That's one of the best instructional videos on computer software I have seen. Your delivery is so natural, yet I know it took preparation to get the demonstration screens to appear just right. And the tips were valuable and to the point. No time was wasted.

I think whiteboard is useful especially for online/remote math or science classes that use a lot of solvings and or visual representations

Thanks for your video. Im a private mathematics tutor in the UK and use the whiteboard all the time in conjunction with sharing different PPTs an PDFs. Definitely best with a graphics tablet as well though.

I stumbled across this video by accident and started watching it mainly cause it had over 300k views; I didn't expect to learn anything, as I have been using zoom since the pandemic, but boy have I learnt a few things! )))

I would turn on the ( Always show meeting control toolbar) in the Zoom browser settings.
Second point , you could have one participant on the list of participants in order to see the down arrow when sending a message in chat, the way you explain , only people that knows that feature known what you meant.

Question, in a Zoom webinar, as a host, can you turn off the panelist's video as well as muting them if they are not responding to your ask? I know next to their name, it's something like "Ask to unmute." But if you need to force down their video, can you do that? (Same goes for their audio.) Thanks!

I have zoom basic and use it to teach children but just recently zoom made changes and when i share a photo i cant annotate while my student can and i see my self but can't see y students
I don't have the option of gallery view while sharing
It's really important for me to see the student not my self and to write r point out things on the shared photo

One big question for me is if it is possible to share screen and show people how to use zoom the way you are in the video - trying to show freelancers where I live in how to use zoom for their bespoke sessions in theatre and performing arts. Right now I am thinking of recording the screen and sharing it but that will take a lot of time, doing it live would be preferable!

Thanks for all you are doing for us! I teach fitness classes. After changing the settings as you have instructed, my music sound to my participants is really good! However, they still cannot hear me cue. What do you suggest without spending a lot of money? I have earbuds (not airbuds) but I cannot get any music from itunes to come though them even though other audio on my PC has no problem. Thanks!

If you go with Facebook, are the attendees presented with the choice of connecting through Facebook or with Zoom application or is it only with ONE of the solution (whether Zoom, Facebook or TH-cam)?

As a teacher, I have to see all of the students in Zoom at all times. This is difficult because I usually have a lot of screens open and toggle from one to another throughout the lesson. I need to have that Brady Bunch style view of my students on a separate monitor and it allows me to use all of the available space on my main computer. I was thinking of getting a super wide curved screen to eliminate the need for two monitors. Thoughts?

Whiteboard is a good feature tho we don’t use it as much in the biz world. How do you use it?
You might be correct but being a teacher I have to write or type the difficult words with its meaning for my students coz they are still kids or while teaching mathematics I must write the formula of the equation for them in order to
make it easier for them to solve it faster
@@ashrafhazara3437 I am a teacher as well and use the whiteboard often. You can use the annotate feature to let your students draw or text on the screen while sharing.
When you share the whiteboard have them go to the three dots on the top if their screen. There is a dropdown menu with the option "annotate" once selected they should be able to draw on the shared screen

The Whiteboard! Yes I use it all the time with my students we draw treble clef and bass clefs I use it for music theory with my younger kids we draw rainbows and the feature that is needed is copy and paste that's the only thing that's missing. The annotate feature works really well it just need copy and paste features. Or it would be nice if I could make a drawing of a treble clef or a grand staff and then save that as a template so I can pull it up for other students or a circle of fifths template
I also use zoom to teach music theory. I use an image of a music staff or piano keyboard and paste it into a Paint 3D file. Then we can draw in it like you would the whiteboard.
I am purchasing Zoom Pro and have a 4-day training 3 hours per day which equates to 12 hours. Can I record the whole training with a pro subscription where i get 1 GB cloud recording?

I would like to know how to see everyone on one screen while hosting a zoom meeting. Zoom only shows six people on the screen and I have to click on the arrow to see more people, but I want to see them all on one screen. Thank you!
Do you have advice for tablet and/or chrome book users? They don;t have access to a lot of settings. Is there a way for them to play music effectively for a group fitness class?
Mobile or tablet alone can be tricky. Sound or video won’t be ideal and the battery can die fast too. Try share // screen and play Spotify
