After finally obtaining Panzer Dragoon Saga after months of sniping on eBay, I can finally say that Im one of the lucky few that owns all 5 games on this awesome list. I’m gonna wait til work slows down a bit so I can thoroughly enjoy Saga without interruptions, but I’m beyond stoked to experience it in all its 32 bit glory.

Saga is definitely my favorite from the series with Zwei, Orta and the OG/Remake after that.

I do not have SAGA.. But my list goes like this
#1 is PANZER DRAGOON ZWEI...
#2 PANZER DRAGOON ORTA.
#3 PANZER DRAGOON.
#4 PANZER DRAGOON REMAKE

Surprised you liked the original more than Zwei. The remake is really good! Now just to track down Saga. The good news is I do have a spare kidney just waiting to be sold.

Awesome video! I'm not really a fan of rail shooters but I have to admit that Orta looks pretty cool and I do have some interest in it. I know Saga is a JRPG but, outrageous cost aside, it never appealed to me. RPGs are, by far, my favorite video game genre but even compared to its contemporaries I always felt Saga's graphics looked muddy and ugly. There was just nothing there that sparked my interest. That said I do think the Panzer Dragoon series as a whole has a really cool aesthetic. The dragons are really unique looking and I like the design. Anyway, thanks for the interesting informative video, top quality as usual!

Thanks! The Saturn struggled with 3D graphics and with a few exceptions most of its full 3D games have that jagged, murky look. Still, I think that look compliments the games in this series, especially Saga given its overall drab look and vibe.

I'm not a fan. I think it just looks ugly tbh lol. Orta and the remake of the original look much more appealing in my opinion.

Nice video! My favourite PD games are Orta and Zwei. Not so much a fan of the first one tho, maybe I need to play the remake but the original isn't a favourite of mine. Not an RPG player myself so Saga is totally discarded :P

I'm not big on JRPGs anymore, but I still pop one in on occasion and see if it's any good. I played Saga a few years ago for the first time and thought it was pretty good, but nothing amazing after my first play through. I then proceeded to think about this game all the time afterwards and wanted it again which is something I almost never feel for RPGs. I played through most of it again for this video and I'm easily enjoying it twice as much as I did my first playthrough. Still, I love the rail shooter entries and I go back and play through Orta every few years. Excellent game :)

Zwei as number 5 immediately makes me discredit this entire list. Zwei is such an improvement over the first game and Panzer Dragoon Remake was disappointing at best

There is one more panzer dragoon game. Panzer dragoon mini. It was released on the Sega game gear but only in Japan and I kind wanna know where you put that game in this spectrum.

Zwei is 2 in German, check the pronunciation, it's z-why not z-way

Wow remake so high ? It is really not a fun game to play. And it is misses the artsy feel of the saga trilogy. And zwei lower than remake, blasphemy!
I do agree with PDS being number 1
