply sunscreen more often too!

Athlism (the tube one) from Biore is a “new” one for me. Like it a lot. Stronger protection then other biore ones. And anessa again still on top of my list for the 2022 version.
I really wanted to love the la roche posay one but it stings my skin really badly, not just around the eyes, and my skin is not even super sensitive. I have really been enjoying the Evy one, no eye-stinging and works great under make-up too!

I love the Biore Aqua Rich. I was worried about the alcohol content, but it doesn’t bother my dry, sensitive skin at all. Wears well under makeup.
I like the Nivea super gel. It is similar but doesn’t have the fragrance which is good for me 😅

I have oily/combo skin and I LOVE Neutrogena Hydro Boost water gel. I use it instead of a moisturiser in the mornings and I find this works for me.
Is that an spf tho?
My favourite daily sunscreen under make-up is Mecca To Save Face! Re-purchased multiple times. Alot of sunscreens sting my eyes but this one doesn't, love it!
I do want to try the new Cancer Council one you mentioned, I love their 'Work' and 'Sport' sunscreens and use them, but their face sunscreens are the worst when it come to eye sting!

I wishhhhhh I watched this video before!! I used beauty of Josen on a VERY hot hot sunny day in LA and got the worse sunburn and suntan lines. I didn’t know it was forumulated more for going to the office or indoors!
This is really helpful in showing some options I can try to find one my skin does not react to. Seeing recommendations on Asian brands is great too because I spend a lot of time in Japan. Thank you for this!

Since I tried the Isntree Watery Sun Gel and the stick I'm so happy. Never thought chemical sunscreens would go with my type 1, dry, sensitive skin but these really work. No stinging, hydrating ánd easy to reapply. Also love the Scinic Enjoy All Around Airy Sun Stick for very warm humid and therefore sweaty days. Leaves a more dry finish but is not dehydrating and is sweat proof up to 80 minutes.
Downside about sticks: more expensive and you have to scoop a third of the stick out of the holder.
Is the Isntree sunscreen heavy?I’m considering to buy it in the winter cause my oily skin tend to get drier at that time. But I am not sure if it fits my skin
@@reveurimadreamer5035 Hi, no it's not heavy, but I have a better recommendation.
The Beauty of Joseon Sun Relief+Rice+Probiotics is just that extra bit better for acne prone/oily skin ánd more gentle. It has a bunch of skincare ingredients and fragrance free.
I like it even better than the Isntree, which is not heavy at all btw.
I made the mistake not taking the time to sit down for 10-15 minutes after applying sunscreen, to let it dry down fully so it stays put.
Since this one has so many good ingredients, you only need a serum under it but that's personal preference.
Lab Muffin has a new sunscreen fav vid, highly recommend seeing it, since you seem to have the same skintype.

@@monicaclasener Oh my thank you. I did put the BOJ sunscreen into consideration. Then I saw quite some bad reviews about it so I was a bit hesitant. I'll buy the minisize first to see if it works on my skin.
Round lab would be a good choice if it was water resistant. It often rains during the winter in my place. Reapplication too many times a day is bad for my skin
@@reveurimadreamer5035 That's a good idea! To try a whole tube and not liking it is frustrating and expensive.
More sunscreens that are water resistant and non fragranced are from La Roche Posay/Anthelios xl line
Summer/1) Wet Skin spf 50 Gel = very wel tolerated
2) Anthelios xl Dry Touch Gel Cream is especially for sensitive, oily and acne prone skin and is also very water resistant.
-When you have money to spare- 3)Evy Daily UV Face Mousse (Swedish) has new technology and goes on like a primer under make up/is very water resistant.
I have 2 bottles lined up but haven't tried them out because it's still rather cold over here in the Netherlands.

Thanks Michelle! Would love a body sunscreens vid. I picked up Dermaveen Sensitive Sun 50+ the other day which feels pretty nice; only downside is that it doesn't come with a pump. Just want something that feels almost as nice as a face sunscreen for my arms and legs that I can use every day for commute, office job plus lunch outside... that doesn't cost a mint!

Thank you for showing active ingredient breakdowns as someone who's allergic to Avobenzone. I can't use any American sunscreens that aren't mineral-based. I must admit I prefer chemical or chemical/mineral mix sunscreens. It's exciting to find out that Australia is starting to add in new ingredients that should take the place of Avobenzone.

I currently have Neutrogena Ultra Sheer Face, and Nivea UV Face Shine Control (for my face)
For my neck, arms and forelegs, I have that water-resistant Bondi Sands one.
Update:
I now have Awesome Solbari UPF clothing.
The Neutrogena one is VERY oily. Awful. I have an oily to normal face.
The Nivea one is absolutely awesome (as a noob, comparing to the previous one and the mineral stuff from when I was a kid). After a whole day, my face still feels like there is kind of nothing on it... or it does feel like maybe a super light clay or something has been dusted on, but It has a drying effect that prevents oil that would otherwise be there. Not oily at all, even after light sweating (not that it's water-resistant). It's a bit odd.
The water-resistant Bondi Sands one I only use on my arms and forelegs, and after it dries, it's like there's nothing on the skin. I think it would be very oily if I applied it to my face, though (but I'd do that for swimming and heavy sweating). I also have a pump spray bottle version for the back of my hands (genius).
OH, but as you're applying any of those, it's WAYYYYYYY thicker than these watery sunscreens.
From this video the cancer council fluid pump bottle one looks pretty good. Application looks nice at least. The Matte Face & Body moisturiser one also looks pretty good, at 3-times less expensive. They seem to have updated the ingredients, since avobenzone isn't in it anymore.
Though really I just wanna try the mostly-Korean sunscreens (Kolmar), because they focus so much on hydration. I'm okay with a little bit of natural oils. The Cancer Council ones look like they would apply nicely, but I don't think they're all too invested in the moisturising side of things.
I only just discovered the Azclear sunscreen so can't comment on the old formula, but I'm currently enjoying it (and also the 20% azelaic acid). Yay, for having an informed, evidence-based, Australian sunscreen guru - thank you!!

I love the Cancer Council's BB Creams! I mix the light and the medium and they're my every day make up! I put a finishing powder over them though, as my face can look a bit too greasy with just the BBs on. I'm glad you mentioned the Cancer Council's products, I'm too much of a cheapskate to buy expensive sunscreens 🙈 and also the Woolies and Coles recommendations!

I also mix two shades, except I mix the light one with the invisible one (with no tint) because I'm too dang pale even for the light shade. I get so many compliments on my skin when I wear it-- I even wear it at night because it just looks that good. It's basically my favorite foundation! I sometimes have to jump through some hoops to get it shipped here in the US, but it's so worth it.

1. Eucerin Sun Allergy Protect SPF 50 and Eucerin Actinic Control SPF 100
2. Avene Sun Fluide SPF 50+
3. Isdin Eryfotona line
4. Cantabria Labs Heliocare 360º Water Gel SPF 50+

Heliocare has a strong scent n a bit thick for me..slight whitish though but moist enough...
The Eucerin Oil Control that was recommended by Glow by Ramon is my new holy grail, it's seriously invisible and made me change my mind about alcohol in sunscreen.

Actually, there is a zinc oxide-based sunscreen that is invisible. It is from the UK, and it is called INZINCABLE SPF50 and it is formulated for darker skin tones. As a Latina, I love it! could you please review it too? Just to check if it is really good based on their ingredient list. Thanks!
Except for Kiss Me Mommy, all the J-beauty sunscreens pill on me, even the milks. Love the BoJ for daily wear in cooler weather and Isntree WSG for warmer weather. My newest favorite everyday is the Skin1004 sun serum.
Great video again! I just ordered a ton of Biore UV Watery Essence again as that is still my favourite. Every other sunscreen I try stings my eyes :( Will be looking out for the other ones in this video and try the stick sunscreen around the eyes! I feel like if you recommend it I just order it, it has to be good ;)
I use Biore UV since at least 5 years and I love it, works very well and it is not irritating or greasy.
European sunscreens of spf50+ also mean above 60.
I think it's only not the case for asian sunscreens; they can be 50+ but an spf of like 54.
My favourite is the Hamilton everyday face spf 50. I like that it has a slight tint, sinks into the skin easily and the fact it's only $10 is a huge plus.
I love that one too. It’s the only non greasy sunscreen for me. I’ve tried every facial sunscreen on offer in Australia and keep going back to it.

Question: Should I blot my skin with blotting papers before reapplying sunscreen? If I don't, will the sunscreen that I reapply lay a film on the skin properly? As a mature Australian woman with normal to dry skin I love Natio Daily Defence Face Moisturiser SPF 50+ It's well priced here, is found in stores and doesn't pill under makeup.

i was on the hunt for my new hg sunscreen ever since the pruito centella sunscreen got exposed, but i've found it's replacement a few months ago and i'm so relieved that it's on this list lol. the bondi sands sunscreen is my new hg sunscreen. it's fragrance free, lightweight, no white cast, high spf, broad spectrum, doesn't break me out, AND it's super affordable. it's literally everything i would want in a sunscreen. the only downside is that it does make me look oily and it'll sting my eyes but only if it gets into them (completely fine to put on my eyelids and around my eyes though!). if your criteria looks anything like mine, i highly recommend trying it out

Would you recommend avoiding makeup containing titanium /zinc oxide when applied over sunscreen containig avobenzone cos I've heard it can degrade it? i just want to make sure i keep my full sunscreen protection as so many make up products contain these actives thank you!
It's hard to say - makeup without SPF shouldn't have zinc oxide, but TiO2 is quite common. In makeup products they usually use larger particle TiO2 to get a white colour, and larger particles are meant to react less. If the makeup has a nice texture, chances are it's coated too.

- Hada Labo Hydrating UV perfect gel moisturizer
- Etude House Sunprise Mild Airy Finish Sun Milk
- Nivea Sun Zero Feeling UV Milk (discontinued?)
- Neutrogena Dry Touch sunblock
These 4 all dry down really comfortably for me.

I have only tried the Etude House Sunprise Mild Airy Finish Sun Milk before, but I did not like it at all T_T it dried down almost too much(?) As I would rub it in, it would dry down and I would have issues with my face almost feeling tight as I tried to rub it in. I have pretty oily skin with acne, so I was surprised to find it to be so matte to the point where I could feel it on my face when I would talk and make facial expressions.
Note: I used a sample of it and not a full-size product, so maybe mine was a dud >_< but that was my personal experience. Also, it was like 6 years ago so maybe the formula I used is outdated too.

I wish there was more discussion of the packaging. I tend to react allergically to sunblock+sun, so I have to be really choosy. I LOVE the Eucerin Oil control Face Sun Gel-creme. But I hate the packaging! It's in one these stupid pump bottles (like the the cancer council one). These have an extremely high plastic-weight-to-product-weight ratio, which is not just terrible for the environment but makes it impossible to judge how much is left. An empty bottle is almost as heavy as a full one, so I often run out when away from home.
The Eucerin dry touch sun gel crème is very similar to the oil control one on my face and come in a 200 ml tube for under 15€ here in France.

ETA: A long-time favorite of mine that's available in the US is La Roche-Posay's Anthelios Mineral Sunscreen. I've used the untinted version for several years now, and I really like it. A more recent favorite that requires special order is Round Lab's Birch Juice Moisturizing Sun Cream. It contains more of the newer chemical filters that don't trigger my rosacea, and it leaves a lovely, moisturized glow.

I live in Australia too and my skin is probably normal-ish but I’m very sweaty in summer, and my skin is prone to dryness in the winter, especially being on Tret. Probably the most versatile and lightweight sunscreens I’ve found so far are: Hawaiian Tropic Fragrance Free, Hamilton SPF50+, MCo beauty Invisible Sunscreen, and Dermaveen Sensitive (this one is slightly more moisturising but not at all greasy).
yes I like the dermaveen too. I mostly only use for body as I have oily skin so I'm a bit paranoid about anything too creamy but its very lovely, like putting on a moisturizer, but not greasy.
I started using Hamilton Everday Face and I love it!
EU sunscreens are the best filter wise in my oppinion. These are my recommendations for oily/combination skin:
1- Pharmaceris Sun spf50+ (new formula)
2- Bioderma Photoderm Aquafluide spf50+
3- Bionike Defence Sun spf50+ no shine face fluid (new formula)
4- Avene spf50+ fluid ultra light (new formula/ only on face not neck bcs it stains clothes)
5- La Roche Posay Uvmune 400 fluid (my go to outdoor sport sunscreen)
6- Yves Rocher Anti Shine spf50+ (new formula, daily lightweight sunscreen)

Hi, I tried them all yeah and I'm using them all currently :D If you don't mind a little bit of white cast because of Tinosorb M, I would choose the Pharmaceris one because the filters are really good and it has a PPD value of 30 and it has a dry feel.
They are the best! La Roche formula is soo lightly and absorbs quickly in the skin (Also we use for hiking 🥾😬) and Bioderma also! It works great With makeup 🌻
Is the Avene superior to the Face and Body sunscreen lotion? That leaves a white cast.
I love the Biore and keep rebuying! Its so nice and doesn’t feel greasy or thick.
One of my biggest pet peeves is a sunscreen that makes my face look super oily and also bc it's very humid here in the Philippines. BIORE UV AQUA RICH WATERY ESSENCE is one of my fave beauty products currently because it is NOT greasy, leaves a velvety finish on my skin and have not had any breakouts from it (my skin is acne-prone btw). Definitely love this product!!! 💟

Unfortunately I found Bondi Sands far too greasy and didn't get the hype. I can maybe use it in the depths of a UK winter but I was surprised at the texture coming from an Aussie brand. I've heard the same about most of the Ultra Violette ones but I'm going to try all the ones on your list!

I have a concern. I live in the US, and I too want to use the new generation filters. So, I tend to order a lot through either Care to Beauty or YesStyle. I often worry that these sunscreens lose their effectiveness in transit due to extreme hot or extreme cold. I just got 4 new sunscreens from Care to Beauty, I brought them in as soon as they arrived, and when I unboxed them they were all quite warm. I live in South Carolina, and it can get quite hot here. Should I be concerned about this? Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

I think you're right to be concerned. That's why I don't like shipping sunscreens from so far around the world because I view them as a medical product. I'm not as bothered about it with skincare tbh!
@howudoin135 I would imagine that any sunscreens have the potential to get too hot regardless from where they are sent from. It has to be shipped from point A to B no matter where you buy it from. One exception would be if you buy it at the place it's actually produced, I suppose. I mean if you're in South Carolina and buy it from, let's say, California, it still has to be shipped. So, it has the potential to get too hot while in transit. The potential is there even if you buy it from a store. Unless the product is shipped in climate controlled transportation it doesn't matter where it comes from unless it's made in and shipped from and straight through only lower temperature climates or times of years. Regardless, I'm sure some of the ingredients/chemicals efficacy can certainly be affected by temperature extremes dependingon what they are and combined with. It's a chemical reaction after all. They should say on the label what temperatures to store them between. They should start doing it if they don't. There's only so much you can do besides deciding not too trust that it works and not use sunscreen at all.

just realized that all of my sunscreens aren’t actually sunscreens, but sun creams. all of them are korean. i was hoping to get your opinion, is there any difference between sunscreen and sun cream? i’m paranoid that latter are inferior! thanks! love all of your content
from what i know, korean and japanese sunscreens are really good in terms of the finish and texture, meaning they are the most comfortable to wear. However, protection wise, they dont seem to be as great as australian or european sunscreens. If you live in a country with a LOT of sun and high UV rays, i would recommend sticking with european or australian sunscreens
