    We definitely need more base model reviews. They tend to be the slowest movers on a dealer lot, even when the pickings are slim. Great review!

    I love my 2022 ES Base. You mention it’s very cheap but when the car is under $30k, can go off-road, has 3 rows, and gets 28mpg... you cant complain toooooo much lol

    For the 2nd row armrest cup holders to be level you have to take the headrest out and turn it around and reinsert it. I just got this exact suv in black but with the 20in wheels and I love it. It handles well and rides smooth. I love the seats because they are so comfortable.

    The base model is what i purchased - I don’t care for leather in Florida it gets too hot - I think the seats are okay I like them and it seems durable. I paid $27k for mine brand new in 2024 .. show me something for that price in that class that’s better lol

    Mitsubishi may not be going away imminently, or even in the next year or so. However, I would place no importance at all on their 10 year powertrain warranty as an incentive to buy one. I think the chances of them staying around anywhere near that long are slim to nothing. In 2012 I almost bought a new Suzuki but ended up buying a Kia instead. About a month later Suzuki N.A. suddenly filed for bankruptcy and departed the US market. Isuzu did the same thing 4 years earlier. Small manufacturers generally don't have good track records in the US unless they are selling high priced exotic cars with huge profit margins. Buy a Mitsubishi only if you really like it better than the competition and are willing to gamble on being left high and dry in the future.

    • @themockalove
      @themockalove  2 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      You have a very good point. However, I have a feeling that even if Mitsubishi leaves NA, there might be some deal with Nissan to take care of the existing customers (as a lot of the parts are interchangeable, especially the drivetrain). But the concerns are valid nonetheless.
      P.S. Thank you for watching the video till the end.

    I vastly prefer manual seats. Wheels less flashy and smaller. Cloth swats. Prices 25k or less. This will be high on list.
    I prefer Mitsubishi over Nissan. Not happy they dropped the prior 2.4 and V6 motors by Mitsubishi.

    Nice review, I like the cloth seats they look very nice. I absolutely hate leather seats. They crack and peel over time and look ugly. when you get in the car on a hot day it burns your backside.
    I like this outlander, it looks like it has alot of aftermarket potential, I think the front bumper light will look better if it had a dark housing or if mitusbishi did the lights similar to the 2022 eclipse cross.
    The power is enough for a suv, it has roughly the same power as the 2021 Rav 4 and 2022 Tucson. Which is not bad. Mitsubishi was scheduled to Release a ralliart concept outlander and hybrid model this year at the Tokyo motor show but the event got canceled.
    Mitsubishi biggest downfall is the awful decisions made by the ceo. Of mitusbishi motors Japan. There are simple things that can be done to make Mitsubishi so much more appealing and they skimp.
    Like adding a turbo charger to the 2022 mirage 3 cylinder engine on to top trim of the car would have have the car so much more fun to drive.

      I agree. They're heavily focusing on saving the brand and their financial situation and making vehicles that sell most. I like that the outlander looks different than the others. I'm a sucker for the oddball. And in this case, I think they did well and the vehicle actually turned out to be quite swell for what it is 👌

      Rav4 is not a 7 seater. Also, this one (Base trim) is around 32k CAD (which is under 30k USD). I have not driven a 2022 Rav4, but I'm assuming the outlander is more comfortable (the ride is great).

      I'm struggling to see the immaturity here. It is my digital creation and yes, I truly do "whatever I want" in the content that I make. That's the beauty of it. If I have a sentimental or emotional attachment to things I'm discussing in a video, I will include that, as everybody should.
