Both fantastic cars. Love the new Outlander, super attractive SUV on the inside and outside. I've driven the RAV4 in the limited trim, it was very nice, heated seats all around, ventilated seats up front, the digital rearview mirror etc. The only thing is, I really wish Toyota could make it feel a bit more premium. The regular gas engine is quite noisy and the interior doesn't quite give the impression that the outlander does. Since the RAV4 has so many premium features, it would be awesome to see them put a few more things into the styling. All I can say is, everyday vehicles are really starting to become really luxurious. At this point, fully loaded regular brands can be a lot nicer than base models from premium brands. They only heat the steering wheel halfway because they want to discourage you from gripping the top of the steering wheel which would cause serious damage to your face from your hand flying up and hitting you if the airbag goes off.
Sorry not buying that. Pretty well most other cars with heated steering wheels are heated all around. When you’re maneuvering your vehicle in tight spaces are parking you’re still touching the top and bottom of the wheel while you’re turning it. If they wanted to discourage you then they might as well put a yoke in like the Model S Plaid. My button is to the right of the power mirrors, also auto folding when you lock the car can be changed in settings. Unlike other models that have that feature (acura namely) you cannot reverse with them folded. Which is annoying if you've folded them to park in a narrow garage. Mitsubishi has no such limitations.

If they wanted to discourage you then they might as well put a yoke in like the Model S Plaid. Anyways, every time I touch the cold spot on our Highlander, it just reminds me more how I hate a half heated wheel. Personal gripe.
@@EverydayReviews2022 You might want to research it. When your in tight spots maneuvering you are just briefly using the top of the wheel.
McRoy, I've worked in the development and manufacturing areas of Toyota Services for over twenty years and I can say without a doubt that you are wrong!. Not sure where you got your erroneous information but you're absolutely mistaken. If you want to show where you're pulling your data from via a link stop research data so that everyone can poke holes in it for future generations go for it. If you choose not to well assume you realize the mistake you made. I put a cup of coffee ☕ on as we waiting your feedback.
The fact the sides are the only sides that heat doesn't bother me. I don't drive with my hands at the top of the wheel so the sides are just fine for me!

They are both good Car's on it's own categories of course the size durability and after sale ❤❤❤❤
is it a promised long term review of Outlander?
Is the rav4 you’re reviewing the 2022 or 2021? Thank you!!
It’s a 2021. Basically the same. 2022 has a new trim and some new interior led lights.
@@EverydayReviews2022 fuel econony seems better on the 2022 rav4 ?
Guys..please do the same comparison with 2023 outlander vs 2023 rav4 please..this video was Amazing...hats off😍
They’re the same for 2023. I’d like to do an Outlander PHEV vs RAV4 Prime though.
Great intro. 👏🏼😃
Toyota is getting lazy. My 2018 ford fusion has a nicer interior than the 2022 Rav 4.
Did anyone do KIA Telluride vs Mitsubishi Outlander?
I need a comparison of an Outlander and a Terrain
Really enjoy both your commentary and the side by side reviews. Thank you!
Good video
What about the phev vs prime?
What is the weight of the Outlander? I need a towable vehicle under 5,000 lbs. Thank you for your response.
Its something like 3300 to 3500
Good job guys, I love my outlander! And I would have totally blown you off the line if I was driving that (no offense to either driver).
When it come to Vietnam?
Do the comparison during a snow storm and you willl see the real difference between the 2.
🤔🤔🤔🤔🤔🤔 TOYOTA RAV4 😎👍🏻
How do you fold the mirror on the outlander. I am going crazy looking for it
auto fold when you locked the car. same thing with my eclipse cross sel trim
Auto fold or there’s a button between the left and right mirror buttons.
My button is to the right of the power mirrors, also auto folding when you lock the car can be changed in settings. Unlike other models that have that feature (acura namely) you cannot reverse with them folded. Which is annoying if you've folded them to park in a narrow garage. Mitsubishi has no such limitations.
My next car and maybe mu dream car..is outlander 2022. But i see this video defren drive sound proofing in two's car..I see the cabin sound the rav 4 to be quite.. she drive on the outlander right..? So the tyr and air sound listening in the car.. so im must think for the next my dream car.. mitsubishi company must alert for this outlander because maybe in Malaysia this price maybe on 180,000.00 and 200,000.00 ringgit malaysia.. please common mitsubishe outlander.. must 🚨
Just want to point out, i have the outlander 2022. I find it quite queit. However, it can be even quiteer with the sunroof completely closed. Not the window itself, but the material that completely blocks out sun. There is a noticeable difference to me when that is closed for cabin noise. Only noticed recently because i always drive with it open :)
RAV4 looks cheap and ugly compared to Outlander
Awesome intro
Kia Sorento be like,"Hold my beer."
😂
Sorento is bigger
Debating between Venza hybrid, rx350 lexus and outlander phev??? 🙄🙄
Rav 4 prime has better pure ev range but outlander has a fast charger. Why can't Toyota add a fast charger and it will be a winner. PHEV wants fast charging too
You can find the Mitsubishi for purchase…you can’t find the RAV4
Can't wait for the PHEV, it will have the power.
I'm waiting for the new PHEV also... I hope it's worth the wait. Otherwise I guess it's a KIA.
thanks
Only Toyota!
Funny intro. 😊
We had fun!
If you guys think the outlander looks nice outside don’t forget it got a Nissan engine and most importantly it’s got Nissan's famous CVT transmission that put numerous people get to work by walking. 😂❗️❗️
