- Living in Thailand and Abandoned dogs, we saved the life of this Lucky Abandoned dog in Thailand. I donated the money I would have spent on my Birthday to Michelle's Cat Sanctuary to save the life of this little dog. I help out one day a month also to help maintain the day to day living of these rescued animals. I have also set up a monthly donation to help also. Michelle is an Angel sent from heaven to help these cats and dogs
He was dumped outside of our house and savaged by three other soi dogs so for 5 days he never left our property we have no time to take care of dogs so have decided we want no pets, our choice but this dog searched for sanctuary in our property feeling safe in our garden safe from being attacked by other dogs, we never petted him or shown attention to him as we did not want to befriend him, five days later he tried very hard to befriend us and at this time my heart give in and we decided to help this young dog and in the video we showed what we did for this young dog.

Hi were not ready to take a pet at the moment, taking a dog is a big commitment so when were done with travel then I will get a dog and yes agree a dog is more rewarding company than a wife, they are happy to see you every day. Ploy's parents already have two farm dogs, also it is 13 hrs on a bus to Ploys home. He is in a better place now he gets all the love and attention he wants, hopefully someone will give him a forever home. He is worth it.🐶🙏

Oh I love you guys helping hopeless dogs and cats. When I see the rich Thai people walking around with pedigree dogs or cats which they are for the cold climate, it makes me so angry as there are so many homeless dogs and cats everywhere! Thanks for helping Buddy Les and Michelle 👍👍

We saved a soi pup surviving alone in an abandoned house , she is being looked after like a little princess , she is clever with. a excellent temperament . We are in the UK at the moment , but will be back in Udon Thani on the 4th of Sept .

Hi les my brother who is moving back to Thailand with his thai family of over 20 years next month (September) guided me to ur utube channel. I am looking at retiring in Thailand in about 15 years so looking and researching everything way in advance
I was almost in tears watching your video as at the time i had no idea why he was going to the vet before you returned to the uk.i thought he was going to be PTS 😢 😢😢 However i cried with joy to see that he is now being cared for
I own over 10 dogs here in the uk and its like a 2nd full time job lol
I cant retire over to Thailand until my last dog dies of old age which will be early 60's now .
My life has been with animals .
Thankyou for having a huge heart and for being so responsible for that little fella.Alot of english people in countries actually just abandoned their pets when they returned to the uk.😢

Lee, all I have to say is from my experience with stray dogs in Asia, I have a little cautionary advice for you. I once adopted a stray dog in South Korea where I worked as an expat for a while. The dog bit and drew blood twice during my time in S. Korea, but still the dog was forgiven by the people he bit. Then after he was brought back to the USA, that adopted stray dog bit another person, but this time it was a child of a friend. We had no choice but to give the dog away with hopes that an owner will adopt him who will know how to teach him not to bite people. Just be careful when small children will be around that stray dog, because you never know what that dog will do to little hands.
So you know he bites and let it near children . That's smart. The dog went through a major traumatic experience. They need time but you have no patience or not enough compassion.
@@MarkTattersall-t1b You have no idea how many years between the bites in Korea and the bite in the USA. He went for several years without bitting anyone. We tried our best but he ended up fooling us all, and then one day, snap and bite. I believe in hind sight, that the dog might had been hit on the head a lot by his previous owner, so he was very nice and well behaved, but if you try to suddenly pat him on the head or if you are a child that tries to hit him on his head, he will try to bite to defend himself. I'm not really sure, because I am not a dog phycologist. The dog was really a lot of trouble to try to help and give a home to him. Unpredictable and dangerous stray Korean dog. Be careful of those stray dogs in Asia, because you do not know what kind of abuses they had been through by their previous owners, or other older larger stray dogs that might have damaged their mental stability.
Yes I know and understand where your coming from, I'm not a professional dog person but go with my gut feelings, this dog in my opinion has not been around other dogs as he is so scared, his human interaction is of a dog that has had human interaction, he was scared many times but not one snarl or snapping, getting in and out the cadge nothing, getting the muzzle put on at the vet nothing, he was jumpy around the food but he was starving hungry but never bit the hand that fed it. If I wanted a dog Buddy would be the one. I decided on no pets as we like to travel and having any pet disrupts these plans, perhaps when I'm ready for my slippers that might be the time for one.
